In diesem 2017 erbauten Haus blicken Sie auf den schönen Mississippi. Es ist 15 Minuten von La Crosse WI entfernt. Es liegt 1,6 km von einem Bootsanleger und etwa 5 km von einem öffentlichen Bootsanleger entfernt, dem Wild Cat Campground. In dieser Gegend leben Weißwedelhirsche, wilde Truthähne, Barsche, Hechte, Zander und verschiedene Panfische. Unser Haus liegt direkt am Mississippi River Trail für Radfahrer. (Nur im Sommer verfügbar.) Es gibt Platz für Ihr Boot und einen Stromanschluss im Freien, um es aufzuladen. Platz für 6 Personen in Betten und mehr, wenn Sie eine Luftmatratze mitbringen oder auf Sofas schlafen möchten. Mieten Sie, falls verfügbar, auch ein Apartment und es stehen zwei weitere Queensize-Betten in derselben Wohnung zur Verfügung.

Unser Haus liegt am Mississippi Pool 8. Es gibt viele lokale und Major League (Bass Master Elite, Bass Master Open und Major League Fishing) Angelturniere in diesem Pool. Wenn Sie gern Zander, Hecht oder Pfanne angeln, ist dies auch hier möglich.

Amazing house and location!

We rented this home for family weekend at University of Wisconsin La Crosse and it was a great location! The home was very clean and beautiful! Paula was wonderful to work with and responded quickly to any questions! We will definitely stay here again!

Lovely stay at top property

Went to La Crosse for a bike race. This home has everything we needed including laundry for race clothes! Beautiful view of the Mississippi River! Property owner responded promptly to any questions. Would stay there again.

Beautiful home in a great location

We came for an event in LaCrosse - it was a quick and easy 20 minute drive - perfect! The home has everything you can think of - and very comfortable beds! The directions for getting in are really easy and Paula was super responsive and great to work with. I’d recommend staying here again - it’d be perfect for a girls trip The views of the river are stunning!!

Great home on the Mississippi

This was a very nice home fronting the Mississippi. It had plenty of room for our family of 5 and we were only a few minutes from a local boat launch and a short drive to LaCrosse. The cookies were also a very nice touch.

Perfect Accomodations

We loved this space for our weekend! The house is super clean, very spacious, and had absolutely everything we needed. The host was so friendly and super responsive when I thanked her upon arrival. The pictures don’t do it justice, the view was lovely. I highly recommend!

Glorious Views of the Mississippi

If we could give this rental 10 gold stars we would! Home is clean and spacious, parking was perfect for our boat as well. Homeowners were by far the best part of the whole week long experience. Certainly going to visit with them again!! We will definitely stay here again.

Great time at Auggie’s home on the Mississippi River. Great location, clean, and great home to stay with family. Only thing I’d mention is there are family pictures all over of which I understand it’s a family home, but yet a little awkward. Easy use lock and entrance and plenty of room to park with vehicles/boats.

Beautiful view and beautiful house

Very comfortable and clean! After a couple days of walking around, it was nice for each of us to have a chair to relax in, recline and lift our feet up! From the living room, we also saw several of the large Mississippi Riverboats go by all lit up.

Spacious with a great view

A friend and I had a long girl's weekend. This was an ideal location and home. We had way more room than we needed, but wanted to stay here for the view. The house was clean and very nice. The view was awesome. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Living room had plenty of seating. Paula was an excellent host. Very responsive and friendly…and she makes excellent cookies! 😋 Thank you for sharing your home with us.

LaCross Trip

The house itself was just stunning and very spacious. It was a very comfortable stay. Road noise was a bit of a problem as we are very sensitive to that. We could not find an access to the river which we would have enjoyed. We did like the access to other towns we wanted to visit.

Perfect lication with a fantastic view !

Auggie's home is absolutely beautiful! We love the area so much we brought our parents and other family with us on our anniversary trip. The home was very spacious and decor is comfortable and relaxing. We brought fishing boats with us and there was plenty of room to maneuver and park. We also booked a fishing charter and the boat launch is only a mile away. We will definitely be back again. Our family thanks you!

Lacrosse Getaway

Wanted to see the area. It was beautiful.. Because it was a Music Fest weekend many of the restaurants were already booked that was disappointing. If we had one complaint about the facility it would be there was no place to hike around it. The home is beautiful thank you for letting us stay..

This home is SO nice, has an amazing view, and you couldn’t ask for better property owners. We stayed at Auggie’s for a week during the MLF High School Bass Fishing Nationals and couldn’t ask for more. Paula and her husband are the nicest people and even joined us for supper a few evenings and enjoyed some southern cooking. If we make this 18 hour trip again we will definitely choose their home. Super clean, comfy beds, and every amenity one may need! We couldn’t have been more pleased!

Amazing location

House was very nice and clean. Sits up off the Highway looking over the Mississippi River. Huge windows in the living room with an amazing view of the river. Some type of curtains would have been nice for a little privacy, but they’re so large I don’t think you could really put any on them. But wasn’t that big of a deal. First time staying on the Minnesota portion of the river and it’s just as awesome of an area as the Iowa and Wisconsin areas of the river. And I also have to include a comment about the best cookies I think I ever had that were there waiting for us when we arrived. Don’t tell my mother I said that though. And the tabletops that they made are truly unbelievable pieces of craftsmanship. Thanks for letting us stay.

We built our house in 2017, but during the summer time, we live at our boathouse a mile away. We have hosted a rental apartment above the garage out of our home for a year now and it has been a wonderful experience. As there is so few options for out-of-towners, we decided to also open our main home to renters during the summer.

We actually built this house. Our 3 children were grown and gone, so we no longer felt the need to stay in our hometown. As we lived in Brownsville during summer at our BH and loved it, we bought the lot we built on in 2015. We took that fall and the next summer to clear the area around it to protect the future house from falling trees and opened up the view. Our plans included a bonus room above the garage, but we were going to leave it empty for the next homeowners. My husband got the idea that we should run a vacation rental unit out of it, so we decided to finish it ourselves and have been in business since the summer of 2018.

This house has private quarters and during summer, access to the full house, minus the master suite. It overlooks the beautiful Mississippi River and is close to LaCrosse WI, only 15 minutes away. Both the house and the apartment have a feeling of home. They have what you need to live comfortably and connected with close access to a bigger city's options, should you want more than the quiet, small river town has to offer.
