Daughter and Sons birthday

Got this house for my Daughter and Sons birthday It was cheaper than everyone getting a hotel room. Overall, the house was nice the pool heater did not work on the second day so the pool was cold. The property management sent over some one to fix it by the end of the 3rd day it was warm again. Overall, it was nice and I would rent the house again.

Visiting the MOUSE!!!!

My overall impression of this property was excellent!! We would definitely stay again. The home was overall just as pictured. Yearly we do a family vacation that includes my 10 grandchildren and their parents. The rooms are large, beautifully decorated. We had more than enough space. The children loved the pool. We had ordered a grill and it was there when we arrived. There were a few hiccups on arrival, like blinds missing from patio doors, lock broken on patio door, no cushions on patio furniture, etc., just normal wear and tear that you would expect in a popular vacation home, but those things were definitely not a deal breaker. We were still very impressed with the property. When I initially tried to contact someone on arrival, no one responded, but after further review of all rental and contact information I discovered that I was leaving and sending messages to the wrong telephone number and email. Please read all information about check in and emergency contact and follow those instructions. Once I reached the right persons all of our concerns were addressed immediately. The local property manager, Nikki, was amazing! Always responded quickly to any concerns we had. Prior to arrival WY Vacations Home was great! They answered any and every question and offered any assistance necessary prior to our arrival. We created wonderful memories in this lovely home that will last for generations. If you want a large, comfortable home for a family vacation while visiting the "MOUSE", check this one out.

A beautifully decorated but dangerous home

When we first arrived we thought it was great! Until we got out back where the pool was cloudy and green. It had to be serviced three times in four days. Then our second night there, as we sit down to have pizza, my mothers chair gave out literally landing her on the floor and ruining the vacation before it even began for her. Her injury literally left her in bed for the duration of the trip. I was charged 185.00 for a grill that was falling apart. Had to have another one delivered. The outdoor furniture was falling apart and had to be taken apart by maintenance and put back together. Towel racks falling out of the walls, rips in the screen house ect. Managers were no were around, still waiting on a response and NOTHING! They were very quick to come pick up the broken furniture to get rid of the evidence, but not before I was able to take pictures . I have pictures and videos from day one of our stay and I can prove how many times I have tried to contact Managers and the owners to no avail. I have NEVER in my life left a bad review, but stay away from.this house. They only care abkut the money and nothing else. It was a beautiful home that was decorated brilliantly but the up keep is seriously lacking and proved dangerous to our family.

Not the best experience

The house was nice but there were a lot of issues that were never fix emailed and texted and called to get this fix but the house manager never responded the resort send to fix the projector but that was it the chairs from the pool and the dining room were breaking the pots from the kitchen were super old and we could hardly do some food the walls had stains everywhere there were TVs in every room but most of them didn’t work the pool was not the cleanest the beds were very uncomfortable there were not enough towels there were a lot of issues that we didn’t expect.

Unsanitary/unsatisfactory stay

The location of this property and the resort club house amenities were great. The size of this house was great, ample room and very spacious however, the cleanliness and amenities was very disappointing. Upon entering the home after we arrived we inspected. The first floor bathroom had dried up blood on the wall underneath the toilet tissue holder. Holes were in the bottom of the bathroom door and in the wall behind the bathroom door. The toilet tissue holders in all the bathrooms were very loose. To avoid any damage I instructed my family not to use the toilet tissue holders at all. The walls throughout the house, in the first floor bedroom and bathroom need to be repainted. The four tan chairs at the counter by the kitchen was very dirty/stained and worn out. We only used two of them. Need to be replaced. In the dinning room area the two end cap tan chairs are very stained and dirty. We were not comfortable sitting in them so we did not use. We were very excited to utilize the pool area but to our disappointment it did not look like the picture on vrbo. The outside patio table only had three chairs, no cushions were on any of the pool area furniture so we could not use and only two lounge chairs were by the pool and one was broken. The umbrella shown in the picture on vrbo was broken so we could not utilize. Now it’s time for bed and we had to Purchase two sleeping bags and two blankets for my girls. They could not wait to sleep in the Moana room. Unfortunately the bottom bunk and the full size bed had dried up blood and hair on the sheets, and the blankets. We also found a used pad underneath the bed. So needless to say my girls were not comfortable sleeping in the bed so they both slept on the floor. In the bathroom by the little mermaid room my sister killed a roach so I called management and someone came out the next day to sprayed. If the cleanliness of the home and the furniture was better maintained we would have enjoyed this home more.

Repairs

There were a few broken patio chairs when we arrived. Two of the televisions didn’t work. The carpet on the stairway needs to be replaced because it’s very worn and there was a musty odor while going up the stairs. The dryer takes FOREVER to dry your clothes. The paint needs to be touched up on the walls.

Unsanitary conditions and nonresponsive host

I would not recommend this property nor any other property listed by this host. There was a safety issue as the back door did not lock at all. The linens, shower curtains and blinds were dirty and/or unsanitary. There was blood on sheets, brown substance on shower curtains and one of the pillowcases, as well as food particles on the blinds. I do not believe this house was thoroughly cleaned at all. The freezer was broken as well as the dryer. We spent a considerate amount of time trying to clean the place and wash the linens as it was a group of 19 so we couldn't just leave. The dryer took about 3 cycles just to dry. Prior to the trip, the host was very responsive. However, after I reported the issues to the host, I didn't hear back for about 48 hours. The host stated that the property owner would be made aware of the inconveniences and consulted about a partial refund. However, I never received a response back even after reaching back out. On the plus the house does look like the photos minus the unsanitary conditions. It's also spacious and in a good location. I've stayed at Champions Gate before and would recommend the area, but not this property. The location is about a 30 - 60 minute drive from the airport depending on traffic.
