Beautiful and fun year-round!
Beautiful house! It was perfect for our group of 9 friends. We had an amazing time and all agreed we'll have to go back.
It looks like there have been some recent updates to the house so the pictures are not exact but any differences are improvements. For example, the sun room now has a much larger round table than the one pictured so it serves as another dining room option (a nice option year-round despite weather conditions) and the extra room/office has a bed rather than a pull-out couch so it can serve as a 6th bedroom.
We were there mid-winter so didn't get to enjoy what looks like an amazing pool but had a great time nonetheless. We were only there for a weekend and spent much of our time exploring but there's plenty to do inside in the winter as well: fireplace, basement with pool table and screening area, hot tub, sonos sound system throughout the house, gourmet kitchen.
The ferry in either direction is only about a 10 min ride making it easy to enjoy The Hamptons to the south or the many beautiful vineyards on the North Fork.
The owner was very nice and checked in regularly to make sure all was well and was very responsive when we had questions. The house is also incredibly clean and kept clutter-free (empty closets, dressers, etc) which would make it very easy to settle in for a longer stay.
