Thanksgiving 2024

We really enjoyed the house ! Never did locate the recycling container. Front bedroom.was missing a window shade....we improvised with a black plastic tablecloth from Dollar Tree ! Three bedrooms were great, as well as the washer and dryer. The backyard was perfect for Dobby 🐶

Amazing Pensacola Home

This home was beautiful! The host had so many little touches that made it even better! Extra plug in places and chargers were one of them. Extra towels, and blankets. Even a beach canopy to use. Cooking essentials in the kitchen including coffee and tea. Home is laid out very open and nice. My older kids loved the hammock in the back yard they used it every night to relax in. Host answered any questions we had quickly. The beach was only a 15-20 min drive. Plenty of parks and restaurants nearby as well. We absolutely loved our time here!

Good value for large, pet-friendly family

Beautifully renovated home. I loved that we could bring our pets and the fenced-in backyard was perfect. Parking more than two cars without blocking the home in the back was one challenge. The location is great proximity to downtown and the beach but the neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy - be careful at night. Overall would stay again.

The place was awesome, enough room for my big group. Beautiful inside, very inviting and very comfy, it has everything you may need while on vacation. I would definitely recommend this place. The owner is very nice and prompt. All in all this was a very enjoyable vacation for us.

Fun times!

I have a large family (8+ people) when we stay places people tend to get nervous. This place was amazing, my family showed up and felt at home. I found the bed in the back room was perfect for my back pain. Communication with the host was easy and helpful. I will stay here again!

This was by far the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed at. Super cute, homey, and suppled with everything we needed. The beds were comfy, and the bathroom was perfect! We were so close to downtown where we needed to be 5 days while we were there. It was a wonderful vacation!!

Eastside Sunshine Escape

I genuinely enjoyed my stay at this property. The homeowner was kind, attentive, and quick to handle any request. The home is well taken care of and decorated. There are touches that make it feel like you live there. I really enjoyed the back yard, grill, and hammock. I am ver grateful that the host was gracious enough to even leave beach chairs since the location is only 10 minutes from the most beautiful beach in the gulf coast. East King’s Corner is walking distance, and they’re serving up the most delicious food. There are so many great local businesses nearby. Book & enjoy the neighborhood!

Amazing stay with few problems

All 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this host’s cottage home. The house was very clean but there were some pest problems. We saw about three rats in the back yard and a good bit of roaches, but hey we live in florida so there’s not much you can do about the roaches. Other than that the amenities and host was awesome. We felt that the host had a good setup for the kitchen supplies, maybe just add some tinfoil lol. The signs throughout the house about the check-out process and spots that pensacola had to offer around us were extremely helpful. The only reasons for a 4/5 on the location of the house is because the house is on a corner of a busy one way street that makes parking a little scary. Overall we give this stay a 9/10, and thank you so much for having us!! Everything about this place was beautiful.

Beautifully Redone Home!

We loved this house, which is located just minutes from anywhere you want to go in Pensacola! The house was exactly as pictured - beautifully remodeled and the right amount of space for our extended family and they even had mood music playing on Alexa when we arrived. :) We really enjoyed our stay. Nice stay

Nice stay. Fast and easy drive to the beach. Great location to access local sightseeing, restaurants, and shopping. Not a lot of traffic nearby nor a lot of noise. Overall good experience

Cozy and has all you need and more

Very well maintained, everything works and in great condition, It has all you need, pefect space for 4 and a pet, except it only has one bathroom. The only downside is the neighborhood, is deteriorated, noisy and scary. Other than that, you can tell the owner put a lot of effort to make your stay nice and confortable.

Girls getaway

This was a perfect place for my group of girlfriends to stay for the weekend while we visited Pensacola. It was close to downtown and the places we needed to go. The place was cute and modern, and was nicely stocked with the things we needed. The location is a bit of a sketchy part of town but we still felt safe going in and out of the house. Plenty of street parking which was great! I would stay here again!

Cute but a hike to the beach

The was beautiful and comfortable but the neighborhood did not seem to be the best. We could hear people yelling and arguing at night. It also said on the listing that the house was 15 minutes from the beach but with the main bridge being out it took us almost an hour to get to anything in Pensacola. The AC went out on our last night there and they couldn’t get anyone to come to fix it till the next day. The owner did work with us though and let us stay at another property she had with working AC for a comfortable nights sleeping. The house was nice and we had a good time but some we feel some things could have been disclosed a little better before hand.

Beautiful remodel, roomy, but a bit of a drive to the beach at the moment

My husband and I and two grown daughters just returned from a week long stay at this rental. We were impressed by the inside, and were happy to have a nice fenced in yard for our small dog. The neighbor across the street gave some friendly waves. We planned to spend the days at the beach or playing golf and we ate out for most of our meals so we didn't use the very nice kitchen much, but it seemed well stocked. The laundry machines were new and there was plenty of laundry soap if needed. Overall, we really had a nice stay, but it is close to the highway and to the train tracks which can be somewhat loud, but we mostly noticed that on the weekends. The neighborhood is about a 5 minute drive to the city center where we ate most of our meals. We found a lot of restaurants where we could sit outside and enjoy our meals with our dog in the downtown area. The description of the rental indicated that it is 15 minutes from the beach, but since the bridge is out due to a hurricane last year, it is now over an hour to get to Pensacola beach and about 30 minutes to get to Perdido Beach. We went to both, but Perdido was closer so we went there. I wish we would have known about the bridge being out, but we made the best of it. Shanna, the owner, was very easy to get in touch with and responded quickly with an issue we had due to damage from some high winds. The location was ok, but not great, but we did have a comfortable and enjoyable stay and the price was much more reasonable than staying right on the beach. The pictures of the inside are spot on.

Very pleasant and extremely comfortable

Opon arriving the house was extremely clean a cozy. In addition the kitchen was well stock with everything needed to cook all of your own meals. The bathroom was well stocked as well. I was very surprised all the soaps regarding washer was there. The location minutes from downtown. If my business travels needs me here in Pensacola again this will be thr first place I book.

Lots of Little Extras

This house is cozy and comfortable. My family and I spent a few days here and we were very pleased. Unfortunately, there had been a storm or outage of some kind so we didn't have any TV or internet, but that was no fault of the owner. We spent the time disconnected and actually had to talk to each other. A fate worse than death for teenagers, but somehow they survived. Lol. The owner is very sweet, I would definitely stay at one of her properties again. The house has a lot of extras that made it special like board games, books, spices that you wouldn't normally travel with (I cook a lot so I loved that), and laundry/cleaning products. You could tell that the owner of the property put a lot of love into it. We also had our dog with us and the yard was a nice bonus for her. She gave it 4/4 paws (dog rating scale). If you are a military family, it is close to both Corry Station and NAS and this was key for us. It is close to shopping as well. We absolutely recommend the property and would return.

Hi, I'm Shanna! My husband Craig and I are native Texans but we're beach lovers at heart. We enjoy eating out and trying new local foods, coffee, beers and wine. We like taking road trips with our three children and occasionally our fur babies. Our hobbies include fixing up houses, gardening, aquariums, snorkeling, cooking, painting and arts & crafts.

We wanted a place within walking/biking distance of Downtown. We fell in love with the tall ceilings and heart pine wood floors. We also love the yard for all the great palm trees azaleas & camellias.
