Dragonfly Lite - Privathaus in tropischer Umgebung mit eigenem Pool zum Genießen!

Willkommen bei Dragonfly Lite, unserem Haus auf den Schlüsseln. Das Haus verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer, eine Königin im Master und 2 Zwillinge im Gästezimmer, ein Badezimmer + unsere Außendusche, alle Handtücher, die Sie für den Pool oder den Strand benötigen (bitte hinterlassen Sie die Sand draußen). Es ist auch unsere Küche, also gibt es alles, was Sie brauchen, um einen Sturm zu kochen, genießen Sie! Der Wohnbereich verfügt über einen großen Fernseher, bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten. Ihr Pool- und Terrassenbereich ist mit einem Gasgrill für Mahlzeiten im Freien und Sitzbereichen ausgestattet. Parkplätze für Ihr Auto und Boot abseits der Straße. Gleich die Straße runter (ein kurzer Spaziergang) ist Lazy Days Restaurant und der nächste Laden ist Marathon Marina. Eine 10-minütige Fahrt zum Sombrero Beach, der zum besten Strand der Keys gewählt wurde. Weniger als eine Meile zu Fuß zur Seven Mile Bridge. Viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten am Marathon und Sie sind nur eine Stunde von Key West entfernt.
Libelle Lite !! ist ein wunderbarer Inselurlaub für ein Paar oder eine Familie, die an die Schlüssel kommen möchten, um sich zurückzulehnen, sich zu entspannen und die Gesellschaft des anderen zu genießen. Ein besonderer Ort, um Ihre Flitterwochen oder Ihr Jubiläum zu feiern. Wir freuen uns von Ihnen zu hören.

Tolles Haus für 4 Personen

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen in Dragonfly Lite. Die Kinder hatten viel Spaß im Pool. Das Haus war zweckmäßig mit allem was man braucht. Schöner Gasgrill im Garten. Gute Lage um die Keys kennenzulernen.

Poolside Paradise

This was our first visit to the Keys and we were very pleased. The house is cozy and clean, and the outdoor pool area is phenomenal. Jerry and Lynn were wonderful hosts. The only bad part of the trip was returning to central Illinois weather.

Beautiful outdoor patio, amazing pool, and a very well air conditioned house. We had a great week here, only thing we wished was different was the jacuzzi connected to the pool was the same temperature as the pool, other than that, fantastic host and property.

Private Oasis

This was a much needed break! Dragon fly lite was absolutely perfect in every way. Jerry and Barbie were great at communicating. I enjoyed the peaceful vibe, the pool area is incredible!

Great Trip

We had an amazing time at your rental! The pool was warm & we enjoyed spending our days in the beautiful yard. The property was clean, cozy and absolutely perfect for us. They had even put a bottle of champagne in the fridge to surprise us for our anniversary! It was a very thoughtful gesture. Jerry checked in prior to arrival and during our stay to ensure everything was going well. We were able to walk to the Lazy Daze restaurant and other restaurants are a short drive away. We will definitely look into staying here again when coming back to the Keys. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Wonderful week vacation

We had a wonderful relaxing week in Marathon thanks in part to this great vacation property. The pool was fantastic. Landscaping beautiful. Jerry was so friendly and Barbie was great showing us everything the property has to offer.

Dragonfly Lite, week in paradise

Everything here was perfect. Property manager, Barbie met us at house to orient us to everything. She did a great job, and I felt comfortable contacting her for needs, but we had none. Very clean inside and out. Beach chairs and umbrella provided as well as beach towels. Kitchen had everything needed if you want to cook. Close to many excellent restaurants. And the pool...so beautiful and relaxing, very private. Great location to explore the Keys if you can tear yourslef away from the pool. Property owner also communicated frequently with suggestions for fishing tours, activities, etc. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and hope to return soon.

Wonderful!

Perfect home base to enjoy the beautiful Florida Keys! We divided our time between exploring Marathon and relaxing poolside. The owners have made this home a private resort-style destination unmatched by any other place we stayed. Already looking forward to another visit!

Wonderful stay and property!

We much enjoyed our week at the Dragonfly Lite. The communication from the owner and property manager is excellent, timely, fast. The home is nicely decorated and very clean. The pool and the entire backyard is visually very pleasant, comfortable, clean, and perfect for a family. We loved the privacy fence that the property provided. You won’t be disappointed staying here!

Absolutely wonderful!

We loved staying at the Dragonfly Lite! It was so clean and well kept! The backyard and pool were a true oasis and so beautiful and relaxing! We loved everything about staying here! Jerry met us and showed us around the property and talked with us about things to do in the area and made sure we knew we could call at anytime if needed. We absolutely will stay here if we are able to come back! Thank you, Jerry!

Backyard paradise

Perfect yard to relax. Sitting areas, grilling area beautiful swimming pool and fresh bananas. House was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was small but functional. Close to restaurants, mini golf, sunset cruise and the old 7mi. bridge thats perfect for walking, keep an eye on the water we saw sea turtles and stingrays. The sun sets right across the street. It was very quiet during our stay

Enjoyed the Keys Outdoors

We had a great time at the Dragonfly Lite! The outdoor area and pool were exceptional! We really enjoyed use of the outdoor shower, as well! The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Jerry was incredibly helpful leading up to and during the stay, as was Barbie, our property manager.

Favorite Marathon Stay!

This is the second year our family of 4 chose to stay at the Dragonfly Lite! We love how close it is to our other favorites, Keys Fisheries, Stuffed Pig, Castaway but still a hidden gem right off US 1. Walking into the gate it is always amazing how this place exists right off the main highway! It’s beautiful with the palm trees and lounging areas set up around pool. Our kids loved swimming in the pool in the evenings after our local adventures. I loved the outside reading area and outside shower. The host, Jerry has made it a real oasis and Barbie, the property manager is eager to help if any problems arise. We always look forward to our time in the Keys and when we go back, we’ll continue to stay here.

best cottage ever

From the time of booking to the time of checking out, this place was amazing! I can't say enough great things about it. I love giving detailed reviews because when I spend time looking for the perfect place, I look for great reviews and this is THE place. Barbie was so sweet and helpful. We never needed anything during our stay but she insisted if we did we were to let her know. Our cottage was so clean and the yard,landscaping, pool etc were well maintained. From the fabulous patio with all the chairs, cute shaded sitting area, the hammock, pool toys and floaties, the grill, to the outside shower behind the house to the washer/dryer outback and the clothes drying line, this house just had everything! beach chairs, coolers, well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and beach towels and comfy beds. It was on a very quiet street, Lazy Days restaurant at one end and the 7 Mile grill and Porkys at the other,just a short walk. And it was within walking distance to the 7 Mile Bridge which is where we watched the sunset every night. The skies were so dark at night and the stars so bright like I've never seen before since there was no light pollution. The only thing I might change here would be to get better pillows but thats just my preference, they may be ok for you. It was very difficult to leave this place. Best rental ever...

Excellent stay

Our family with young children enjoyed staying at Dragonfly Lite. It was so comfortable and well stocked with supplies. Our kids loved the pool so much. We brought our boat with and used the marina at the end of the street. We barely used our boat because the outdoor patio/pool of the house was so relaxing. Thank you for letting us make some amazing memories at your house! We can’t wait to come back soon :)

Amazing vacation spot!

Review This property was the perfect place for our family of three! My husband and I said multiple times throughout the week that this was the best vacation we have ever been on and the house was a huge part of that! The property was just a few seconds off the main road but you could not tell that at all once you were there. It felt like a completely private oasis with the palms, pool and beautiful landscaping. The pool was definitely a highlight and we swam multiple times a day. We stayed at the end of November and the heated option was perfect for the morning and night swims to keep the water a comfortable temperature. My two year old had so much fun playing in the pool (pool noodles and floats provided) and spent a lot of time running his little machines around all the cool landscaping (you understand if you have little boys 😂) while I was able to lay back on one of the outdoor lounges and watch him. The outdoor shower was also a huge perk!! We never even showered in the indoor bathroom because the outdoor shower was so relaxing (and completely stocked with shampoo/conditioner/body wash.) The interior of the home is the perfect size for a small family and we felt that the home was very quiet. We were able to keep it completely comfortable with all the AC options for each room. The beds and the couch were super comfortable! Another big perk was that everything we needed supply wise (trash bags, soap, paper towels, toilet paper, detergent) was provided for the entire week! We didn’t have to buy anything but food. The house even had coffee! Location wise I think that Marathon is a great option for families. We could easily day trip to Key West, but there were so many family friendly things to do within 5-15 minutes of the house. Highly recommend Aquatic Encounters and Marathon Library if you have little ones! We also enjoyed 2 days at Bahia Honda which was a quick car ride from the house (the house has coolers, umbrellas, sand toys, floaties to take!) Overall, we highly recommend this house to any small families who are looking to vacation in the keys! Seriously, you will not regret choosing this place! Thank you so much to Barbie (awesome and efficient guide to the house), Jerry and Lynn for sharing this piece of paradise! We could not have had a better time!

Beautiful property

The property was so beautiful. The perfect place to relax for a week. Jerry was great; even checked in with us once we arrived. The pool was the highlight. We spent so many hours just relaxing in it. The house was very clean and stocked with everything you could need. The location was also perfect. There are so many nice restaurants close by. We were able to walk to the Old 7 Mile Bridge as well as Lazy Days for lunch and dinner. If we were turn to Marathon we will definitely stay here again!

Great stay even with a Hurricane!!

This place is a hideaway with the way the owners have it set up! When you walk through the gate your private paradise. Even before and after the storm the owner and caretaker was checking on us making sure everything was a great experience! I have stayed a lot in the "Keys" and this has been my favorite !!!
