This was our 2nd stay at Eliza's cottage. We love this place so much. Of any rental house I've stayed at, this one feels the most like a true home and is probably my favorite. So many convenient and considerate touches, like every kind of small device charger you could need, coffee, tea, plenty of dog toys, a dog crate, etc. Eliza is communicative, kind, considerate, and accommodating. The small fenced yard is very helpful, and effective for well behaved, larger dogs (there are a lot of small escape routes for little fur babes.)
The neighborhood is so charming. We regularly walked to old downtown for dinner, reading the plaques for the historic miner homes along the way.
Be aware that the cottage is very old and comes with some old building challenges such as crooked doorways, and a few insects here and there. I personally feel it all adds to the charm and would not deter me from staying again.
