Perfect little getaway

This is our second time visiting the cabin and it was just a nice as we remembered.. Had a few days of rain but we relaxed on the porch and enjoyed the fresh mountain air and the view of the deer. Perfect little getaway.

Best Vacation Ever!

I grew up in the woods and lake country in the extreme north of New Jersey. This cabin at Lake Ariel sits in the very same terrain and surroundings as where I grew up. So for me, it was like being home once more. This cabin is a bit pricey, but after you've stayed, nothing else you look at will seem attractive. Besides the 3 large bedrooms, there are some nice, quiet reading areas, a cozy living room with a delightful fireplace, and eating areas both inside the dwelling, on the huge, screened porch, and outside around a firepit. There is a very large, lower-level housing a 4th bedroom, with comfy couches and chairs for watching the second (and large) TV. Every one of the 3 levels has a full bathroom, one with a clawfoot tub on the main level. The kitchen is furnished with pretty much everything you'd need. There are plenty of clean towels, and the bedding is fresh and clean. The only thing that is not furnished is laundry detergent for use in the up-to-date washer & dryer located in the ample laundry room. A short and scenic drive will bring you to a Weis market, churches, banks, general shopping, antique shopping, etc. In short, this property will not disappoint, and you may find yourself returning again and again.

Lake wallenpaupack cabin

The cabin is beautiful as pictured with quality furnishings. Only one of the bedrooms has an en suite but the other two bathrooms worked well with our family dynamic. Two of the bedrooms are upstairs. We couldn't believe our luck as first time b&b people to find such a comfortable and clean home away from home to attend our grandson's wedding.

Absolutely wonderful! What a beautiful cabin. We enjoyed our stay very much. Loved seeing the wildlife. There was plenty of room and great porches. The cabin was very clean and well cared for. Would love to stay there again!

Nice Pocono Cabin Stay

July stay. Nicely built modern wooden log cabin. Different fireplace on each floor. Comfortable to hang out on either floor. Grill outside for meals and firepit for the night time ambiance, s’mores, etc. Large covered and screened porch for hanging out and meals. Community pool access included. For Lake activities bring your own items. Although we missed our Brodie boy (dog) at home it was a great stay with good amenities. Would certainly recommend.

Perfect little getaway!

Cabin was perfect for our family of three! We loved having lunch on the screened in-porch and drinking our morning coffee and tea on the front porch, while watching the deer.. The fire pit was perfect for relaxing and making s’mores! We took advantage of the amenities offered, my son loved the basketball court, playground and pool! We will definitely be booking again!

Excellent cabin!

This home was absolutely beautiful. It was all that I hoped for and more!

This rental had that cozy feel. I couldn’t have asked for better. The detail the owners put into this home made it feel like a home away from home! A beautiful retreat! We truly enjoyed our stay. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect Rustic Cabin!

Booked this cabin for a long weekend getaway with my family. The fireplaces are stunning and the craftsmanship and attention to detail make this place very special. The kids had a blast playing foosball and making s’mores by the fire pit. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous cabin!

We had high hopes for this property and it delivered and then some. It was beautiful inside and out, just like the photos. Everyting met out expectations except that in the pictures, there was a small dining table downstairs in the room with the sectional and now there's a foosball table and we were counting on the dining table. But that aside, it was an absolutely lovely stay. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The seating was well placed and comfortable. It was beautifully decorated for xmas, which we really appreciated. The tvs all worked and got a host of channels. Overall, it was just as advertised and so much better being there. Highly recommend.

Over all great. Had a problem with cleanliness. Refrigerator disgusting. Bathroom nasty.

The experience was wonderful. Celebration of my wife's birthday. Rental was beautiful. We had to clean a bit upon arrival. Kinda odd being that a cleaning fee is charged. Notified the owner immediately upon arrival that maybe cleaning crew missed the mark. Didn't complain just for his awareness. Sent pictures of hair in all showers and tubs and the disgusting refrigerator. At first he was apologetic but later got defensive and recommended we could leave if not satisfied. Never did I state we were leaving or was I upset.

Perfect for peace and tranquility

We needed a mental health break and saw this log cabin. Mark's communication is first class and the pictures and right up are spot on. The fire in the living room added to the wonderful experience. Lots to do if you like, wineries, breweries, lakes, Scranton or do nothing and go for nice walks. Very relaxing and just what the doctor ordered, thanks Mark you have a beautiful place.

Perfect cabin!

Beautiful, clean, cozy cabin located in a nice neighborhood. Deer walked across the yard almost every day. The cabin itself had such a great warm cabin charm to it. Would 100% go back.

Great staycation

This cabin was amazing!! Very clean, updated and description was completely accurate. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots pans..anything you could need. There are even toys and board games in the basement for the kids or kid at heart adults. Highly recommend and would visit again.
