Atemberaubendes Ferienhaus für alle Jahreszeiten, nur wenige Minuten vom Whiteface Mountain und dem Adirondack Wildlife Refugium entfernt, auf einem 2 Hektar großen Grundstück. Dieses Familienhaus besteht aus drei Schlafzimmern, einem Schlafsaal und zwei Badezimmern mit Duschen. Unser Ferienhaus verfügt auch über eine Außendusche. Dieser offene Küchen- und Wohnraum eignet sich perfekt für Familienfeiern. Dieses Ferienhaus ist ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Ski-Partys, Ironman / Halb-IM-Events und die Lake Placid Horse Show. Die Anmietung ist das ganze Jahr über wochenweise oder an mindestens drei Tagen möglich. Wir empfehlen wöchentlich für Juli und August. Internet ist vorhanden. Outstanding Home

Family of six (kids between 8 and 16) and more than enough room for everyone. The house was beautiful, very clean and had everything you'd need for a ski vacation (including a hot tub for apres ski for the kids).

Beautiful House, Great Location

The house was perfect for my guided High Peaks trip. We had 5 adults stay. The bed configuration was perfect along with multiple showers. The large open kitchen, dining room, and family was perfect to chill out after a long day of hiking. The hot tube was a bonus.

Great spot for a family holiday!

This well kept, renovated cottage is perfect for your Adirondack adventures! We loved the spaciousness of the living area. There is also a great attention paid to details that makes you feel welcome. We will be back for sure!

Great house and location

This is one of the best rental properties I have stayed at. The location is great and the house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was an added bonus. I highly recommend this property and plan on staying again when in the area.

Great High Peaks Home

We had a mixed group of friends and family for a winter holiday and everyone loved the home, property and area. It’s a very renter friendly place with thoughtful details like ski storage, two living spaces, huge well stocked kitchen and low maintenance cement (heated!) floors. The access to the Ausable across street was amazing for fishing, it’s super close to Whiteface. The beds are comfortable, the hot tub worked well and there are plenty of extra linens/blankets/towels. It’s our new favorite ski house! Thank you!

Amazing stay -- thank you for having us

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home. Our family spent Thanksgiving here and the kitchen was completely outfitted and well-suited to make any dish imaginable. The hot tub was a very relaxing touch with great views of Whiteface Mountain. We hope to come back and experience ADK in each season -- there is so much to do! Thank you for having us.

Modern Spacious Chalet

Our family of six throughly enjoyed staying at this renovated chalet. There was ample space to spread out and we enjoyed the modern take on an ADK cabin. Dan was a super responsive host, and kindly responded whenever we contacted him. The chalet was well stocked with supplies and the many coffee machine options were a joy. We loved the location near Wilmington, mountain bike trails, and scenic hikes. The nightly crackling campfires and stargazing from the backyard were true highlights!

ADK Vacation

I stayed at this house with my family for our Adirondack vacation. The house was spacious and fit our family well. The yard was amazing snd had plenty of room to run around and play games. We loved the patio and spent a lot of our time out there. The hot tub was a nice feature. I absolutely loved the kitchen and the large island! The dining table was also very large. The outdoor shower is definitely a “must do”! So refreshing! I loved the rainfall shower head. Since the temperature was in the high 80s we did not use the wood stove but would love to come back in the winter to use it snd the hot tub after a snowshoe hike.

Lake Placid Getaway

We had a wonderful time on our trip. We loved the house. There was plenty of room for all of us. The set up was amazing. We didn't do much cooking, but when we did, everything we needed was in the kitchen. We used the fire pit and the hot tub many times after long days of many fun activities. I was very sad to leave. I really enjoyed the quietness and peacefulness of the mountains. I would love to visit again.

Fantastic spot!

This is a beautiful home, the work that has been done to transform this house is amazing. Our group of 8 had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of room for everyone. We loved the huge kitchen table, long island with stools, and the 2 living rooms. Very modern with everything you'd need. We really appreciated all the extras that were provided: laundry soap, garbage bags, toilet paper etc. The back yard is beautiful, we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit every day. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed. There is a bike park a short distance away, an animal refuge right across the street; ice cream, pizza, small store close by. Great restaurant (Rudy's) right down the street. We hiked several peaks, visited Lake Placid, canoed, visited High Falls Gorge, and saw a movie in Plattsburgh on a rainy day. It was a great week and I would definitely recommend this home!!

The moment we walked in we were wowed by this house ! The kitchen is awesome and it was super clean ! I’m so glad we chose this house over a hotel . In addition everything you would like to see is close to the house … lake placid , a usable , whiteface … and of course the high peaks ! Tasteful, modern escape to the mountains

Our family of 5 had a wonderful, relaxing one week visit to Wilmington in this beautiful home. We cooked every meal in the fully-stocked kitchen. I had never used a moka pot for coffee/espresso before - loved it so much I just bought one for home! Convenient to high peak hikes, attractions, and Lake Placid, Saranac Lake. Just perfect. LOVED THIS PLACE!!

This vacation rental in Wilmington was AMAZING! Probably the best place our family has ever rented. From the moment we pulled in the driveway, we loved it. The place looks really cool and modern from the outside. The back deck has a grill and dining set by the hot tub and outdoor shower stall and it’s beautifully landscaped and private with no neighbors visible on either side or behind you. Big sliding doors go into the kitchen and family room area. Everything feels open and bright and the place was super clean. There were tons of clean, fresh- smelling towels. The kitchen is super-well stocked if you want to cook. The place was decorated very nicely and the rooms were well laid out. There was nothing this place lacked (except maybe for air conditioning- it was hot the first few days we were there, especially upstairs. They did provide great ceiling fans and electric fans though). The owner, Dan, reached out to me ahead of our stay to provide helpful information without me needing to ask him for it. He also texted me during our stay to check in and ask if I had any questions. I didn’t, but I really appreciated him taking the time to see how we were doing! We would absolutely LOVE to rent this place again, perhaps next time during ski season. It’s super close to Whiteface. Also, it’s just minutes away from many cool hiking spots - we hiked Cobble Lookout, Marble Mountain and Catamount Mountain among others. It’s the perfect home base for some fun Adirondack family adventures! Can’t say enough good things about this place!

Unbelievably perfect home and location!

Beautiful, meticulously clean home with all the necessities. From comfortable beds and bedding, to towels, blankets, cast iron pans, and tons of dishware! Enjoy the views of Whiteface from the fire pit outside and long relaxing moments in the hot tub. Close to skiing, hiking, biking, fishing and hiking. Only 5 min from the mountain and 25 min to the town of Lake Placid . Dan was attentive to all of our needs, quick, and responsive.
