Can't Miss

Staying at the resort is so much better than a simple hotel room, no matter the property. I like being comfortable and a condo with a full kitchen, jet tub, and washer/dryer is much to be preferred over a bed, desk, and bathroom. The service was great, the owner was great and the property was great!

Overall great stay

I really enjoyed staying at the Wyndham grand desert again one of the reasons I stay here is because of the quietness and cleanness of the property. I stayed in tower one and while I liked it, I didn’t like there was no one from management around and employees sitting behind the front desk of that tower were not very welcoming it almost felt were tras passing in their brake area. Even when I parked my car there employee smoking marijuana in a park car next to the dumpsters not sure if they were part of the construction crew or employees.

Great stay for CES near all the action!

The suite was very good value for the amount of space it had. It is also extremely easy to get Lyfts and Ubers from this property to get around town rather than deal with special pick up zones like the larger casinos have. Recommended!

Beautiful property

Great property however we have been here numerous times but it has been a few years. Like the pool area for adults but need it needs more seating and tables. Only complaint was the timeshare sales staff. I don’t like to be rude to get my “no thanks across” but you do with them. Worse than I have experienced before.

Away from the crazy strip

This was a perfect place to put my head on a pillow each night as I attended a conference at another hotel on the strip. I was away from the craziness and the pool was relaxing as well.

Not what i purchased

I purchased a one bedroom unit. The picture showed a full kitchen and living room. What I got was a one bedroom lock off. We had NO living Soace for 4 women. When you pull the sofa bed out there was little room. And the "kitchen" was not a full functioning kitchen. I paid for one thing and got something completely different. That's called bait and switch.

Good Value

Rented this place for a conference and found it much easier to navigate than staying across the street at the MGM. It's a good value and with no smokey casino. I didn't realize housekeeping was not included, but overall a positive experience.

Fantastic Stay

The accommodations were very nice. They recently completed a renovation of the building we were in and we were pleased. Everything was very clean and cozy. The hallways were lovely (enjoyed the new artwork). The staff was very pleasant and helpful (went above and beyond to attempt to find my computer I left in room after check out). The pool and hot tub were great as well. I would have given 5 stars however for a Resort that size we were disappointed with the food options. They only have a small cafe so we ate out or ordered in most of the time. Other than that we would stay again.

Will definitely stay here next time I’m in Vegas!!

What an amazing property, room and service! I loved it and wished I didn’t have to leave so soon. From the washer and dryer to the full kitchen in the room to the restaurant and bar on site to the location and the available shuttle to the Strip, all for less than $100 a day, I couldn’t ask for more at such a reasonable price.

Great place for business travel or vacation.

The condos at Grand Desert were great. They were clean, quiet, and had all the comforts of home. I recommend this place to anyone traveling on business or vacation to the Las Vegas Strip area. Price rate was fair considering the amount of conferences and conventions going on at the time.

This room was perfect for my vacation and I would highly recommend it to anyone

This hotel was location was perfect it is just a short walk to the Strip but yet not apart of the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas Blvd. So you still could relax with peace and quiet. The room was spacious, and overlooking the pool which was beautiful and heated. The amenities they offer was very nice. The bar had a few casino games in there. The convient store had everything you needed during your stay. Overall this was a great hotel and a wonderful room and I would stay here again on my next trip to Las Vegas.

Great stay and location for a great price.

Very good place to stay in vegas near the strip. Convenient shuttle to the center of the strip regularly. Would highly recommend. The room was super nice and comfortable, though I was told our room was recently renovated and can't guarantee that you'd get the same room.

Resort is great but stay away from Timeshare presentation

The property is great. Nice layout, a little like a maze but okay. Gym is good, rooms are large; feel like mid 1990's decor, but not an issue at all. I will stay here again next year. However, when I checked in, they signed me up for a timeshare presentation. I arranged my schedule to accommodate it (you have to give a $20 deposit to make sure you show). I showed up. It was supposed to be a 60 min presentation with a $75 AMEX card promised. At check-in the “gotcha’s” started. First, I had to give over all of my information so now I’m forever in their system. Then came the “oh, sorry but that was the wrong presentation you were signed up for. It will be a 90 minute presentation. Then I’m told they may not have any representatives available, so to wait. So I waited. Then I was told that there is no one available, so I could just get my deposit refunded. There was even a line there! They did tell me that she was sorry about the poor experience and, if I wanted, I could talk to a manager in the other tower. I go over to speak with a manager and told him what had taken place. He looks in bewilderment at my envelope and asks where is my paper. The girl at the gift desk takes the paper when you get a refund. How does he not know this? I told him they took it, which made him look confused. I told him how it was series of, “oh, there’s a mistake and we would now do this” and after all of that time and frustration, I end up with wasted time and a rearranged schedule that didn’t need to be. He then offers that I can come to it tomorrow. I told him I’m checking out tomorrow. He then says, “well, I don’t know what you want me to do.” REALLY?!?!?! First, he could ask for the more information to find out what happened (or does this occur so frequently it’s not a surprise). He could have let me know that he was sorry for the experience and that’s not the way Wyndham would like to have people treated. He could see if there’s a way to get a representative to do a presentation, regular or brief, so I could get the AMEX card. He could have called to see if the facts were correct, what went wrong, and see how to remedy it for the future. Instead, he just stares at me. I finally couldn’t believe this was a manager I was speaking with and realized this only made the experience worse. STAY AWAY FROM THE PRESENTATIONS AT THIS PLACE. THEY ARE UNORGANIZED AND/OR DECEITFUL ON THEIR PRACTICES. You will waste your time and be frustrated.
