With its central position in the National Park, the LakeFairy cabin is close to the touristic hotspots: to the main Lake Kozjak it takes ca. 15 minutes walk, to the Big Waterfall ca. 20 minutes and to the spring of "Plitvica" stream ca. 45 minutes. At the same time, the chalet offers privacy because it is positioned off the main village road (2 min.). There is a lovely terrace overlooking the forest woods . Two fireplaces are at your disposal if you want some extra romance in the evenings :-)

Dear friends, I would like to welcome you to this little, secluded cabin which has a very special place in my heart. I spent most of my childhood - winters as well as summers in Plitvice. I learned to explore flora and fauna and appreciate the overwhelming beauty of nature in Plitvice. Last summer, while enjoying my first morning coffee on the terrace, I spotted a mother deer with her two babies making their way through the garden deeper into the woods! If you are searching for a place to relax, immerse all your senses into the nature - its colours, sounds and smells, then Lake Fairy is the right place for you :-)

Hello, my name is Iskra and I am a Bosnian-born psychologist. Already since my early childhood, I loved spending our family weekends at our little cabin which we lovingly called "LakeFairy". I inherited LakeFairy and use it now with my own family. However, since we're only able to sporadically visit Lake Fairy, my husband and I decided to put this lovely cabin on this booking platform and open it to likeminded people to enjoy this unique little treasure in the forest. Our friends, who live close by LakeFairy, are going to represent us and be your hosts in Plitvice. They are also deeply rooted in Plitvice and are dear, wonderful friends. We are certain that you will be very well taken care of, making sure your trip to Plitvice and your stay in LakeFairy will be memorable :-)

Our Cabin is in the village of Plitvice (inside the park). There are three restaurants within walking distance (+/- 1 km). As for breakfast, it’s available at a surcharge two (2) walking minutes away at our neighbor’s house. Furthermore, he also offers guided tours. In case you’re interested, we will gladly provide you his contact details upon request and kindly ask you to contact him directly prior to your arrival to arrange the details.

The Cabin doesn’t have an AC, however it’s always very cool / fresh inside, no matter the outside temperature. That’s why we have warm blankets for the evenings... we recommend to bring / wear sweaters in the evening. Hope this helps :-)
