Wir haben eine Fischreinigungsstation mit Strom und Wasser, eine Gefriertruhe für Ihren Köder sowie eine industrielle Eismaschine zur Verfügung. Nur wenige Minuten zum Riff und zum Hochseefischen. Sie können Gelbschwänze, Schnapper, Zackenbarsche, Segelfische, Delfine (Mahi-Mahi), Wahoo, Thunfische, Königsmakrelen und andere Arten fangen. Wunderschönes Schnorcheln und Tauchen. Minuten zum Sombrero Beach und Bahia Honda State Park. In der Nähe der Sieben-Meilen-Brücke für den Zugang zur Golfseite und zum Angeln im Hinterland.
Sie werden unser farbenfrohes Haus genießen, mit unserem schönen beheizten Pool mit einem 3 m langen Whirlpool für Ihre Entspannung und Ihren Komfort und unserer schönen TIKI-Hütte mit einem Picknicktisch und einem eigenen Fernseher. Das Haus hat alle neuen Möbel und zentrale Klimaanlage. Wir bieten Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Wir haben einen Edelstahl-Grill, zwei Brenner Friteuse zum Kochen im Freien. Unser Haus verfügt über Premium-Kabel-TV-Service, DVD's, Play Station, Highspeed-WIFI-WLAN, einen 54-Zoll-HD-Flachbildfernseher im Wohnzimmer und jedes Schlafzimmer hat einen eigenen Fernseher / DVD. Das Hauptschlafzimmer hat ein Kingsize-Bett, das 2. Schlafzimmer hat ein Queensize-Bett und das 3. Schlafzimmer hat zwei Einzelbetten und ist ein Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer. Wir haben eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit neuen Geräten, Mikrowelle, Teller, Töpfe, Pfannen, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine, Mixer und Geschirr für Ihre Bequemlichkeit.
Es gibt Parkplätze vor dem Haus für 5-6 Autos und einen Bootsanhänger. Die Bootsrampe zum Starten Ihres Bootes befindet sich an der Bucht in der 33. Straße. Die Bootsfahrt zum Haus dauert 10-15 Minuten. VERLEIHEN SIE 2 KAJAKE UND 2 FAHRRÄDER. Unsere Adresse ist 1016 w 75. Meer, Marathon FL 33050. Wir vermieten das Haus seit 2006. Exploring the Keys

Marathon is in the middle of the Keys, and this place is in the middle of Marathon. From here, we enjoyed Key West, Key Largo, and everything Marathon has to offer! The place is well-stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day. We grilled fresh fish and ate it in the tiki area. We played pool and air hockey. The beds were comfortable too. Great place to stay!

Lives up to its name!

My adult kids, ages 21 and 24, thoroughly enjoyed this house. We used the pool and hot tub every evening and some mornings. The kids enjoyed the pool table. We felt at home from the minute we arrived until we left.

Great family vacation home in Marathon

Great house and location for a family with kids. It had everything we wanted for relaxing, cooking and eating together. The beds and sheets/ bedding were very comfortable. Decorations were cute and “keys” like. My kids loved the pool/ air hockey table, we enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and looking for fish in the canal. There is also the best park for kids on the same street. Marathon has great fishing, an aquarium encounter place to visit, Sombrero beach and great restaurants.

Excellent Place to Stay

The location and house was very nice. There were definitely some maintenance issues that need to be resolved (pool heater, pool/hot tub lighting, dryer, etc.) or it would have been a 5 star review. We still had an excellent time and the house was everything we expected. Would stay there again.

Great house To stay in me and my family I have stayed in several homes in Marathon. This was one of the best,We always rent a boat and this was a great house for that easy access to the Atlantic straight out the back door, the tiki hut the pool the hot tub and the ice maker is a game changer we really enjoyed our stay would not hesitate to return thank you for an awesome vacation!!

Great family fishing house

Owners were very nice! This house is in a good location. Very quiet. Enough room in driveway for boat trailer and truck. Very nice having the canal where we could keep our boat. The kids loved coming “home” and jumping in the pool while we were cleaning the boat. The ice machine and bait freezers worked great! They had all kinds of tools and propane for grilling with lots of outdoor space. It actually was the perfect little fishing house for our family. We even loved that they had a pool table/air hockey game inside (especially when it rained all day one day). That was a nice bonus to the house. We would recommend renting this house and will possibly stay here again if it’s available!

Keys Perfection

Our time enjoying Manny’s & Elena’s home was wonderful. The property is spotlessly clean inside and out and beautifully appointed with everything my family needed for a great week in Marathon. It’s a treat to check into a house and find everything you might need for fun, including beach towels, pool floats, and beach chairs. Manny and Elena both were extremely responsive and helpful from the day we booked through the day we checked out. My husband and I and our two children (12 & 16) had a great time. Everyone agreed we would happily stay in this home again. The pool and hot tub are particularly outstanding. Plenty of room for everyone.

Great Vacation Home

We loved our time at Best Marathon House!! Our group consisted of two couples and one infant. The location and layout was perfect for all of us. We traveled from Maine to Miami and then an easy drive to the house, same with the return a week later. Everything worked, was clean, and true to pictures during booking. The house is very user friendly. The Outside space was amazing for us, we enjoyed the Spa & Heated pool everyday. A big plus for our group was the dockage situation, we had a 26' center console for the week. Very well built seawall dockage system with fresh water house, ice machine for filling coolers. Access to the Atlantic was under 5 min, good marked channel. All of us would/ will rebook the house and have also told friends about this great find. This was a wonderful experience and highly recommend to a group, family, or two couples with children.

Dec 2010 Marathon Stay

We had a most delightful stay at Manny's home. It is in a beautiful location, close to everything. The home is even better than the description and pictures. It is very well maintained and clean. Manny is very helpful and a pleasure to work with. His communications are prompt, pleasurable and accurate. I would highly recommend this home to a relative or friend visiting the area. We would love to stay at The Best House the next time we are in the area. The house is in a great location. We visited Curry Hammock State Park, Sombrero Beach and Bahia Honda State Park. They are all beautiful and worth a visit. It is an easy drive to Key West, Key Largo and any other Key from this house. And, if you don't want to do anything, it is a great place to sit and relax. The swimming pool and hot tub are great. The sitting areas outside are comfortable and a great place to just sit around and talk! The house has everything you could ask for. We had a great time and wish to thank Manny for everything he did for us! We are hoping to make a return trip sometime in the not to distant future! Thanks again Manny.

As advertised!

Wonderful home! The property was very clean inside and out. Everything worked and you could see the pride of ownership of this house. We came mostly to fish. The dock is great and easily handled our 24 ft rental. It is a straight shot to the Atlantic and the outer channel is marked with homemade PVC markers. Once you navigate in the first time it is a piece of cake after. I have never seen a cleaner bait freezer. The commercial ice maker will spoil you. The communication with Manny and Elena was top notch. I would not hesitate to rent this home again.

paradise for all!

This property was exactly as described and more! We couldn't have been more happy with our stay from relaxing at the pool during the mornings, to the laid back location itself. The local restaurants and activities were extensive with something for everyone. We rented a boat for part of our trip and having the option to dock it at the property was nice, though we did not end up using the dock due to the higher winds during our stay. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks and would graciously stay here again!

Our names are Manny and Elena Gonzalez. We’re a friendly couple living in Fort Myers, Florida. Manny is a Licensed Florida Realtor. We first came to the island of Marathon in the Keys in 2003 for a Fishing Trip vacation with our family and fell in love with the beautiful atmosphere. We decided to buy a vacation rental there so that we could visit occasionally and provide a lovely home for other families to make great memories.
