Hale Anuenue (House of Rainbows) ist eine große, voll ausgestattete Studio / Wohnanlage auf dem Prince Golf Course (derzeit nicht im Einsatz, es ist wie ein großer Garten) und einem Wanderweg hinunter zum Anini Beach. Es hat gerade eine große Aktualisierung unterzogen und bietet eine voll ausgestattete Küche, Waschmaschine / Trockner, Queen-Size-Bett, Wi-Fi, HDTV (Smart TV), ein Vollbad, Liegestühle, Schnorchelausrüstung und Kühler. Die große Veranda eignet sich perfekt zum Beobachten von Sternen oder einfach zum Lesen im Freien. Es gibt reservierte Parkplätze, einen tollen Poolbereich mit einem gemeinsamen Grillplatz und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Das Princeville in Hanalei liegt günstig in der Nähe von Kilauea, Hanalei und den zahlreichen Stränden und Annehmlichkeiten von Kauais North Shore. Tolle Unterkunft, super Lage

Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen und die Beschreibung des Vermieters ist top. Wir hatten alles was wir für unseren Aufenthalt gebraucht haben. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und auch im Bad waren Shampoo und Conditioner vorhanden. Wirklich klasse. Für den Strandausflug gibt es eine große Kühlbox (Icepacks befinden sich im Frost), Sonnenschirm und "leider" nur einen Liegestuhl;) ein zweiter für den Partner wäre schon top gewesen. Das einzige was etwas störend war, waren die vielen Fliegen und Ameisen, da müsste etwas gegen getan werden, wir haben uns damit arrangiert und konnten damit leben. Alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt und absolut weiter zu empfehlen.

Sehr schöner Urlaub

Mein Mann und ich waren in Paniolo für 10 Tage und fanden es sehr komfortabel. Das Studio Layout ist großzügig und die Küche war rmit allem ausgerüstet was man zum Kochen braucht. Die Anlage liegt in der Nähe von Restaurants, Supermarkten und der wunderschöne Strand "Anini Beach" ist fußläufig erreichbar (auf dem Rückweg muss man den Berg hoch gehen). Der Besitzer war in jeder Hinsicht sehr hilfreich. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und freuen uns schon auf ein nächstes Mal!

North Shore getaway

Very nice condo with all we needed for our stay in Princeville. Loved having the windows open at night to catch the evening breeze. Walking distance to several restaurants, market and Anini Beach. Nice home base to do all the activities on the North Shore.

North Shore Kauai

The unit is exactly as shown in the listing. Very spacious for two adults, in a convenient location for exploring Kauai's north shore. The modern kitchen is very well equipped. Beach and snorkeling gear were provided along with a very helpful guide to area beaches and trails. No AC but fans and good cross ventilation kept us comfortable. Contact with owner was easy. Will stay here again!

Beautiful Hanalei Bay

Our stay at Rick’s place was a real treat, exceeding our expectation. Very well furnished, even providing a cooler that kept our lunch cool for our daily trips around the island (also chairs, umbrella, snorkeling stuff). Communication with our host was responsive and thoughtful. Nice quiet location with porch overlooking golf course and walking path. He even provided Dr. Bronner’s soap for the shower (you have to be a Dr. B fan to get that!)Thank you, Rick!

The Best Host We Have Encountered on VRBO

Rick is an incredible host and exceeded any communication expectations. Because of a glitch in VRBO’s system, we were not able to stay at his property when we initially anticipated, however because of this glitch Rick went above and beyond to make our experience with him the best it could be. Tropical escape

Perfectly situated in a quiet area surrounded by tropical plants and scenery. Fully stocked with any you may need. Had i read to the back of the welcome binder i would have known there was also snorkeling gear.Thank you Rick!

Affordable luxury on Kauai

Lovely property/extremely well maintained. Clean and well equipped. Nicely maintained grounds and pool. Condo is close to a food market, restaurants, ect. Its a four min drive/or a leisurely path walk to the beach. Who could ask for more?

Fantastic and comfortable tropic spot.

We had a wonderful stay in Princeville. Neighbors were very friendly and the spot was quiet except for a few roosters screaming morning announcements. The rental was very well equipped and clean. We appreciated the clear instructions, laundry option and beach gear. No AC but adequate ventilation and fans to make everything comfortable. Bed was nice and the porch offered a beautiful peaceful morning nook with a little view onto the golf course. Still felt private. Some noise from upstairs neighbors but nothing distracting or during odd hours.

Great Location and Enjoyable Stay!

My wife Nikki and I stayed at this property for a week and loved the setup of the place. The owner was very responsive to questions and very friendly. Air conditioning was the only thing I feel would make the stay even more enjoyable, but it is understandable due to the high coat of electricity in Kauai. Would recommend 100%!

Great location with everything we needed.

Rick has done a great job setting up a beautiful stay. We had everything we needed. We took the trail (starting close to the back porch) which leads all the way down to Wylie/Annini beach a few times. It's a bit of a hill but it's a very nice shaded walk with beautiful trees along the way. Some people have mentioned about the hot water in the shower running out...that is to be expected, just don't take VERY long showers and space them out as a couple and you'll be fine. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the mornings...it's very pleasant.

Exceptional stay

We absolutely loved our visit at this apartment. It was incredibly well equipped with everything we could imagine that we would need for our stay - we especially appreciated the coffee machine, the washing machine/dryer, the snorkeling gear, the dishwasher, the relaxing porch, Scrabble, and the well stocked bathroom. The location is also so close to so many wonderful and useful places: Foodland, Farmers Market, beaches, wonderful local towns, ice cream, and so much more. The house had such an adorable, local, and relaxing feel. We felt instantly at home and did not want to leave. We would happily return!

Wonderful Little Apartment

My husband and I had a fantastic time staying at this apartment! It was in a quiet area (minus the chickens in the morning), but close enough that it was just a quick trip to Lihue or Hanalei. The kitchen was fully stocked with pans, plates, and anything you need to make meals - which we took advantage of. Communication with Rick was quick and easy. I know other reviews mention the lack of A/C - as long as you keep the windows open for airflow and turn the ceiling fan on, you will sleep great! Similar to the West Coast of the U.S., most of the island doesn't have A/C unless you are staying in a hotel.

Comfy little condo

Overall this was a very nice place to stay. The closest beach is a steep walk down a hill but it wasn't very hard to get to and it was lovely to be at. Roosters will wake you up at dawn but I think that is just a feature of the island. My only complaints were the lack of air conditioning, which leaves the house feeling and smelling a little moist. Also, the walls are thin and you can hear the neighbors cough and sneeze through the walls. Overall it was worth the price and a good value.

Wonderful private getaway!

This unit was nearly perfect for our stay. The unit is in a secluded and quiet area. All the amenities were a great addition, such as a kitchen, in-unit laundry, and even beach chairs and snorkels. The only cons were the lack of A/C. There were a lot of fans but it still didnt feel comfortable to sleep at night with the heat. The shower also runs out of hof water by the time a second person is halfway thru their shower, so you have to shower quickly. Overall, we did really enjoy our stay here and would come again!

Ideal spot

Just a terrific stay in Princeville and our stay in Rick's place was a big reason why. Clean, comfortable, cool, ideally located near major beaches--the listing for the property and the photos are completely accurate. Bed, shower, kitchen all first rate. Easy communication with host. Could have been better overall.

I traveled much of the world and found myself on Kauai in 1979. I knew the minute I arrived that I was home. I continued to vacation on Kauai yearly and finally decided to move to Kauai full time in 1986. I moved to the mainland in 2010 to explore the U.S., but It wasn't long before I realized that there's no place like Kauai and I came back "home".

Paniolo offers a great, quiet location fronting on the Prince Golf Course and amenities such as an on-site pool, a trail down to Anini Beach and the convenience of being just minutes away from world class beaches, numerous outdoor activities, shopping, a library and park.
