Die Villa Marco ist eine wunderschöne Villa in einer ruhigen Wohngegend in der Nähe der Klippen mit Blick auf den Hafen in der Altstadt von Puerto del Carmen. Die Unterkunft besteht aus 2 Doppel- und 1 Zweibettzimmer. Die Master-Suite ist komplett vom Rest der Villa getrennt und verfügt über einen eigenen, verspiegelten Ankleidebereich und ein eigenes Badezimmer. Die Villa verfügt über einen beheizten 9 x 5 m großen Pool, der ausreichend Platz zum Schwimmen bietet. Der Essbereich bietet Platz für 6 Personen und verfügt über WLAN, Sat-TV, Video, Haartrockner und DVD-Player. Die Außenterrassen, die den ersten und letzten Sonnenstrahl einfangen, bieten reichlich Platz zum Sonnenbaden sowie schattige Bereiche für Mahlzeiten im Freien. Casa Marco ist voll alarmiert und hat einen Safe. Bei Bedarf stellen wir Ihnen kostenlos ein Kinderbett und einen Hochstuhl zur Verfügung. A very relaxing holiday

Just returned from a fantastic 12 days stay. The villa has great sized rooms and the bathrooms have fantastic showers. Since we were only 2 people, we had a lot of space, which should be enough for 6 people also. The pool is lovely as it is large enough to have a proper swim in and it gets the sun all day long. There is plenty of space around the pool and there are enough comfortable sunbeds. The villa is in a great, quiet location with a supermarket (Spar) just around the corner as well as bars and restaurants (e.g. Marios). It’s a short walk down into the harbour where are plenty of restaurants and pubs. The communication with Sonja, the owner, was perfect which made booking easy. Sonja is very friendly and helpful. We would like to stay here again.

The property is a delight. Its nicely decorated and well equiped. The pool is large and deep, able to have a proper swim. 15min walk to the charming Old Town with good restaurants and bars. Marios restaurant very good and is only 5 minute walk.

Exceptional

Well, what can I say….. Having been to Puerto del Carmen a few times over the last 10 years, this time we thought we’d try a villa. The whole booking process with Sonja was easy and straightforward, with her communication second to none and answering any queries I had instantly. When we arrived at the Villa it was better than we imagined, and actually bigger than on the photos. The pool is a great size and the kids loved it, no fighting for a sun bed as enough to go round for everyone. The cleanliness of the whole place is outstanding and there is so much room within the whole villa. The location of the villa is in an area we knew well, and it’s nice and quiet, but still close enough to everything with a short walk. I could go on praising this place all day, but just want to say thank you to Sonja for the use of her home. Highly recommend this villa.

Beautiful villa

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Marco, from the booking of the villa and outstanding communication with the owner Sonja to the lovely cleaner who did an amazing job by making it spotless when we arrived. The pool and outside area was such a bonus and we spent a lot of our time in the day there and played cards around one of the tables in the evening. Safety is excellent in this villa and we felt extremely safe here. We walked daily from the villa to the old harbour which is such a lovely scenic walk, with pubs and shops on the way too. Would highly recommend Casa Marco to anyone. Thank you Sonja.

Casa Marco

2 wonderful weeks at Casa Marco, it out did our expectations of a Villa holiday!! Great sized villa suitable for a family of 6 without feeling on top of each other. Outside area was spot on too with a great sized pool which is heated & Sonja recommended we cover it at night to keep the heat in. The communication we had with Sonja was excellent & we had the pleasure of meeting her one day when she popped into to see us, bringing a beautiful cheesecake as we were celebrating a couple of birthdays & a special anniversary. So very thoughtful of her to do this! The Villa is situated in a quiet residential area with the Montana Tropical within a 5 minute walk, with a couple of lovely bars & restaurants & a Spar. We however organised a food delivery through Mercadona supermarket & it was excellent, definitely recommend that. It was easy enough to walk into the Old town or even further into main strip, we always got a taxi back to save walking up hills & steps. We look forward to returning in the future, highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed!

Excellent Villa in a great location

Spacious three bedroom villa with massive pool and terrace area. Stayed here for six weeks and the villa had everything we wanted or needed. Five minute walk to the supermarket and four restaurants. Fifteen minutes easy walk into town and dozens more eateries. A great place to chill or as a base for touring the island. Sonja is the perfect hostess. Great communication, helpful and friendly. Thoroughly recommend this Villa, if we ever went back to Lanzarote we would definitely stay here again. Thank you Sonja

Fabulous Villa

We had a wonderful stay at the fabulous Villa Marco. This villa is located in a lovely quiet area with a Spar and a few restaurants a few minutes walk away. The villa is very spacious, bright and comfortable. There is a lovely outdoor area with a great sized pool. The pool was enjoyed by all. Sonja our host was very friendly and helpful. Sonja was in touch before our stay with details for our arrival and she dropped in to say hello during our stay. She immediately sorted a problem with the washing machine. We highly recommend Villa Marco.

Relaxing stay

Spent a very relaxing week at Casa Marco. All the facilities and amenities we needed. 3 teenage boys loved the fact they could get English TV channels and keep up to date with all the sport! Pool was a great size for a good swim and games. Definitely recommend covering pool at night to keep heat in - even in August. We enjoyed being on the edge of the town as was peaceful and a sense of space. But walking to harbour (and especially back!) not for the faint hearted due to the number of steps. We did the walk along coast to Puerto Calero with water bus back. Recommend a visit as some nice bars and restaurants lining the marina. Couple of meals out at Mario's nearby. Pizzas were lovely. We booked a table in advance for evening to ensure we could sit outside to make most of the views. Sonja was a great host. She regularly checked in with us and went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay.

Great holiday

We had a fabulous time staying at Villa Marco. A great Villa in a quiet location with good amenities. Such a relaxing holiday and we made the most of the swimming pool so much so we didn't want to leave. Lovely walks to the old harbour with stunning views. Maybe a struggle for some people on the way back as it is uphill, but don't let this put you off as a taxi was only 2.5 euros. Sadly we didn't get to meet our host Sonja, but she was always available if we had any questions and provided a lovely welcome pack for our arrival and checked to make sure everything was ok. Would highly recommend staying at this accommodation.

Nice comfortable villa in a quiet location. Lovely big pool and lots of outdoor seating. A short 10 minute walk takes you into the hub of the old town. It’s uphill on the way back which may not suit everyone but we found it ok. We walked to Puerto Calero along the coastline which takes around 25 mins from the villa where there are nice restaurants overlooking the marina. We got a water taxi back to Puerto del Carmen which was a nice way of seeing the coastline. Sonja as our host was very welcoming and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Well-appointed villa in a good location

We enjoyed our nine days at this comfortable and tastefully-furnished villa, despite an unusually wild and windy week with calima and a couple of days with some heavy rain! The location is exceptionally convenient in terms of access (by car) for exploring the whole island and its variety of scenic walks and visitor attractions. Likewise access to supermarkets and restaurants is within easy walking distance from the villa. Free parking space was available at all times on the road immediately outside and visible from the kitchen window. The outdoor garden area is lovely, with a beautiful, large, heated pool, which, in March, was a real bonus because it was never too cold! The pool is very clean, well-maintained, and equipped with an insulating cover for night-time. We would recommend Casa Marco as an excellent base for a holiday in Lanzarote. Thank you Sonja!

As nice as advertised

Had an excellent 10 nights ar Casa Marco. Messaged Sonya when we got into the villa and she popped over next day to introduce herself. Perfect location with Spar and numerous eating places about 3 minutes walk at Montana Tropical. We have been coming to Lanzarote for over 15 years and always pick villas with heated pools. This pool is one of the largest we have had and it was good to get a proper deep end for diving games retrieving sinking toys. In all my years this is the first time i have had a cleaner use a hoover in the villa. As soon as i returned home i checked to see if it was available in September but it looks booked up for my dates. Sonya is always a message away to address anything as required. Thankfully we had no reason to get in contact apart from being sociable from time to time. Will come back when dates align. Sell done Sonya, keep up the good work.

Fantastic location, really easy cab ride from airport. Walk to local shops and restaurants and nice stroll to coastal path with lovely views. Sonja was lovely and super helpful. House was well equipped, great newly refurbished bathrooms and fantastic pool and outside area.

Fabulous house in perfect spot

This is a great property in a lovely quiet spot on the edge of Puerto del Carmen. It is very comfortable and the pool is gorgeous. The communication with Sonja was excellent and she was very responsive- for example, it was a bit cool in the evenings the first week we were there and she provided us with a heater. It is within walking distance (5 minutes) of a small spar where you can get most of what you need, as well as a bar and a couple of restaurants (Mario’s is excellent). The marina is about a 15 minute walk and there are a host of bars and good restaurants there. We also walked to Puerto Calero a couple of times (around 30-35 minutes) where there is a very pretty marina and a lot of restaurants. Being on the edge of Puerto del Carmen it was very easy to get onto the main road system for visiting everywhere else on the island. We hope to be back again soon if Sonja will have us!

Lovely villa in a peaceful location

We have just returned from a week staying at Villa Marcos. It is a really lovely villa that sleeps 6 comfortably. It is really clean and looked after. The heated pool area is nice with loungers and seating. The location is perfect, with just a few minutes walk down to the port area where there are several lovely restaurants and bars. Sonja is really nice and is quick to respond with all communications. We would definitely like to return in the future.

Villa Marco 👌

Villa Marco was lovely. We stayed from 17th - 24th December 2021. Sonja was a very good host and helped us immediately with any problems. The only one we had was the pool being a little cold when we got there. The villa is a short walk to the harbour and about 20mins walk into Puerto Del Carmen. We also did the coastal walk into Puerto Calero which the villa is perfectly situated for. The outside space is great with loads of places to sit and it’s south facing so has the sun all day. I would recommend staying here. There was a lovely selection of welcome goodies when we got there too.

Perfect!

This Villa simply perfect, it had everything we wanted and needed. Great location just above the old town harbour, with local bars and supermarkets all within a few minutes walk. Sonya was fantastic throughout, gave us all the info we needed ahead of arrival, really important given the restrictions. The starter items left in the apartment to get us going we’re gratefully received, thankyou. We look forward to staying again.

January warmth

Good communication with the owner from beginning to the end. If there's anything you need to improve your stay, don't hesitate to contact Sonja she will do her utmost to help. The property is in a quiet residential area and is a 15 minute walk along a promenade to the old harbour where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Be aware that this is downhill and you have to walk back up again. Mario's restaurant is very close and serves good basic food at a reasonable price. It was wonderful having a warm pool for swimming; so many pools in Lanzarote are not heated enough in the winter.

Just back home from a wonderful week staying here. Nice big rooms and a good sized pool. Would definitely recommended staying here

My husband, son and I moved to Lanzarote from Surrey 32 years ago after we fell in love with the island on our first ever visit. We bought our first house in that week and decided to make it our home. I can honestly say that I am more in love with Lanzarote as the years have past than I was at the beginning. We lived in Casa Marco for 10 years but moved to a smaller property when my son left to go to University in London. Casa Marco is so close to the sea and we enjoyed fabulous walks on the cliffs along the coast to Puerto Calero and down to the old town. I trained as a fashion designer and illustrator and am now part of an open water swim club that meet three times a week in the sea off Playa Grande in Puerto del Carmen.

Casa Marco was in a small development that was built on the edge of rustic land. We used to open the gates and the dogs and my son could run free in the countryside. It was in a great position for walks and to scramble down the rocks to the sea to swim.

I love the shape of the house which protects from the wind and the terraces that capture the first and the last rays of the sun and of course the size of the pool. My husband was determined to build a pool that would allow him to have a proper swim.
