Treviades Melyn ist eine 4 Schlafzimmer neu umgebaute Granitmühle, die sich in einer atemberaubenden Lage hoch über dem Flussdorf von Port Navas befindet, mit herrlichen, weit reichenden Ansichten über die Eidechse, die man von jedem Zimmer im Haus aus bewundern kann. Auf der gepflasterten Straße, wo es genügend Parkplätze gibt, befindet sich ein zusätzliches, optionales Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad über dem Spielzimmer, was insgesamt 10 Gäste Platz bietet. (Bitte beachten Sie, dass eine zusätzliche Gebühr von £ 150, wenn das 5. Schlafzimmer erforderlich ist) ist. Der große Garten nach Süden ist eine sanft abfallende Rasenfläche, so Taschen für jeden zum entspannen oder genießen Sie energischer Aktivitäten. Das Anwesen ist ein atemberaubendes Beispiel traditioneller Handwerkskunst kombiniert mit einem luxuriös einfachen Interieur voller Licht und Charakter. Fabulous Küche, Holzbalken, Eiche Treppe und Boden und einen komfortablen, geräumigen Wohnbereich. Im Obergeschoss wurde jedes Schlafzimmer individuell mit Türen zu Julia Balkonen gestaltet. Gelegen in einer ruhigen ländlichen Gegend, aber in der Nähe des Dorfes Constantine, macht unser Haus einen unvergesslichen Urlaub. Fabulous home for special family time

Beautiful home in a bucolic location
This home was perfect four our group of five adults - 2 couples and one single. We enjoyed cooking and eating in the large kitchen, and happy hour and star-gazing on the patio. The photos are very accurate; yes, it is as lovely as it looks! Host was very helpful and responsive.

Wonderful peaceful break in the countryside, absolute Soul food.
Staying at this property was exactly what we all needed, a beautiful house, set in peaceful tranquility, Gorgeous views over rolling countryside from every angle and within an hours drive of most of the tourist hotspots. Although so lovely we stayed at the house for a couple of peaceful quiet days and used the Games room and enjoyed the outside furniture in the sun. Everything we needed was there, well equipped kitchen, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms, lovely lounge with a large TV for all of the family to relax in at night. Just loved it and would love to go again sometime.

The perfect venue for a special family celebration
Treviades Melyn is a former corn mill which has been cleverly restored and modernised as a spacious, attractive and very high quality family house. The views over extensive gardens and rolling countryside are breathtaking and the only sound at night is the owls hooting. Carol is a wonderful host who made us extremely welcome and ensured we had everything we could possibly need. She gave us lots of very useful information pointing us towards excellent local shops, restaurants, walks and beaches which we might not have found on our own. The area must rate as one of the most beautiful parts of the country and there is plenty to do for all age groups. It was the perfect venue for a very special family celebration.

Christmas with family
This large property, in a beautiful setting, was perfect for our Christmas week celebration. The bedrooms are all of a good size, well furnished and the beds comfortable. The countryside views from each are magnificent. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with ample untensils, crockery etc for 10 people and the large range cooker was great for cooking our Christmas dinner. The good size lounge is well set up and comfortable. Carol, our host, was very helpful during the booking process and welcomed us warmly just after our arrival and was also happy to hear our feedback on the few small glitches that we encountered during our stay. Overall this is one of the best properties we have rented and we will remember our Christmas holiday fondly.

What a lovely house! Well laid out & spacious with plenty of room for all 10 of us where you could find a spot to be on your own if you wanted. It felt so homely, comfortable & relaxing with bags of character! All spotlessly clean and well decorated with everything you would want. The bedrooms had beautiful views overlooking the gardens & countryside beyond with comfortable beds & plenty of storage space. The bathrooms were beautifully done out with lovely showers. Loved the kitchen with the big dining table & it had a lovely old fashioned pantry. All very well stocked with good quality items. Nice comfortable lounge. Beautiful gardens, where we spent many happy hours relaxing. Good games room with dart board, table tennis etc & nice annexe room above. The hosts Carol & David were lovely, thank you for making your house such a great place to stay! Had a wonderful time, loved every minute & didn't want to leave.

An excellent 2 week holiday in an excellent property.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at this beautiful well-appointed house and made full use of the well-equipped large, sociable kitchen. A cosy property with outstanding views and external space, I imagine it would be equally as good as a winter break and we are hoping very much to return. The Most Beautiful Home away from home...
We booked this property for a family holiday for 8 people...including teenagers and dogs. We had the most amazing time and this home was nothing short of simply fabulous! There was nothing at all that hasn't been considered in terms of what you will need for your stay...everything and much more is provided. The decor is stunning and you immediately feel cosy and at home...like it gives you a hug as soon as you walk in. We will absolutely be returning :)

Stunning Cornish Home!
Spectacular house, outstanding views and is home filled with visual delights. My favourite house so far - we didn't want to leave. The accommodation and its fittings were excellent. Very large garden with southerly aspect ideal for the four children to play in while adults could relax on loungers or enjoy meals outside. The fifth bedroom over the games room ideal for the grandparents away from the rest of our party.

Family Vacation in beautiful Cornwall at Treviades Melyn
This beautifully, well maintained spacious house was simply perfect for our family vacation with our 4 teen/young adult children. The owners were very available for any request or inquiries we had such as the arrangement of beds as singles instead of doubles and shopping suggestions in the area. The views from the garden are spectacular of the Helford Passage, one of the most picturesque areas of Cornwall. The many comforts and beauty of Treviades Melyn have made for some great forever family memories.

Wonderful character property with so much space but perfect to spend time with family and small children. Great sized bedrooms with enormous beds! Nieces Wedding break at Treviades Melyn
We had a lovely time staying at Treviades Melyn. It was well equipped for our family group and the garden was lovely with plenty of room for garden games and a barbecue. The bedrooms and lounge were very comfy and the games room with darts and a table tennis table was well used. It was lovely to stay in a house that had all the seating, kitchen equipment and space for the 8 of us as some properties we have stayed at have fallen short of equipment and seating for the number of people stated. The ages in our party ranged from 30 to 64 and all have said they would definitely go back to Treviades Melyn if in the area again. Thank you Carol and David.

We came with our children and grandchildren as well as 4 springer spaniels to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time, and felt very welcome in the house. Family Easter Getaway
Treviades Melyn was perfect for our multi generational family holiday. It was beautifully presented and well equipped. The garden has a fabulous view and the large table and chairs meant we could all sit out to enjoy our barbecue. There are some great eateries nearby; Slice and the Potager. We had a wonderful holiday.

Perfect out of season break
What a great place to stay. The photos really don't do the house justice, particularly how light it felt even on a dull December day. The house is in a small hamlet but still very private. Very comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and amazing views. And our teenagers particularly appreciated the excellent table-tennis table and great TV! But the best bit was the booking and pre-arrival process. Carol really couldn't have been more helpful with very quick responses and all the information we could possibly need. Thank you.

David and Carol Cross are the lucky owners of Treviades Melyn. We currently live in Dorset, with 4 miniature dachshunds (arggghhhh) who love visiting Cornwall as much as we do.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

David went to school in Cornwall and his family live there, so when the opportunity arose of having our own place, we jumped at it. Even in its derelict state this building was magnificent. The renovation project was 2 years in the planning and building, but we recently finished in the summer of 2009. We've taken a huge amount of care in transforming this wonderful building into a comfortable home and are looking forward to making it our permanent home as soon as we can give up our day jobs. Until that time arrives, we'll share it with you.

We find the house and area very calming and relaxing. Looking out at the 180 degree view of fields and the Helford River you feel a million miles away from the bustle of every day life. But it's a very convenient location to reach civilization quickly. In the summer it's just wonderful to laze in the sun on the very private terrace, or go out on a boat on the river and explore the tiny coves. Equally in the winter, there's nothing better than lighting the log burner and settling down to a good film.
