Perfekt für Familientreffen und Beisammensein! Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad, die von den Eltern / Großeltern verwendet werden könnten und dann 2 weitere Queen-Schlafzimmer und ein Schlafraum, die alle dies 2 Bäder. Die Bodengruppe ist sehr familienfreundlich und nett und offen. Genießen Sie einen der schönsten Strände in Südkalifornien nur wenige Schritte von den vorderen Türen, entspannen auf dem Balkon und genießen Sie einen dramatischen Sonnenuntergang die ganze Zeit eine seltene privaten Garten genießen. Dieses Haus hat einen großen Garten vor, die von so nah am Strand ist unerhört. Sie erhalten wirklich das Beste aus beiden Welten gegenüber vom Strand zu sein, doch selten Privatsphäre der Strandhäuser haben.

Dieses Haus wurde komplett im Jahr 2015 nachgearbeitet. Alle Oberflächen sind neu. Die Matratzen sind alle Top-Modell der Memory-Schaum, eingehüllt und dann mit luxuriöser Bettwäsche ausgestattet. Das Haus ist mit einem sauberen, glatten Strand Thema professionell gestaltet. Die im Obergeschoss Badezimmer sind modern mit Glas Fliesen Duschen und High-End-Armaturen.

Hören Sie sich die Wellen brechen, wie der Ozean Sie wiegt, nachts zu schlafen. Beobachten Sie Ihre Kinder Volleyball auf den Sandplätzen direkt aus dem Komfort von Ihrem Balkon spielen oder ein Familienessen in einem privaten Hof Ambiente. Dies ist einer der engsten Heimat zu Moonlight Beach und man kann in wenigen Sekunden zu Fuß zum Strand und Wildwasserblick von jedem Zimmer im Obergeschoss und auf dem Balkon genießen.

Downtown Encinitas ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt mit trendigen Geschäften, preisgekrönten Restaurants und einem kleinen Strand Atmosphäre mit dem passenden Menge Nachtleben. Hop auf dem Coaster Zug und fahren nach San Diego nach unten oder oben nach Santa Barbara. Es gibt wirklich keine Notwendigkeit für ein Auto, aber das Haus hat einen Parkplatz für 2-3 Fahrzeuge.

Moonlight Beach ist eine große Einheimischen Strand mit einem typischen südkalifornischen Strandgefühl. Es gibt eine Promenade, Feuerstellen, Snackbar am Strand, schöne öffentliche Toiletten, Strandhäuser und ein neu Kinderspielplatz errichtet. Es hat wirklich für jeden etwas dabei!

Great location!

Amazing location and a ton of space for a big extended family. House was in mediocre condition, used pretty hard. Seemed not super clean and didn’t have some of the things you would hope for in a more expensive rental home, like full shampoos in the showers, batteries in the remotes, etc. But again, can’t beat the location and lots of sleeping areas. Overall great week!

Nice, large home right next to Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. Plenty of room for our large family, well-stocked kitchen, ample beach supplies, and Rebecca makes everything very easy. This is our second time staying here, and we are definitely planning on a third.

Wonderful stay!

We stayed 4 nights for my daughter's wedding which was very close to this house. There was plenty of room for 10 adults and the view of moonlight beach was fantastic from the living room. There is a lovely garden area as well with plenty of parking for 3 cars. The property manager was so easy to communicate with and we appreciated her prompt responses and assistance! Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely home!

We had 5 couples celebrating our 60th birthdays. The location is amazing. You can walk to everything. We enjoyed cooking in as well as going out. The house was definitely as advertised. Rebecca was a great host.

Fantastic location

We really enjoyed our stay! The property was clean and very cozy. The views are gorgeous. We enjoyed the little garden with roses and the fenced yard. The location is perfect, right next to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. The parking lot is very big, we easily fit 4 cars on it. We look forward to coming back next year!

We love the location, being that close to the beach is a real plus!

The house was perfect for us. We were 9 adults and 4 kids, ages from 3 to 75! It’s an easy walk to town (especially good ice cream place close by), easy drive to botanic gardens, legoland, grocery stores, train station, sweet little town. Perfect place for a vacation! Thanks Rebecca for having us.

Great home, great location

Perfect home for an extended family vacation, from people aged 2-80. Ocean views, beautiful beach feet away, terrific playground, and town 2 blocks away. Most of us stayed local, but also an easy drive to San Diego. The host was very responsive, the home is new, warm and very comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Moonlight beach treasure

Wonderful home for family gathering. Beautiful location with space for big group hangs and private conversations. Striking views of the beach and ocean which are just steps away from home. Cozy fenced green yard with blooming roses was an additional space for us too. This home is walking distance to downtown breweries, coffee shops, pizza and shopping. We had so much fun - highly recommend!

Our stay here was a great experience, The home was so clean and beautiful with ocean views. The yard was also lovely with plenty of room to sit outside in privacy. There was ample parking and it was so peaceful in the neighborhood. The beach right across the street added to the quality of the experience, in addition to it being within walking distance of shops, etc. Interacting with our host was also a positive experience. She was prompt and welcoming, allowing us to check in earlier, which was a great benefit after my guests had traveled far to get here. I would not hesitate to rent this lovely home.

Location was great!

Great location but amenities could've been better. Ants in kitchen drawers and on counter. Only one dishtowel, no facial tissue in entire place and could've used more towels. No top sheet on one of the beds. But location couldn't have been better. Loved walking to the beach and the park. Also, having parking was great.

Beach Perfect

Our family of 9, ages 3-85, enjoyed this perfect beach home. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The home had enough supplies (paper towels, toilet paper etc) for our entire stay. The yard was an amazing added bonus and included yard games, and beach toys. We could have left our beach towels home - they were included! Literally steps to the sand and a playground across the street. We were there on a holiday weekend and although the beach was busy, we were surprised how quiet the home was. We were able to park 4 vehicles easily on the driveway. We would definitely rent this home again. Thank you Rebecca for your prompt response to a question we had.

Perfect Location, Close Beach, & Plenty of parking

Glad to have found this property for our family vacation. Overall it was a success! Pros: Close Beach, close to children's playground, lots of beach toys, wagon, chairs etc. Propane BBQ, Parked 3 cars 1 truck easily, plenty of room for 10 adults & 3 kids, close to restaurants and shopping, easy on/off freeway, 5 bathrooms, stocked kitchen utensils etc, beautiful view of beach, attached bungalow is great get away for a couple, great fenced in grass yard for little ones to play on, A/C, nice staff, right by a cool little painted rock garden, easy check in/out. Upstairs nice clean updated feeling to it. Cons: Property to the north has bad water leak that saturates the driveway and is very slippery. They do have mats placed down to help from slipping. Entire house slopes south, internet is very very weak, bad cell reception too. House was a little dirty upon arrival (sand on floors, understandable). Downstairs has musty smell. Furnace downstairs is always running to move air round house, very loud for those sleeping downstairs. Even with A/C and fan upstairs bedroom facing beach gets very warm in the afternoon. Overall, a great place and great stay. We had a great time! Still giving 5 stars.

Great location Disappointed by noisy constructions and insects (maybe termite)

This was our first VRBO experience. The location was fantastic the house was very roomy as described. The host was flexible in allowing us to do early check in and later check out. However, the construction on the next door house and the noisy work that was going on in the house at the back (which started at 7 am) really took a lot of our enjoyment away. I wish these were disclosed. In addition, the downstairs was not cleaned properly and we started seeing a lot of insects (termite). we provided the host with a picture. I truly believe we should get some credit back, because we could not really enjoy our stay as much as we could. Having said that if the above issues be taken care of we would go there again as we liked the location and the house itself.

Owner not being forthcoming about the construction going and lack of AC.

The house itself is nice, it needs some upkeep maintenance, faucet in bungalow very loose, 3 kitchen garbage bags for the week, 1 roll of paper towel, no laundry soap provided, minimal towels for bathrooms. But the real issue is how the house is advertised and what the owner is not disclosing to renters. The first issue was the major construction taking place immediately next door and the owners choice to not disclose it so people can select a different house to stay. At 6:45am every weekday the construction crews came, we could not enjoy the patio facing the beach during the morning or day because of the crews and very loud construction work. There was a concrete truck there the first Monday morning working all day. The next day a 60’ crane came moving huge steel beams. Kids couldn’t play in the yard because of the safety risk. The work went on every week day while we were there. Rebecca gave us a small discount back after we complained but this project is long lasting and she’s well aware of it, but doesn’t disclose the situation to unsuspecting renters. So beware! In addition, the house is listed as having AC. It was the 3rd week in July and the heat and humidity was high. We then discovered that the air only works in the main living area upstairs. None of the rooms downstairs had air. One room had no windows. The ones with windows couldn’t be open at night because kids were staying in those rooms and we were concerned about safety. The situation upstairs was bad because the second “master bedroom” has no venting at all, it was an add-on. So to cool the room you needed to open the windows and use a small fan in the corner. In addition, the fire pits at the beach had lots of smoke that was then pulled into the room every night while we slept. After a week of inhaling the smoke, we finally decided the second to the last night we had had enough and left a day early. Out of 6 bedrooms in the house only 1 actually had operating AC. Not at all what is being advertised. Rebecca said when we questioned why the air didn’t seem to be working, that “many houses in San Diego don’t have AC”. She also offered to bring fans if that would help. She had her handy man drop off 4 brand new fans on the porch in their boxes for us to put together on our vacation?! I have rented in SD area for 15 yrs this feels like I missed the opportunity to really enjoy my vacation this year! Disappointing!!

Fantastic Beach House for Family Vacation

Our family of ten, ranging in age from 9 to 75, had a great time at Rebecca's Moonlight Cottage in Encinitas. There was plenty of space for everyone - the kitchen, living room, bedrooms, balcony were all great. The fantastic Moonlight Beach is just right out the front door and restaurants, coffee shops, pubs are just a short walk away. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Can't wait to return next summer.
