Vail Resorts was great to work with as the property manager for this condo. The price is good for what you get and we were on a budget so I am happy overall. The condo itself is nice enough. Comfortable beds and furniture, well-supplied kitchen, convenient location. But the owner has let it run down a bit. The wood holding the window openers needs to be replaced and the shower doors are falling apart. Also, it is hot inside during the summer. Like most mountain residences, this condo doesn't have A/C. The owner has thankfully supplied two fans that one can put in front of the open windows. However, even after running the fans non-stop for 24 hours, the temperature was still about 10 degrees hotter than it was outside. Something else to think about is that this is a ground floor unit. When the windows are open and the drapes drawn back to increase air flow, you have little privacy. People walking by can look right in at you. Perhaps horizontal blinds would be a better window treatment. They would still allow air flow but could be adjusted for privacy. In summary, this is a great place to rent during the cooler months but not so great during summer.
