Es ist geschmackvoll mit lebendigem Dekor eingerichtet und verfügt über eine einzigartige private Kunstsammlung sowie eigene Werke von Eigentümern / Künstlern. Alle Kunstwerke können gekauft werden.
4 Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer, Essbereich neben der voll ausgestatteten Küche. Großer Wohnbereich im Obergeschoss mit wunderschönem 3-stöckigen Blick direkt neben der Küche.
Der Meister ist in der obersten Etage für Privatsphäre und verfügt über einen Whirlpool und eine herrliche Aussicht aus den Eckfenstern.
Großes Schlafzimmer im zweiten Stock für 3 Personen und ist ideal für Kinder mit seinem großen Fernseher.
Der Wohnbereich im Erdgeschoss verfügt über einen Billardtisch, einen Konferenztisch, 4 Ledersessel, einen Großbild-Surround-Sound mit Apple TV, eine Mikrowelle und einen Kühlschrank.

Lovely home

The house was lovely with large rooms and very remote!!! We booked in every night and the utensils, cookware, etc was exceptional!! We had a lovely stay!!

Luxurious Getaway

The property boasts some great views. The kitchen was incredibly well outfitted. The technology and devices were top notch. And the hosts were responsive and very friendly.

Home Away from Home at Christmas

We had nothing but a wonderful experience with this booking. The owners were so hospitable and even left us apple our and ice cream to welcome us to the home. They put up and decorated a Christmas tree and staged some wrapped empty boxes to add to the experience for our Home away from home at Christmas.the driveway is definitely steep so prepare for that but the view and home were just perfect! Our dogs loved the walls around the property and I particularly loved the artwork and the coffee time on the balcony! Literally 5 minutes from Loveless Cafe! Would definitely book here again.

Great property, lovely owners

We needed to rent the property out for a video production over a couple of days. Both owners were not just understanding and helpful, but genuinely interested in our project and making the production as easy for us as possible. They were delightful to speak with, great communicators, and went above and beyond for me. Highly recommend.

5-Star VRBO Review: A Perfect Family Getaway in Franklin, TN

This home was absolutely perfect for our family! There was plenty of space for everyone, with comfortable places to sleep and gather. The downstairs entertainment room was a highlight, it felt like a getaway within a getaway and was a favorite spot for us to relax and have fun. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed or could have wanted, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location couldn’t have been better—close to downtown Franklin, Nashville, the airport, hiking trails, vineyards, and more. While the driveway initially seemed steep, it was no trouble at all. We did notice a faint smell in some areas, and a few updates here and there could make this home even more exceptional, but it didn’t take away from our enjoyment. The hosts were incredibly welcoming—they greeted us upon arrival, showed us everything we needed to know about the house, and even left us a delicious sticky bun treat. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the Franklin area!

Daughter's Wedding

We rented this property for our family as we were in town for our daughter's wedding. The house was beautiful and we were all very comfortable. Chris and her husband greeted us at the house and showed us where things were and how they worked which was very helpful. There were many things supplied that were were so appreciative of. We loved and used the firepit as well. It was a wonderful to stay here.

Top of the hill Franklin Tennessee

Really enjoyed our stay. We were close enough for all that Nashville has to offer but also has a get away from it all! Owner was easy to deal with and we had great communication. House was large enough for us to have our own space. We were a small group of three but house would handle eight or more guests. House was well maintained butcould use a little bit of upgrades. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the piece and quite of this home!

Wonderful stay at Chris and JD’s Hilltop Escape

We had a very peaceful relaxing stay at Chris and JD’s home. The theater room downstairs was super comfy and we were able to watch my old favorite movies in honor of my 50th birthday. The kitchen is very well stocked. The family is super communicative and sweet. We loved our stay.

Tranquility on the hill

We had 9 of us come from all over the US to be together for Thanksgiving. It was so wonderful to have the space we needed to spread out but also come together for fellowship. Worked out PERFECT for us and the view out the windows is breathtaking. Chris and JD were excellent hosts with such wonderful spirits. We will definitely be back.

Chris and Don are great. Their house is beautiful. They had a water filter and bonus Nespresso Vertuo machine with pods that we loved!! Comfy beds and pillows and beautiful artwork to complement the amazing views!

Worked great for our adult family of 5

This home worked perfectly for our needs. The 4 bedrooms had additional sleeping area which was a great option if you had kids. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and many types of plates. WE needed a specific location and this is/was perfect for us. Owner very responsive and the pie that was left was delicious and a wonderful surprise. The driveway is quite steep and narrow as mentioned, be cautious at night. Beds were comfortable, couch was comfortable. This property has stairs, so if you have someone who cannot navagate that, it could be a thing. Don't hesitate to rent this property.

nice house, on a huge hill

This was a really nice house. It is big and well equipped. Very comfortable and clean. The living room and views are stunning. There was a separate thermostat for the upstairs and downstairs which was super. Drawbacks are that it is more like three bedrooms than four (the fourth basement "bedroom" doesn't have any windows, etc.); three of the bedrooms are on a different floor than their bathroom, which is a little inconvenient; and it's on top of a gigantic hill that food delivery drivers refuse to drive up. Would probably still stay here again.

Wonderful Home and Host!

Spent almost 2 weeks here with my family as we were looking to possibly move to the area. It allowed us to experience the possibility of owning a larger piece of land and spending time as a family outside. This house doesn’t disappoint!

Beautiful home with breathtaking views all around

This was a Christmas getaway vacay with family meeting us half way in the middle. We were greeted by The Wises with homemade pie and full tour of the house. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The house does have older appliances that needed some finesse to use ( the washer gets stuck in between cycles) but nothing that put a damper on our trip. The artwork is beautiful. Location of as exactly as we had hoped for - mountain life but close to the necessities. We thoroughly enjoyed this stay!

Beautiful Place to Stay

Stayed here for the Veterans day weekend and could not have asked or a nicer place to stay. Home owners were very friendly and helpful, gave a full tour and tutorial on the different features of the house. But the best had to be the homemade banana bread upon arrival. Highly recommend anyone stay who wanting the see Nashville proper or the greener side of TN.

Hi. We are Don & Chris Wise. We have been married for 50 years and have made Middle Tennessee our home of the last 30 years. JD Wise (Don) is an artist and his works can be found throughout our home and exclusively at Nina Kuzina Gallery in Nashville. He is also a Dove-nominated producer.
Chris is a decorator, loves to sing and is mother of 3 and proud grandmother of 6.

We purchased the property because it reminded us of a year-round retreat. We have had artist, authors, editors, song writers and vacationers all spend quite a bit of time brainstorming, creating and just plain relaxing here.
There are plenty of deer grazing the property (they think it's theirs), as well as whippoorwills, squirrels, owls, and turkeys.
Our favorite thing is to sit under the bright stars at night with a glass of wine and tune into relaxing music.
We know you will enjoy the peace and quiet as much as we do!
