Excellent stay in Kapaa

Wonderful place to spend our week on Kauai. Condo accommodated our family of 4 well. Had everything we needed. We were fine without A/C which was a concern of mine on booking and was thankful that the fans were enough. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Great corner view of ocean

It had everything we needed in kitchen. Very nicely decorated and updated. Had washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven…corner unit with good breezes, fans kept us cool. View of ocean and sunrises.

Best view, right on water. Low key which is what we wanted.

Once we found the unit (address was in an email that I missed so my fault for struggling to locate). Property manager saved the day and directed us to location. Apartment was comfortable and we were pleased with the unit. We wanted low key and quiet at night and that's what we got! Great price for being right on the ocean with a beautiful view. Woke up to amazing sunrises. We were quite happy Kauai Kailani.

Great ocean front property

My family enjoyed our stay. The location is great, right on the ocean, very close to a grocery store and restaurants. Property is clean, nicely decorated and easily fits family of 4. Jay was very responsive and helpful. We would come back.

Marvelous

Magnificent location! End unit with wonderful sunrise views from the balcony. The unit was very clean and stocked. The washer and dryer is a huge bonus (bring liquid soap). Assigned parking spot is conveniently located next to elevator if you choose to use. Wonderful cool ocean breeze from every angle is amazing as well.

Good option

My stay here was pretty good as it’s right next to the beach. you get a great breeze which is necessary as there is no AC. there were some issues with the plumbing and floors/counters were a little sticky, but overall loved the location, and beds were comfortable.

Great property

The unit was perfect for me and my 2 teen kids. Opening windows helped keep the humidity and temperature down. Having the washer and dryer was great. We cooked breakfast every morning there and appreciated the amenities. Location right on the beach was gorgeous.

The until was clean and had everything we needed - all we had to buy was our own groceries. Great spot to head out from for each days worth of fun. And on days we stayed, the pool was great! A gem!

Highly recommend this gem of a location. Oceanfront waves, epic sunrises, walkable shoreline, swimming pool, and community room are all bonuses. The condo is on the top floor with 2 extra ocean-facing windows. One bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, ample storage space, extra linens & slat windows that allow the ocean waves to lull you to sleep. One flex room with two comfy twin beds, more ample storage space & a closet full of beach gear. Beautiful lanai, updated & fully stocked kitchen, multiple dining areas, and treats upon arrival. Place was immaculate and worked great for our family of three. Our 11 yo loved the pool & shoreline. There were no photos of the bathroom, but it was updated, fully stocked with both bath towels & beach towels as well as a washer & dryer. Jay was kind, informative & a pleasure to communicate with. We’d definitely stay here again.

The shopping bag came in very handy

I'm in the majority of reviewers. It was a great stay....nothing could have made it better. And the heavy duty shopping bag was perfecr for going across the street to Safeway or hauling stuff to the beach. Perfection!

Like coming home...

Wonderful stay at the Kauai Kailani. I'm originally from Kauai but left years ago to live on the mainland. Returning home to stay at a hotel makes you feel like a tourist, our unit at the Kauai Kailani felt like being home. Clean updated unit, it had everything we needed for our stay. Our two boys made good use of the bodyboards! The corner view of the pool and beach is great for waking up to the sunrise each day. Would definitely come back again.

Great condo…listen to the ocean all day!

3rd floor condo with a beautiful view of the ocean and sunrise. Centrally located, easy drive south to Poipu or north to Hanalei. Sheila, owner of a local housekeeping business, was responsive to any need we had. We had an enjoyable week and would return to this condo again. The only suggestion I have is that the lounges around the pool are pretty worn, hopefully the overall owners will replace them before we return again. Thank you!

We will return again. Checks all of the boxes for us. We love hearing the ocean from inside. The only con is we are used to filtered water and the water filling the ice maker didn’t taste good to us, but we got by without ice. Sheila is the best!

Great relaxing vacation for our family of 4

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!. Both Jay & Sheila, the on-island contact, were very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. It is an end unit facing the ocean, and gets great air flow from both the front and side windows, so we never felt not having AC was an issue (we had warm temps of 88* everyday). Views from the lanai are great, and give daily opportunities to see the sunrise each day. The appliances all work as expected, with the exception of the Keurig, but having the regular drip coffee maker as backup made this a non-issue. The beds are all comfortable and no one in our party complained. Lots of storage in the dresser, closets and bank of drawers in the second bedroom. Having beach accessories and chairs available for our use was also very helpful. Overall was a very relaxing stay, and we would happily recommend this unit to others looking for accommodation on the east shore.

it's a great location

the place is located centrally in Kapaa and is oceanfront. the lull of the waves put us to sleep. pool was great, kitchen was very neat. only thing was that the bed in the master bedroom was not very comfortable. but would stay here again, thank you Jay and Sharyn

Perfect Location! Can't wait to return!

The condo is right on the beach! The balcony is the perfect spot to enjoy the waves with morning coffee. Every little detail is carefully thought through, with many thoughtful touches. We could not have asked for an easier check-in. On site support, Shiela, is a total hoot! She was around to help whenever there was a question. Jay is a joy to work with. Shopping is right across the street. It could not have been better in any way!

Comfortable place right on the beach

The unit had everything we needed and was in a perfect location next to shops, restaurants, and a path that runs next to the ocean. While the unit doesn’t have ac, there was a nice breeze 24x7. We would definitely stay here again. Sunrises from the balcony are amazing!

Raised our kids coming to these units for the last 40 years when they were time share. Now as fee simple we purchased and welcome our grandkids.

Smaller private resort great for families. We call it the village as we get to know others and look out after one another. There is a major reef about a mile off shore that makes the near shore safe for shallow water snorkeling, ideal for younger kids. Great walking and biking trails all along the coconut coast. Near services and restaurants.

From our deck you can greet the spectacular sunrises and whales jumping as they pass by. The ever changing ocean views adds to the serenity while reading or just leisurely sunning. Kaui a small round island, thus you can find the weather you like not a great distance away.
