Peaceful and lovely

We stayed for one week in Steve's Villa. Communication with the owner and Sue, the responsible agent, was very good. Sue was helpful and friendly and responded to any question we had. Check-In was easy and the house was in very clean condition. The house itself is in a peaceful and quiet area. Since we have three children we had enough space and bedrooms. There were enough towels and even towels for the swimming pool. There was enough space in the room to store the belongings. A few more hooks in the bathroom would have been helpful, but that's complaining on a high level. Thank you, Steve and Sue, for being such great hosts, we wish you all the best and keep the place in a peaceful memory. Martina and family

Awesome stay in a great villa

We had just a great time at this villa, the kids were in the pool for hours every day and also had fun playing in the separate beautiful volcanic-island style garden. Everything we needed was there and I must say this place is much abvove Spanish standard + in a quiet neigbhourhood whilst beeing only a 5min drive from all the restaurants in Playa Blanca. The house additionally features some nice entertainment options like a DVD Player and an Xbox 360 for the evenings. Various nice hikes and the Timanfaya NP are within 10-20min of driving and a definitive must are the Papagaya beaches just 10min drive plus some walking.

Perfect villa

Honestly this villa is perfect in every way. The location is great, just a 15 minute walk into town. The villa is spacious inside and out, with the sun in the garden all day. The pool is the perfect size. Honestly we couldn’t have asked for a better place to call home for a week and I very much hope that we’ll be back.

Fantastic

Terrific villa in a nice quiet residential area. There was everything you need for your holiday If I were to be hyper critical it we be that the information pack left by the management company does not really tell yoiu much about the local surroundings. We were 3 days in before we found a small supermarket only a few minutes walk away. We had been walking 15 mins to the town before that. The only other thing to nit pick was the lack of grills for the BBQ These did not stop us enjoying the holiday and I would and will not hesitate in booking this villa again as soon as I can

The villa was a perfect retreat to relax and unwind perfectly presented and spotlessly clean

First visit to this fabulous villa beautifully maintained with a lovely choice of interior/exterior style. The villa offers everything you should need for a fabulous holiday well equipt kitchen lovely fluffy big shower towels . We particularly liked the pool a south facing sun trap with a Jamie Oliver style bbq it was hard to drag ourselves away . Another added bonus for us off road private gated parking .

Great House with issues

The question that sums up our experience is; Would we recommend this house to family / friends. The answer is yes.... but with caveats. The house is in reasonable order and has most things you may need. Good TV and channels which is a bonus. It is only 10-15 mins walk to the town centre and 5 minutes walk to nearest bar / shop. Caveats; A neighbour at rear has two large dogs which are left out all day and some nights and 'never' stop barking. I have a neighbour like this at home so it was a real disappointment when we arrived very late at night, fell into bed only to have to listen to the din of these dogs all night.. If you don't like 'very' loud barking dogs this is not the holiday home for you!. A more minor point but was very disappointing was how dirty the sun bed cushion covers were. They were filthy and covered in the sun oil of previous less considerate guests. We paid £50 for the pool to be electrically heated, warmer apparently than the normal solar. Our hols commenced on the Sat but the pool was not heated as requested until the pool man arrived on the Tuesday. By the way the management company is fantastic and will respond in minutes to any concerns. Notwithstanding the dogs a bit of attention to detail and this could be a much better experience but overall good value.

loved everything about the place its quirky style was right up my street

everything You need is there, despite no air-con It didnt feel too hot at night, so it was fine. i would come back again for sure. i was worried it was too far to travel the island but it only took an hour to drive from the villa to the other end. lovely and private. skinny dipped all week. only thing i could whinge about was the pool man who was leaving as i first arrived, said he was topping up the pool and would be back later, the pool had a bit of sandy dust on the bottom. at midnight i put the hose away myself and he never did come back. all in all though a great villa

Lovely villa with everything you could want.

Very thoughtful owners as the villa was furnished with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We have stayed in many villas before and were impressed by them leaving the odd essentials such as washing powder, matches, condiments, oil etc. The Villa was lovely inside and out and well looked after. Very quiet area but easily within walking distance of the shops and restaurants. It took us 15 mins to stroll to the edge of the town. We had the pool heated and enjoyed being able to swim in the mornings. In the afternoon the pool was 30 degrees! The garden had some lovely plants back and front. It had been mentioned that there was a dog nearby that barked a lot but although we heard it occasionally it certainly was not a bother. A lovely villa which we would return to if coming back to Lanzarote and we will definitely recommend it to others.

Very happy with our week's holiday at Casa dos Estrellas. The Villa is comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. The pool is fantastic and the electric heating was well worth the extra cost at this time of year, so the children could be in and out of the pool all day long. A lovely relaxing holiday in a beautiful spot with great weather! Thank you

Beautiful villa

I love this villa. It has a unique character and is the perfect place to stay for peaceful rest and to unwind in a very quiet area while still being convenient for the centre of Playa Blanca - about 10 minutes easy walk. The villa is spacious, clean and well-kept and has everything you would need including a well-equipped kitchen. The pool is a good size and gets sunshine all day. I have stayed more than once, and always found the owners helpful when needed, and this year it was a new local management team who were responsive and helpful without being intrusive. I recommend this villa and will definitely go back again myself.

Perfect for a family holiday!

We have just left this villa and have had a totally relaxing two weeks there with our three children. (11,9 and 7) The site is extremely quiet and private and we all really enjoyed spending time in and around the pool. (The pool was a very pleasant temperature as long as the cover was used every evening and removed in the mornings.) The pool area is gorgeous with beautiful flowerbeds and plants to enjoy. We ate our breakfast and lunch outside every day and headed out most evenings to the many restaurants that are in walking distance of this villa. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was a pleasure to cook in. Ants were an issue but having stayed in five different Lanzarote properties in recent years we are well used to dealing with them! We desperately needed our batteries recharged this summer and feel that time spent in this restful holiday home was just what our family needed. The villa felt like a home rather than a holiday rental. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and in a superb location. We definitely will be back. The front garden and patio area- with mountain view- was an unexpected bonus too! Gail was always in contact by email or text to answer questions and this was very much appreciated. J Denvir

Won't be going back 🙁 !

When we first arrived we thought what a lovely place ! Day 2 and we realised that the pool was not heated in fact the pool was freezing and unusable also had a leak and over 3 days dropped approx 12" , 2 of the filters were not even working, over night the neighbors had cut down shrubbery that had grown over the wall and thrown it all back over the wall creating a lot of mess some of which went in the pool, messaged the local contact who just sent the pool guy to clear pool, which we had already done , he swept all the mess into a heap behind the water fountain and that's where it stayed ! The dishwasher was out of action and looked like it had been for sometime. The toilet flush button was broken, we had to throw away food that was in kitchen cupboard as all covered in little ant like bugs everything had to be put in fridge of microwave as sides were covered with them even though I sprayed around with bug killer. We emailed the owner but as yet have not had any response. We will not be returning or recommending to friends or relatives we have had a few villas in playa blanca and this is the only one we felt we had to write a bad review about .
