Absolutely wonderful!

Everything about this rental is terrific. The location is perfect. Close enough to 5th Avenue. There are lots of food and shopping options within walking distance. The apartment is clean and well-maintained. The views are incredible. The staff is attentive and professional. Edith was great. She helped us set transportation and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. I can't wait to go back!

Christmas Trip

The condo is as described, however, the sleeping situation with two boys who are 6'2 and 6'3 was not ideal. In our opinion, the bedroom with the queen bed would need to be replaced with a king in order to sleep six adults. With that said, the location and beach were perfect as was the security who was present 24/7.

Amazing, clean and everything we needed. We had beautiful stay here. Everything was superb and would totally stay here again. All the workers and staff were so nice and helpful. If you're thinking about it, just book it.

Fantastic Stay

Property was exactly as advertised. Roof top patio and private beach area were really nice. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and shopping. Edith and Anna made sure we had everything we needed, set us up with airport transportation and an amazing day with a local private guide.

Nicely appointed condo on the beach

Our family of three (daughter 20yr old) enjoyed this spacious condo on the beach. We loved starting our morning on the roof top living area watching the sun rise. The condo was well maintained and very clean. Playa Del Carmen (PDC) is struggling with seaweed. They did the best they could daily getting it cleaned up.

Excellent stay

Our stay was wonderful. We hardly wanted to leave the house. The location is great except for the construction. It is so close to the water and super close to the main restaurant and shopping area. It's all super walkable. The construction next door was only a problem when we were at the beach or the rooftop patio and I know this isn't their fault, but it does detract from the relaxation. The stay was gorgeous. All the beds were comfy. The kitchen is well equipped. The doormen were very helpful.

We love this place!

This is a beautiful property! We loved the rooms and the full kitchen. Very clean and right on the beach. The pool is spectacular, warm and so comfortable. The host was super quick to respond and so helpful. Edith took such good care of us and checked in on us to make she we had everything we needed. The new building going up across the street was not an inconvenience at all. They started later in the morning and always finished by 5:00. The building is well insulated and we really didn’t hear very much of the construction noise. We were having too much fun and relaxing to be bothered by it. I would recommend this place even with the building noise. You won’t be bothered by it!!

Great Vacation!!! Great Condo!!

This was my first time on the East coast of Mexico and we were excited to explore the area. We had two adults and 4 kids at this property and I could not have been more happy with our selection. The owners were so responsive prior to, during and after our stay. We needed an air mattress and they generously secured that for us ahead of our stay. The suggestions for restaurants (save for the Mayan Bistro) were excellent!! All the suggestions from a driver at the airport to activities were helpful and spot on. We could not have had a better time, well, I'm sure we would have managed to without the kids. The extra space on the roof was heaven, we spent a lot of time up there. The proximity to everything was terrific. We loved this place!! The staff at the development were so nice and helpful. We would recommend this property highly and will definitely go back!

Great location & friendly staff

Edith was our property manager and she was incredibly nice, quick to assist with transportation & activities near by plus anything on property. Really can’t stress enough how awesome she was before arriving and during our stay. Thank you for assisting with pickup & drop off at condo/airport & other transportation needs for our group of 7. Place was nicer than in pictures. The terrace was beautiful plus the property is very quiet and at times we had pool to our selves. Staff very courteous. Condo was generously stocked with everything you’d expect plus driver made a stop at grocery store at beginning of our trip. Which was helpful for starting our trip. You have everything you need. Ferry to Cozumel 5 minutes away, 5th street right there too. Everything walking distance. We had teasportion to visit Tulum to one side, Puerto Morelos the other side, xcarate near by plus ferry to Cozumel near by too. That made doing a lot in the area easy.

Construction Noise

We were booked December 17-Jan 3rd. The unit is very nice and the top floor patio is super nice, with lots of outside furniture and a grill. The reason for a lowered rating is due to the construction noise, and the owner/manager not letting know this in advance. We paid over $12,000 USD for this property rental and would have appreciated either a warning about the noise or a reduction in the price. We got neither. There was very loud noise just outside the front door at the construction site where a multi floor structure is being erected. This included Jack hammers and cement trucks and pumpers. Be aware and ask. Due to this, I don’t think the unit is worth the price the owner is asking for it.

Fabulous location!

The location was perfect! Within walking distance of the main strip but still quiet, plus right on the beach! Plenty of space for our group of 6 to spread out and everything you need to feel home away from home. Edith the PM was attentive, checking in a few times and arranging cleaning around our plans and Abdias was so awesome, making sure we had chairs, umbrellas, tables, food and drink recommendations../whatever we needed! We had a great time. I do want to caution that there is construction going on across the road so it did get pretty noisy around 7:30 am most days.

Tremendous value

We really enjoyed our stay at Luna Encantada! The unit is well cared for and had everything we needed. The location can’t be beat if you want to stay in town. The rooftop patio can’t be beat. We also had quick access to all the restaurants and retail stores on 5th Ave. and we were beach front so a great combination! The only draw back is that there is construction next door and that was pretty noisy during the day. You could not hear it when you’re on the beach so not too bad. Edwin from the restaurant/beach club right next door, Inti, is very attentive and will make sure you have a cold drink and food at all times. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Beautiful condo and amazing location!

We loved everything about our stay! The condo was beautiful and close to restaurants, shopping, excursions and of course the beach. Edith was so easy to work with and responsive. It was easy to schedule a dr to come to the condo to do our Covid tests before flying home to the US. We rented a car and had a safe place to park at the condo. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again!

Very nice property

Excellent location, close and accessible to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc. The property was well equipped. There is a bit of noise that can be heard through the walls from the music playing at the beach club next door but it ends by 10 or 11pm. The property manager came by twice during our five day stay to check on us and see if we needed anything. My only point of feedback is to encourage the owner to swap out the lockbox and single key for an electronic keypad entry system. It would make it easier for individuals within the group to come and go from the condo.

Perfect Condo for an Amazing Get Away!

We loved this condo: the building amenities, location, and the staff! The condo was spacious, super clean, and well appointed with everything we need for a fun family get away. The roof top private balcony was the bomb. It is huge and has amazing views of the ocean. We loved starting and ending our days up there. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make a gourmet meal. The beds were super comfortable and the unit was very quiet which led to all of us getting a great nights sleep during our stay. Luna Encantada is a beautiful building! The staff is very friendly and helpful and we felt very safe and secure during our stay. Edith, the unit manager, checked in on us daily and made sure we had everything we needed! She was so friendly and helpful! The infinity pool was pristine and serene. The beach and ocean in front of the building is also perfect. The beach attendant was very attentive and assured we had loungers and umbrellas in place everyday. We enjoyed drinks and food from INTI Beach all day long. The waiters from INTI came over and checked on us frequently. We couldn't have asked for a better unit, building, and location!

Covid Break becomes Best Holiday ever!!

This property has a great location and setup. Located right off the beach with an infinity pool to the edge of the beach. Restaurants on both sides so easy to order drinks and food, or have massages. Edith the host on site is simply amazing!!! She will help you arrange everything from transport, tours, Covid testing, to just a restaurant recommendation. Thank you so much for the much needed break from all this Covid madness!!

Can’t wait to come back!

From the perfect three bedroom set up, to the option to have groceries ready and a chef the first night, to the AMAZING on site staff (we will miss you Edgar!), to the immaculately maintained huge infinity pool, to the stunning and comfy roof top, to the proximity to beach and shops and restaurants! Fantastic A3

We have stayed at the Luna Encatada property annually for the past 6 years. This year we rented A3 which is a three bedroom unit. We give it the maximum stars available! The pictures are representative of the unit. It is well decorated and frankly one of the nicest condo’s that we have stayed in at the complex. The kitchen is well stocked with daily wares and the gas grill on the rooftop is a bonus! The views from the rooftop are great and we spent every evening there. Edith (property manager) is thorough and attentive as are all of the team members at Luna. They all do everything in their power to make sure you enjoy your stay. We booked direct with the owner Amy who was very responsive and timely with any correspondence we had. We highly recommend this unit and there is no doubt we will be returning. Thank you Amy! We have been coming to Luna Encantada since soon after it was built. We had always dreamed of owning our own piece of heaven and we made that dream come true. As native Minnesotans we truly appreciate the gorgeous weather in Playa and the charm of the local shops and people.

Luna Encantada is on the beach and steps away from 5th ave and far enough from the night clubs to make it quiet. The design of the complex encompasses the true feeling of a Mexican Villa, as well as the condo being decorated in beautiful local Mayan art.
With its central location you can walk every where and no vehicle is required. Safe, secure building and amenities abound.
