2 makellose und schöne Schlafzimmer im zweiten Stock teilen sich einen privaten Hintereingang und ein eigenes Badezimmer in unserem Haus, nur 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß (von gepflasterten Bürgersteig!) vom alten Hafen. Perfekt für jemanden, der nach einem Ort zum Schlafen am Ende eines langen Tages voller Spaß auf Block Island sucht! (keine Küche oder Essenszubereitung)

Jedes der gemütlichen Schlafzimmer verfügt über zwei Einzelbetten, saubere Bettwäsche und Decken (Handtücher bitte selbst mitbringen). Ein Schlafzimmer verfügt über einen kleinen Kühlschrank und eine Keurig-Kaffeemaschine. Die beiden Schlafzimmer werden zusammen vermietet und teilen sich ein eigenes Badezimmer mit Dusche. Es gibt auch einen Picknicktisch im Freien, einen Liegestuhl und eine Außendusche direkt vor dem eigenen Eingang. (Es ist toll). Die Anlagen sind gut gepflegt und ein großartiger Ort, um am Ende des Tages zu entspannen.

Saubere Bettwäsche, Shampoo und Conditioner sowie ein paar Keurig-Kaffeepads sind vorhanden. Wir bitten Sie, Ihre eigenen Handtücher zur Verfügung zu stellen und die Bettwäsche nicht aus der Unterkunft zu entfernen. (Langzeitmieter sollten planen, zusätzliche Kaffeepads mitzubringen oder diese bei BI Grocery abzuholen.)

Sie erhalten einen Schlüssel für den eigenen Eingang (die Schlafzimmer selbst haben keine Schlüsselschlösser, schließen jedoch von innen ab). Für den Komfort und die Privatsphäre unserer Gäste vermieten wir die 2 Zimmer nicht einzeln, Sie haben den gesamten Raum für sich. Hausbesitzer wohnen im Erdgeschoss.

Happy stay in our happy place

Ila’s cozy bedrooms were absolutely perfect for a getaway. We were walking distance to town and our favorite restaurant. Sitting out back in the morning for breakfast and in the evening with a glass of wine was relaxing and beautiful. The outdoor shower was nice to have when coming home from the beach! Ila is accommodating, flexible, friendly, and inviting. We felt like we were at home during our stay. Thank you so much Ila and family for everything!

Perfect For Us

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at “2 Cozy Bedrooms” on High Street. The place is conveniently located an easy 10 minute walk to /from town, restaurants and Ballard’s Beach. The property was exactly as advertised, clean, cute and comfortable. We loved the patio area with hammocks, lounge chairs and table, finding it to be a relaxing and enjoyable spot. And the yard is large and perfect for kids/ lawn games. Ila is so nice and welcoming. We will look forward to staying at this property again next summer.

Just wonderful

Immaculate, warm and welcoming home with beautiful outdoor amenities including a fantastic outdoor shower. Owners were delightful and accommodating. Close to town but yard was private and beautifully landscaped. We highly recommend it.

Great stay in a great location

Four of us went for a 4 day stay. First time visiting Block Island. We brought our bikes on the ferry and were easily able to walk/bike to anything on the island. The outdoor shower was an awesome feature especially after a bike ride or walk back from town! The host is super friendly, cool and knowledgeable about the happenings on the island. Highly recommended.

Cozy Gem!

This is our fourth summer at Ila’s place and she offers the perfect accommodations. Beautifully suited for walking to town and the action, especially Aldos! And, at the same time we had a peaceful and quiet stay. The two bedroom rental is exactly as listed and shown, no surprises. My favorite part was Ila greeting us with a welcome basket full of BI guide books, Keurig cups, utensils, and mini toiletries. Thank you both! We will be back once again!

Memorable!!

Our stay was amazing. We had all our needs and the host was wonderful. The location is so close to town yet quiet as well. We hope to visit Block Island again and will definitely stay at the property again. The owner just added a beautiful area outside the Vrbo entrance. Ila and Marty are fun and knowledgeable of the local events going on on Block. Definitely a 5STAR!!!

Perfect spot for friends to stay on block

While there’s no common area, the two bedrooms each have two twin beds. The outdoor shower is fantastic. It’s a great place to stay with friends for the weekend. Everything was very clean. A short walk to town. The hammock and yard are gorgeous so we barely spent any time inside anyways. We ran in to Ila and she is so nice and fun! I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent vacation rental in beautiful Block Island

From the moment we got there, the homeowner welcomed us with cold drinks in the refrigerator and cookies, along with other essentials to make our family of four comfortable. The house was spotless, beds comfortable and the outdoor shower was amazing! The homeowners were extremely responsive, yet also offered total privacy. The location was very convenient to downtown restaurants and beaches. We are looking forward to visiting again next summer!

Ila continues to maintain a great little property that our family loves renting out each year. The cottage is a short walk down the hill to downtown, and Ila goes out of her way to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Great Stay

I enjoyed the stay at this location at the height of the summer on Block Island. It was close to the downtown and even though there were no kitchen facilities, we did not miss them. The outdoor shower was a plus especially if you spend time on the beaches. The owners were quite accommodating with my requests including assisting me in getting my luggage to the boat and a place to store it while I waited for the boat. I also happened to stay a little too long beyond check out, but they were gracious in accommodating me in spite of my confusion. I highly recommend this rental.

A very Happy 4th of July Cottage!

The Happy Cottage was perfect! The cottage was very charming and perfect for our stay. Fresh flowers in each bedroom, use of the beautiful yard, grill and firepit. Less than a half mile to Old Harbor, a very easy walk. Ila was a wonderful host who couldn’t have done more for us. Gave us Blockopoly to play, a kite to fly on the beach, firewood for the firepit. One highlight of the trip was seeing Ila driving the Grand Marshalll in the 4th of July parade! We were so lucky to have found this cottage and it having availability on the 4th of July week. We would definitely recommend the Happy Cottage to others.

Perfection lodging Block Island

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The property is pristine and has gorgeous flowering gardens everywhere. After 30 years of coming to Block Island and staying at many many luxury homes, this was an absolute treasure. The residence was incredibly clean while having all the most thoughtful touches. We were very comfortable for over a 2 week stay. The beds are very comfortable, with ergonomic mattresses,The outdoor shower was Heaven on earth amd perfect after a day playing in the sea.Best of all were our hosts, Ila is kind,warm,and made us feel very welcome. We had plenty of privacy and anytime we had a special request, she responded immediately. The proximity to town was so convenient and the property was very quiet. Treat yourselves and stay here, it’s so special and we hope to return! Thank you Ila! We loved staying at your home!!💚💚

Even better than I hoped

This lovely, quiet 2 bedroom apartment was truly wonderful. The space was spotless, beds were comfortable, AC was a plus, and the grounds are beautiful. It's an easy walk to town and yet away from the noise and crowds. Ila was so easy to work with and very welcoming. I look forward to staying again!

Thank you, Ila!

Ila's house is lovely and the accommodations were perfect. The location is perfect -- close to town but quiet with a bucolic backyard. The outdoor shower was really terrific, especially since the indoor shower had a low ceiling (it's an old house kept in nice condition). I truly hope my family can return one day to the island paradise that is Block Island and Ila's place is a fantastic place to stay.

Lovely cottage

A lovely cottage with private entrance and bath. Ila, our host, was wonderful. Friendly and helpful. The rooms & bath were very clean. A/C was a blessing due to humidity! Close to town and restaurants/shops etc. Highly recommend. Would book again.
