Villa Mer befindet sich in den Shipyard Condominiums im Nebengebäude von Truman. Die Werft liegt im Herzen der Altstadt von Key West an der ehemaligen US-amerikanischen U. S. Marineeigentum von Trumans kleinem weißem Haus. Nur wenige Schritte von der Duval Street entfernt und nahe der Ft. Der Strand von Zach und Hemingways Haus, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten von Old Key West sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Unsere private Oase kann Ihr tropischer Rückzugsort sein.

Best place for a getaway!!

First, the owner was amazing and very accommodating. The condo was well stocked with everything you need. The beds were super comfy and we had such a good time. This is definitely one of the best places to stay!!

Great Location and Place to Stay

I highly recommend this place and can honestly say this is by far the nicest place I have stayed in Key West and have stayed in a dozen different spots in the area around Duval Street. Modern kitchen, clean well maintained common areas, comfortable beds, and all the amenities anyone could ever ask for in a rental in a good location that was walkable to everything in Key West.

Well appointed Condo and close to everything

This condo is Great! This was our fourth stay at a condo in the Truman Annex and our favorite. It's comfortable, close to everything yet still quiet and relaxing. The owners made the check in and out seamless and easy! Would definitely recommend!

Perfect Stay!

The hosts thought of everything we would need for our stay. It was clean and easy to walk to everything we wanted to do/see. We had one question and the host answered immediately and helped us right away. We will visit again!

Great Location But The Patio and Community Grounds are Really Rough

The condo on the inside was clean and had everything we needed. The owner was also very responsive. The location is also great. Our only compliant is how dirty the patio was. Piles of leaves, old dirty flower pots and the pavers need to be pressured washed. There was really no way to enjoy the patio because it was just too dirty. The community it’s set needs a lot of TLC.

Great location and garden

The inside space was very nice and had what we needed for the week, including a washer and dryer. The location was wonderful and within walking distance of everything. Garden space was great. Overall a fabulous experience in Key West!

We really liked how modern this place was. We have stayed at other locations that are outdates. Be aware though, this is on the ground level so you can hear people next to you and above although we will try and stay here again! Thx

Perfect location for a family!!

We're a family of 5 that booked a last minute vacation to key west...options were very limited for us. But Joe was very kind and welcomed our family to rent his condo. It was a little tight with only 1 bathroom, but we made it work. I loved that we didn't need to bring/buy much for our stay (We ended up with a box of supplies that we didn't need). The kitchen was nicely stocked with essentials, even a blender for smoothies. The decor was nicely done and felt like home. The cable and wifi came in handy when we had a down day. The condo is close to Duval for the adults and there's a pool and splash pad around the corner for the kids. The only downside was that during our stay the neighbors dog barked all hours of the night and im pretty sure the upstairs neighbor didn't sleep at all. (Both of these things are no fault to the owners but something to note). Other than that, we really loved our stay! The patio was our favorite place to hang out, drink coffee and watch iguanas walk by.. It was very peaceful and relaxing stay. I def recommend! Thanks again!! :)

Great place to stay in Key West!

Excellent location in The Shipyard, two blocks off Duval and convenient to everything! . The unit was nicely furnished and had a very nice patio in the back, perfect for morning coffee or afternoon (and evening) cocktails. Owner was very communicative with us and easy to work with. We will definitely stay here again!

Nice location.

We really enjoyed our stay and the location was great but we did run into some issues. There were some slight cleanliness issues and the cleaners came into the back patio area unannounced and scared my wife who was not expecting to see anyone there. There was also an exterminator who came by insisting on spraying the property while we were there, this should be scheduled during turn overs while guests and their items are out of the property. One other item to note is that there are pictures of nude women on the beach hanging in one of the bedrooms that may be an issue if you have kids staying there and as an adult that was not something I was expecting to see in a rental.

Great unit, great location

We just checked out of the unit today after a wonderful week. This is a very nice first floor unit in the Shipyard at Truman Annex. The unit is fully stocked with everything you could need during your stay, including pool towels. The unit is up to date and clearly well maintained. We enjoyed morning breakfast on the back patio, while watching the iguanas climb up and down trees on occasion. The unit is 2 blocks from Duval Street, 1 block from the Green Parrot, and about a 15 min walk to amazing sunsets at Fort Zachary. I hope to be able to return to this unit again, and I highly recommend you book this unit if it’s available.
