Perfect Vacation Villa

Hummingbird Villa is in perfect location on the island. The views are amazing from the villa and you are minutes from beautiful nearby beaches. The outdoor kitchen and pool bar is a perfect spot to sit and enjoy the views, especially the sunset with your family and friends.

Loved our stay at Hummingbird Villa! This hidden gem with the pool and swim up bar put the icing on the cake for a 50th birthday girls trip. We had plenty of space and spent most our time in the pool when we weren't at one of the nearby beaches or eating at Marfa's. Don't hesitate...book this property!

Spring Break 2024

We had a wonderful stay at the Hummingbird Villa. This was our second time to the island and our second stay in Coral Estates. We again enjoyed everything on the island, beaches, restaurants, shopping, beautiful sights and weather each day. Our favorite part was the villa’s pool and the Nectar bar. It was truly awesome for us and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you so much for a great time!

Wonderful family Christmas vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at the Hummingbird Villa over the Christmas Holidays. The swimming pool was delightful and so appreciated after spending the day at the beach. The Hummingbird Villa is in a delightful Coral Estates resorts. It was nice to be able to access all the restaurants and beach with walking distance. The location of the Villa is perfect to visit all the wonderful beaches close by. We loved cooking in the outdoor kitchen and watching the sun set and the stars come out. Great stay!

Birthday Vacation

From the pictures online we had high expectations but the property exceeded them all. Great location, close to those beautiful northwest beaches but the serious trifecta was the pool, outdoor kitchen and ocean view. Those three were just spectacular. The kitchen had everything you would need for a delicious vacation. It was also great having a restaurant/bakery within the resort for those later nights coming back from the beach. Thank you again for the super friendly and helpful hosts and checkin.

The outdoor pool area and outdoor kitchen are amazing. This is where we spent most of our time when not exploring the island. The only thing was the outdoor tv did not work, the remote was missing. Other than that the house is a great place to stay!!!

Everything you need.

We had a lovely stay at Hummingbird Villa. The house is equipped with everything you could need. We spent most of our time in the house by the outdoor kitchen and seating area, dipping into pool, enjoying the swim up bar and sunsets. House came with a complimentary small keg of beer. Two types of outlets throughout the house, US and European voltages. Short walk/drive to the restaurants at the Coral Estates resort. Beautiful beaches on the west side of Curacao.

Not going to say much here. We had to find a new place after 1 night. Ultimately cancelled by VRBO. Wish we could have stayed but several things were broken and plumbing in home and neighborhood was an issue. Still had a great time in Curacao once moved to new accommodations.

Even better than our previous stay in Coral Estate!

Hummingbird Villa is by far the most fully equipped property we've ever rented in terms of conveniences (pool & beach toys, kitchen utensils, countless coffee machines, etc)... not to mention the helpful labels on everything as well as the very detailed property guide. We used the indoor kitchen only once (for our first breakfast) and then used the outdoor kitchen for the next two weeks as it's a perfect space for preparing every type of meal. The many different outdoor lounge areas kept the experience interesting for our full two weeks. Our son loved the bunk bed and the bins of kids toys and games! A couple situations arose (water shortage & electricity outage) - both of them unrelated to the villa itself - and the property manager and property owners were very responsive & helpful. A couple amenities in the listing ("hot tub" & "dryer") are not part of the villa, though perhaps available within Coral Estate. Overall this was easily the highest quality villa/condo that we've ever rented throughout nearly 10 countries. We're already looking into a future booking! :)

Amazing Villa with Beautiful View!

The pictures are accurate and the location is perfect. There was plenty of room for 5 adults and two kids (7 and 11 years old). We emailed Brigitte, the property manager, a few times before we arrived to coordinate checking in and she was able to pick up some small groceries to hold us over for a day until we could go to the grocery store. She also provided a person to get an in home massage and pedicure while we were there. The trade winds will run through the house cooling it off, and we spent almost all of our time either on the balcony, in the pool, or cooking in the outdoor kitchen. It is a 7-minute walk down the hill/stairs to the Resort, which has a Bakery/Pizza restaurant, Koraal Rooftop Terrace, and Karakter restaurants. The food was great and they had Gluten Free bread & pizza crust for our family members with some sensitivities. About 25min drive away, there are two big grocery stores (Carrefour and Centrum) that have GF options. The snorkeling was beautiful, with fish right at the shore, and we even did a dive with the dive shop (Coral Divers), Daniel was a great guide. We did take a day to go into Willemstad and even to a few other beaches for snorkeling, but we spent most of the time in the house and resort. We definitely will be returning and renting from Anna; it was a perfect vacation!

The Perfect Curacao Vacation

We had high expectations for the Hummingbird Villa and it managed to exceed them all. Property: The villa is even more gorgeous than it appears in the pictures. You have a great ocean view. The pool is perfectly clean and a great temperature -- we spent a lot of time in it. You have tons of seating options, both in and out of the sun, and there are lots of appliances for you to use. Location: I really liked the location. Firstly, it's in a gated community with an entrance that seems to be monitored 24/7. Inside the community, you can walk down to the beach in about 10 minutes. I believe the beach has artificial sand, but it's absolutely beautiful. If you want to enjoy nightlife every night, you may prefer staying closer to Mambo Beach, but if you want a more secluded vacation, and access to better beaches, the location of this villa is great. And you can easily make day trips to the city as we did -- it's about a 30 minute drive away. Air Conditioning: The AC units are only in the bedrooms, but I believe that's pretty standard for Curacao. We were there in October, and it was definitely hot, but that's what the pool is for! Communication: The property manager, Brigitte, was great! Very friendly and easy to communicate with. Cons: We had some issues using a couple of the appliances (the beer keg and the espresso machine). These issues were totally insignificant in the grand scheme of things and we would visit the villa again in a heartbeat!

Stunning Place!

We just returned from the beautiful Hummingbird Villa and can't wait to return! The place had everything we wanted or needed, and more. There's now a gap in our day where we can't watch the sun hit that beautiful sea right in front of us each evening. The hosts have done such an amazing job - we hardly left the villa. Definitely the best place in the area - you won't be dissaspointed.

We definitely loved it here

We've had 2 absolutely fantastic weeks. The view over the Caribbean Sea is spectacular. The big pool and outside kitchen make it hard to leave the villa at all. The villa is very well equipped, AC in all bedrooms (necessary :) ) and more than plenty of space for us two. Bea and Brigitte, the two local caretakers, were kind and helpful all the time, thank you both for being so supportive! From there, you can reach so many nice beaches within a 20 minutes drive - we would recommend the less touristic beaches Kleine Knip, Cas Abao, Playa Lagun and the local Karakter beach is very good for snorkeling as well. The highly recommended Renaissance Parking in Willemstad is reachable in under 30 minutes, leave your car there and explore the city by foot. Would definitely come back.

Fantastic stay

Hummingbird Villa was a great vacation property to stay at. We really enjoyed our time there and could have stayed longer. Close enough to Willemstad to visit Mambo Beach for lunch and far enough west to get to Grote Knip beach in under an hour. The best part of our stay was finding out that the property came fully stocked with beverages and necessities. The internet access was great, no complaints from our teens. We played music videos on the outside TV in front of the swim up bar while we danced in the pool. Great fun. Great place. Highly recommend you stay at Hummingbird Villa! You'll love it.

We stayed at hummingbird villa. We loved it! It had everything we needed. We loved that it was close to coral estates where there was a restaurant, beach etc. The house was roomy and perfect. We would definitely stay there again.

Wow what a villa!!!

A very quiet and relaxing location with a beautiful view from the balconies. We felt safe inside the estate and the villa was very well equipped for a longer stay. It felt like home! A Dream Holiday

This home-away-from-home has everything; a great location, all modern conveniences, plenty of space for everyone, plus a very useful guide to the villa and the surroundings. The pool is in the shade for most of the morning - it's important to limit the kids' time in the sun. The heat is relieved by a lovely light breeze. There are loads of postcard-worthy beaches and great snorkeling for adults and kids. Jon and Anna are very helpful, and you feel they completely engaged with making our stay something really special. We'll be back.

We hail from England and spent a whole year travelling the world, staying in many beautiful places. Throughout our trip we kept a keen eye out for those little touches and ideas that truly represented the very best service and facilities available, and simply made us very happy. We found what we considered to be the perfect location, bought a villa there, and implemented all the great features we discovered on our trip. That is how 'Hummingbird Villa' was born. We want our guests to have the best possible time and enjoy our special villa just as much as we do!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We wanted a beautiful panoramic sea view on which the sun sets in front of us every evening. We wanted a pool you can actually swim lengths in, as well as enjoying with friends and family. We wanted an outdoor kitchen and swim-up bar. We wanted a beautiful villa that let us rest and dine in great comfort, with plenty of different areas to relax in. We wanted to be near beautiful beaches / snorkelling and diving. Also to have great restaurants and bars within walking distance. A nearby spa would be nice too! We also never wanted to have to worry about security. Our 'Hummingbird Villa' and its location at 'Coral Estate' fulfils every single one of these desires!
