I don’t even know where to start. It’s the worst experience of my life.
Arrival was terrible, no one explained how to access the house & disarm the alarm that kept sounding.
Everything was dirty, not a single clean dish. There was rest of food everywhere.
The wifi kept crashing all the time, although that’s not the end of the world, but we needed it to communicate with the owner.
The water system broke and we had no water many days. Again, with no wifi, there was no way to communicate this issue with the owner. We had to go to a restaurant to find wifi and notify him.
The laundry did not work at all, washing machine and drier both were broken. Imagine staying 11 days washing by hand for a family of 4. The second time I tried to address this problem with Gregory Petin, he did not let me talk, yelled at me and was extremely rude and condescending. The last time my partner tried to call him, Gregory yelled at him and hung up the conversation. Also, the dishwasher did not work.
One of the nights there was a tropical rain , and the entire house was flooded. The room downstairs had a huge leak and the bed was completely soaked as well as upstairs. The house is not prepared for rains.
At some point during our stay they were able to fix the water issue but we had people coming in and out during our whole vacation, making it uncomfortable to relax. Location was great but overall I don’t recommend this place because of the poor treatment & management of the owner and house.
