Wonderful stay in the heart of Paris

This three bedroom apartment was perfect for our family, which includes two teens. Literally steps from the Ile de Cite, metro/RER, and a taxi stand, it was easy to get to everything. The surrounding neighborhood is touristy but also has good restaurants, a small grocery store, and several bakeries. The apartment is incredibly quiet considering its location and the views of the Seine are lovely. It is very well appointed, with dishes, appliances, linens, and cleaning products. Although there is only one toilet, it was very nice to have two showers/sinks and a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and 3/4 size fridge. The staff at the restaurant downstairs were so nice and communication with the property manager was easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location in Paris

Steps from many tourist attractions and easy access to Metro, RER, taxis and Uber for any that are too many steps away. The place is spacious and well kept and communication was great. I always appreciate reviews that give a heads up about quirks of a VRBO, so here are mine (mirrored in other reviews): You'll get both a metal key and a key fob to enter the apartment. Fob to enter building, key to enter apartment. The 15-step spiral staircase is pretty tough for luggage (and if you have mobility issues). We used 2 people to get luggage up and it worked fine but it was a workout. There are 2 showers and only 1 toilet (all in separate rooms). Police station nearby. My wife and I never heard it, and neither did my son, but my daughter said she could hear the sirens outside her window often. There is also a white noise buzz in the apartment (sounds like a water pump maybe?). This didn't bother us, but I've seen other reviews mention it and can confirm there is a vibration sound that kicks on and off.Check in is easy with the restaurant downstairs and if you need food (besides from there), there are many cafes and a market in the area. I'd definitely recommend this location for anyone coming to Paris.

Very nice apartment in the PERFECT location

Stayed w/ family during the Olympics. What an amazing location. Literally cross the street and walk over the bridge and you are on Ile De La Cite. There is a Metro Station (and a cab stand) IMMEDIATELY outside the door. And despite all of this, the apartment itself was cool and very quiet. This was our third VRBO in Paris and definitely our favorite.

Location, location, location!

Modern, super clean and very spacious! Bedrooms are big as is kitchen. Appreciated the coffee! Beautiful bathrooms. Great orange just at the market across the street! Can’t hear or smell the restaurant below- it wasn’t an issue at all!the train station is right downstairs and you can walk to everything! Great host communication- was able to let us stay an extra night. Stairs are hilarious. Thumbs up!

Omissions in advertising are glaring!! Only one toilet-bathrooms ( by definition) US have toilets and showers (or tubs)-so apt didn't really have two bathrooms-also it was a walk-up over a 24/7 open restaurant, the walkup was a narrow circular staircase that was difficult to take luggage up and down and perhaps a fire hazard. The stairwell was totally open to the hallway - very near two bedroom doors-at night particularly one could easily be disoriented and fall into the stairwell. The common rooms were well insulated from the outside noise, but there was consistent rumbling noise in the bedrooms throughout the day and night, We don't know if it was from the restaurant or metro. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils and dishes=only lacking a cutting board. The microwave was placed over the refrigerator=a very strange placement making it impossible for anyone but an NBA player to use without having to employ a stool. I had asked Michael if there was a booklet with information on the apartment's appliances and general information about the area. All apartments that I had previously rented in Paris had one. The manager said no, but that it was a good idea. In fact there were two-one in English and one in French. Unfortunately, the booklets were in the utility room-not out on a counter and we only found them the last day, The booklets did not,however, have instructions for the washing machine. We were able to use the washing system but not the drying

Latin Quarters

We stayed here for 3 nights. This is in the latin quarters district. Close to Notre Dame. You can see it from the windows. It is true that Paris is rhe city that never sleeps! Lots of nightlife! Restaurants, shops, cafes and stores right there! We enjoyed ourselves!

Fabulous location and spacious accommodation

This apartment is unbeatable in its location right on the quai st Michel and steps from saint Chapelle and Notre Dame. It is very spacious by Parisian standards and offers great appliances for a stay in Paris. We loved the proximity to everything and we enjoyed watching the crowds from our Birds Eye view, directly above Le Depart St Michel, which is a good place for a lunch or dinner. We would have loved a few more personal touches like teabags and good quality soap and shampoo etc, but these were minor inconveniences in the light of the centrality and size of the location.

Excellent location

Apartment in the Latin Quarter, perfect location. You need to review the floor plan as it only has one toilet and a steep flight of stairs to enter the unit. Great spacious family area. Bedrooms were also spacious.

Location Location Location!!!

1. This lovely and spacious apartment is located in the center of Paris, with Notre Dame within a five minute walk. 2. There is a restaurant, Le Depart Saint-Michel, just below it with a very friendly and helpful staff, an extensive menu, so there is something for everyone, and outdoor seating. Be sure to ask for Gregory, the manager, if you have any special requests, and Sebastian, who aims to please! 3. The metro is a few steps away. For those who have never taken a subway, like the Nike slogan, “Just do it!”If you are unsure of how to use it, there are maps and people who will help. It is a wonderful, cultural experience. 4. The apartment is surrounded by many restaurants and boutiques. 5. Now for the view! Most of the rooms have large windows that overlook the city. I found it entertaining to sit by a window from early morning as traffic starts to build up. Crowds of pedestrians can be seen walking along the pavement. The windows are soundproof, so open them to hear the exciting sounds of cars, taxis and motorcycles! The owner, Maikel, aims to please, and if you have any concerns, he will give them immediate attention. The apartment is nicely decorated and is extremely clean. We have traveled all over the world and have never experienced such immaculate accommodations! Thank you Maikel for your contribution to our amazing visit, and helping to make our 50th wedding anniversary, a joyful family event filled with many precious memories! Blessings!

Great place

The flat was great. The location was superb. Close to all the great sites in Paris, and if not, the metro station is literally steps away. There is also a RER stop across the street if you wanted to go outside of the city, such as Versailles. The unit itself was clean and exactly as described. We were a family of six, all adults. The air-conditioning worked perfectly. Only thing is there is only one toilet area. Be aware of that. Not a big deal, but worth noting. Would definitely stat here again.

Great time in Paris

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was my family of 4 and there was plenty of room for all of us. We loved the view from the living room onto the river and the proximity to charming shops/restaurants, the metro, a market and beautiful places to visit such as St Chapelle! We also really appreciated the air conditioning. Tip: the croissants at the restaurant below the flat are the best we had in Paris! I would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect apartment and location in Paris

What a perfect location for a family of 5 (13 year old, 14 year old, 19 year old, and two adults). Maikel was a very considerate and responsive host from beginning to end. Since it was our first time in Paris, he made sure we have what we needed in the apartment as well as all of our inquiries answered. When the Louvre was sold out he suggested an alternative site where we could get tickets. The apartment was very comfortable, clean, spacious, easy to find and very secure. You can see the Metro, River Seine, Louvre, Notre Dame from the apartment windows - all of which are within walking distance. Another plus is having a café directly below the apartment. What a great way to see the culture, the vibe, and the bustling day and night life of Paris. Thank you Maikel for being an amazing host and for having a perfect place for visiting Paris!

The absolute best location in Paris for a few days of site seeing! Mikael and his team were incredibly responsive and even sent someone to the property to walk us through a few items we could not figure out. Perfect location, perfect apartment

We stayed at this property Dec 2023. It was perfect in every way - location, comfort, cleanliness, spaciousness, modern amenities, great linens and comfortable beds. The owner was very responsive and communication was easy. We were 2 friends, and the apartment felt very luxurious with all the space. The metro stop was steps from our door. And the view - overlooking the Seine, and it was fun to watch life going by in Paris right outside our window every morning. Would definitely stay again!!

Perfect Parisian Stay

This apartment was in a fabulous location close to everything. The host was communicative leading up to and during the trip. Yes, there is only one toilet, despite three ‘bathrooms’ but that is very common in Paris. This apartment was spacious for our stay with my three teen/tween children, husband and mother. We used a travel agent for all other elements of our trip but when she saw what we had booked on our own, she told us this listing was better than anything she had to offer. Also, the restaurant downstairs, Le Depart, was wonderful for a Parisian breakfast - cafe au lait or hot chocolate, croissants and baguette, Nutella or fruit preserves, and fresh squeezed orange juice. This was perfect for our needs! Book this listing and you won’t regret it!

A perfect Paris stay!

The property is lovely, clean, comfortable, well appointed, and quiet. My family stayed for a week with our three young children. It was perfect. A great location. But best of all it is quiet and comfortable, a respite from long days of touring. We loved looking out at all the activity on the Parisian streets below, and views of Notre Dame, San Chapelle, and the Louvre all from the peaceful apartment interior. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. Definitely will stay here anytime we return to Paris and will send everyone we know here! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Excellent Apartment

We loved the apartment. Plenty of room for our family and a nice living room to hang out in. The location was absolutely perfect. Close to shops, restaurants and shopping. Easy to communicate with the manager and they were very attentive to our needs. It would have been nice to have a few extra blankets, coffee or any basics ... the place was absolutely bare bones. But very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!!

Central location, lovely apartment

If you want to be in the heart of Paris, including the heart of tourism, this is the place. With a view of the Seine, easy walking access to metros that take you to and from the airport, and having the Latin Quarter back cobblestone streets out your backdoor, this is the place. Inside it's spacious, with modern kitchen (although we couldn't figure out how to get the dishwasher to work - would be great if there were clear instructions) and nice bedrooms, including an expansive counter-top workspace in the master bedroom. The owner/manager was very responsive and lovely, and it all made for a seamless stay - in spite of the garbage strike!
