Willkommen in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus in Südsee! Das Backshore Cottage liegt nur ein paar Blocks von der Promenade und dem Strand entfernt. Sie wohnen an einem ruhigen Ende der Stadt und können bequem zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad in die Innenstadt gelangen. Bei Ihrem Aufenthalt erhalten Sie eine kostenlose Flasche Wein und die Nutzung von vier hochwertigen Strandkreuzern. Sehr privater Garten mit Whirlpool, Grill, Picknicktisch, Feuerstelle und Strandutensilien (Boogie Boards, Liegestühle, ein Wagen und vieles mehr). Ein Markt ist nur ein paar Häuser weiter und schöne Restaurants sind zu Fuß erreichbar.

Der Raum

Unser Raum ist einzigartig, weil es ein bezauberndes, aktualisiertes Vintage-Strandhaus ist, das geschmackvoll im Strandthema mit Vintage-Akzenten dekoriert ist. Unser Eigentum bietet eine Menge Privatsphäre. Unser Garten ist eingezäunt und es gibt Gras, aber auch eine riesige Zementfläche, die zum Parken oder zum Spielen genutzt werden kann. Die Kinder und Erwachsenen können Fahrräder und Rollschuhe im Raum nutzen, weil es riesig ist. Das Anwesen ist für die Kleinen ausgestattet, also bringen Sie die Familie mit und genießen Sie alles, was Seaside zu bieten hat.

Sie haben Zugang zum Cottage, zur Garage und zum Garten, der sich auf dem gesamten Grundstück befindet. Sie sind eine Reihe von Lieferungen und Aktivitäten in der Garage.

Seaside Spring Break

We were disappointed to see that there was a hole in the fence not shown in pictures- our dogs are well behaved but we had to keep an eye out so they didn’t escape. We also discovered an ant infestation which owners said they will address- but did not refund and of our cleaning fee. The house was very cozy during the heavy rains and hail! The kitchen had all of the supplies we needed- although we were too scared to use the vintage stove.

Wonderful Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this quirky cottage. When they say vintage, they mean it. That being said, who needs the latest appliances at the beach? Located in a quiet neighborhood, it’s only blocks to the beach with the Mobi mat. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub worked well. It was a perfect 103 degrees. The furnace was a bit noisy at times but my husband reminded me that we have not lived with forced air heating in decades. We were able to stream our favorites on TV. It was a wonderful base to explore from Cannon Beach to Astoria!!

Not accurate listing

I chose this property for three things, fenced backyard, pet friendly and hot tub. The yard was not fenced. One side next to neighbors house has no fence just some shrubs a completely rusted partial metal thing and plastic garbage can turned on its side I assume to attempt to create a barrier. The hot tub was clean, but when we opened the lid it was covered in ants. Also only one side of the jets work and the cover is falling apart. I read previous reviews and looked at photos but the yard doesn’t match those in the listing. I’m not sure how the rental company didn’t know they were missing 1/4 of a fence. I didn’t feel comfortable letting my dog in the backyard for that reason. The beds were comfortable but the queen located in the loft requires you to climb ladder like stairs that are so steep it doesn’t feel safe. Once up there you will have to stoop if taller than 5’4. The bathroom is nice. The furniture covers are falling apart and should be replaced. For the price my husband and I expected more. Also if you say you have a fenced backyard there should be a fence completely around the yard.We left a day early.

Relax & Replenish

Fabulous! Easy to check in & out of this comfy cozy vintage home! Quiet & peaceful neighborhood just three short blocks to the beach! The fully fenced backyard provided running space for our dog - plenty of yard for all!! Overall the privacy of this home provided the quiet solitude we needed and yet not far from the beach and restaurants! Thank you itrip!

Cozy Home For Two

Inside the house and the jacuzzi were quite clean. The garage and back yard need work. Organize and throw away unnecessary items in garage. Picnic table was falling apart and quite dirty. Yard needed raked from the leaves and fruits falling from the tree. It was a perfect house for my husband and me. We cannot imagine, though, how more people than perhaps a child could stay there. No floor space for suitcases.(We laid ours open on the extra downstairs bed.)Very limited closet space. The attic room is accessed by a ladder. Didn’t seem safe to us. We recommend cleaning out unnecessary items also from the kitchen cabinets. The house needs tiny side tables and/ or floor lamps in the bedrooms and den. More private window coverings in the bedrooms is also needed. We LOVED our time there regardless. The home is in a lovely location for walking to the beach and grocery and restaurants and the boardwalk to downtown. The neighborhood is quiet. Everything we needed was available. The hot tub was lovely. *Renters should note that the house has no AC. But the furnace warms the house quickly. The info in the home says to contact owner. That doesn’t work. But the property manager was MOST responsive! We would rent here again.

Great stay!

My husband and I stayed in this adorable cottage to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The cottage was so close to the beach, just a short walk. It had all of the amenities you need for a great stay. Overall we had a great stay! The host was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. I highly recommend this cottage if you plan to stay in Seaside. And I highly recommend stay in Seaside OR. It's such a cute town with plenty of neat shops and restaurants and if you are venturing out of town it is a great distance from so many fun activities.

Lovely location!

We had a mostly positive experience at this Seaside cottage. We loved the hot tub, the bikes, and the location (a very short walk to the ocean; and short walk or bike ride to lots of restaurants). The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the games. However, we probably wouldn't stay here again. The attic bedroom was quite hot; two small windows cool the room nicely, but there are no screens. Most frustratingly, the window coverings did a poor job of blocking out the early-morning sun. If those two small things were improved, that would really improve the stay.

Cute, clean, good location

It is a nice little space located within a few minutes of the beach. IMO, the location was pretty ideal being off the main roads with a small neighborhood grocery store near by and a couple restaurants. Still, it is close enough to major shopping in Seaside. Overall, I am comfortable giving a 5 star review, and the notes that follow are not intended to be critical. Rather, they are included for transparency around my experience and offered to add clarity and detail to the listing. Thanks to a previous review, we knew that the bathroom didn't have a fan. It's a weird omission since the room has been remodeled. We didn't have problems with ants as another reviewer commented. The front bedroom on the main floor is separated from the living room by a set of pocket doors - so bear that in mind for any privacy/usage concerns. The bed in the rear bedroom was uncomfortable with the mattress leaning to the side and back on one side. It was passable for a couple days, but I wouldn't want to sleep on it for a week. Central air would've been a nice addition - if only to keep the air moving in the house. However, the converted attic space desperately needed air conditioning. It trapped all the heat so it was really warm during the day. The stairs leading to the attic room were steep! They were more like a built in ladder and the treads were short and shallow. Use caution.

Good location but home needs improvement

Pros: Short walk to the prom and beach, washer & dryer available, lots of towels, two restaurants and market right around the corner. Cons: Ants in the attic/third bedroom, bathroom didn’t have a fan - needed to open the windows but it had a direct view to neighbor’s living room, hot tub was overfilled and couldn’t heat up more than 94 degrees the first night, living room didn’t feel relaxing - sofa covers felt dingy. Overall, it was an okay stay. We checked out early because the ants and the no bathroom fan was uncomfortable.

Vintage Cottage is delightful

We had a wonderful restful time at the Vintage Cottage. It has so many features for all types of visitors. Fire pit, hot tub, bikes, washer and dryer, etc etc. it is on a private quiet street only 2 1/2 blocks from the beach. Place is immaculately clean and well stocked with appliances to make life simple and easy. It is a perfect size for two people and can sleep 5. The loft is up a very steep ladder/stairs to keep in mind for safety going up and down. We would happily return to this location again.

Great stay

I Loved my week here in Seaside. The property was perfect for me, especially the Hot Tub, used it every night after a long day of exploring the area. I had read previous reviews and there was nothing that couldnt be sorted bybsome quick modifications, i hung a blanket over the front door window and a towel over the back door for privacy. For ant control just dont leave any food oprn and all will be fine. Im an artist and enjoyed peaceful evenings drawing by the fire. It was pretty cold while i was there but very cozy in the cabin. The property was great, i wish the weather had been better for me to enjoy the yard. If i ever get back to seaside i would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great stay.

It was great. Exactly everything we needed. Was clean, convenient and had great amenities. Hot tub was great, grill was convenient, location was awesome. Market and restaurants a 1 minute walk. Beach only a couple more.

Listing was misleading. Would not recommend.

We are a family of 4 with 2 young kids and don’t like to give bad reviews, but this listing was just not accurate. We were excited to stay at this location for all of the amenities offered and we were quite disappointed. 1. The hot tub water was murky and had leaves and dirt in it. We only went in once due to it not being clean. 2. We were hoping to use the grill with the nice weather and when we opened the grill it was rusted inside and quite dirty on the rack. 3. The shades in the front room don’t match the window and there’s no covering on the front door large window, so we put things in place so no one could see in. 4. The fire pit online looked ready to use and when we arrived the fire pit was dirty and no wood available to use. 5. We hoped to be able to use the bikes with our two kids at some point, but the bikes were dirty and the kid carrier was too dirty to use. 6. The shower in bathroom was leaking water out of the shower onto the floor due to gap in shower door. 7. We listed that there were 4 of us on the reservation and we were only given 2 shower towels. 8. For the price we paid, next time we will just book a nice hotel. *The ITrip property management company sent us an email to check in on our stay on Saturday. I sent an email back with our concerns and we never got a response from them.
