Das Hale 'O Malina befindet sich im schönen Dorf Waikoloa. Das "Village", wie es liebevoll genannt wird, befindet sich gleich neben erstklassigen Golfplätzen, unberührten Stränden, atemberaubenden Resorts, tollen Restaurants und vielem mehr!

Dieses Haus verfügt über Gewölbedecken im Familienzimmer, eine aktualisierte Küche, Klimaanlage und Deckenventilatoren im gesamten Gebäude. Im Obergeschoss finden Sie 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder, darunter der Meister. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein zusätzliches Schlafzimmer und ein Badezimmer. In diesem Haus haben Sie die Wahl, drinnen oder draußen zu speisen und dabei den Blick auf die Berge und das Meer zu genießen.

Genießen Sie nach einem langen Tag am Strand den Komfort einer privaten Außendusche. Entspannen Sie sich anschließend im privaten Whirlpool im Freien oder am Kamin. Beobachten Sie den Sonnenuntergang von der Veranda im Obergeschoss aus, während Sie einige unserer frischen Inselfische grillen.

Während Ihres Aufenthalts in Hale 'O Malina können Sie den gemeinschaftlichen Golfplatz, den Pool und die Tennisplätze von Robert Trent Jones nutzen. Perfect place for a family vacation

The house has everything a family needs for a great vacation. Communication with the property manager is also top notch. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Bog Island.

Lovely, large home close to great beaches

We stayed with our family of 7 adults. Check in was easy and the home was clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking a variety of meals at home. It was great to have beach chairs and gear that we could take to the beach. We would love to stay here again!

Hawaiian Paradise

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hale o Malina! The home was clean and a perfect space for a mid-size family (we had 7 in our party). The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals there. We ate nearly every meal on the BEAUTIFUL wrap around porch that overlooked the ocean. Now let’s talk about the grounds. The whole outside of the house is a tropical paradise! Our boys loved running around the yard looking for geckos, falling coconuts and playing ball. The porch has so many quiet, cozy spaces to soak in the quiet of the neighborhood and beautiful views! The back yard is so relaxing with the fire pit and hot tub. The outdoor shower was a super fun and unique addition-our boys loved cleaning off in there after a long day at the beach. The only slight downside is how far the property is from beach access. It’s a minimum 20 min drive to the local beaches. But it’s also nice to be close to the mountain pass to get to the other side of the island faster than when staying in Kona. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful home

Loved the house and the view. Great location and awesome sunset views from the poarch. Only issue was the ac was not central ac and the one mini split in the main kitchen and livingroom was not adequate. No air in bathrooms abedrooms stay cool if you left on all day

Wonderful Home

My family had an amazing time staying here. The home is beautiful and spacious. It had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this space. It was conveniently located to everything we wanted to see and do. Hapuna Beach is right down the road and we visited twice during our stay. I can't speak highly enough about our stay here. Amazing Hawaii Stay

The house was amazing. The property was exactly as mentioned. The location in our opinion was part of the draw of this. It was away from the coast a little that so it provided a rest from the heat (a little). Overall a great location and house. We will definitely stay there again if we go back to the big island.

WONDERFUL HOME

We will treasure our stay in this great home for years to come. The home is beautifully kept up by the onsite tenants. They are helpful and took care of all our needs and even greeted us with fresh sliced pineapple and a gift basket that our children loved. The owner was great to work with as well. Great house with nice amenities

Great house that was nicely supplied and furnished. Plenty of towels (both bath and beach). Plenty of space and a gorgeous view of the ocean from the lanai. It is quite a distance from Kona, especially with construction, but the local market has everything you need and the very close beaches are some of the best.

Our whole family loved your house. We enjoyed staying there, especially watching sunset from the front lanai, relaxing next to the fire pitch. Also it is only 20 minutes to the two best beaches on the island: Hapuna and Manua Kea. Owner provides great quality beach chairs and surfing boards. 50th Anniversary Family Celebration

Everything was just as presented online only better. The neighborhood was so quiet and the property so well landscaped for privacy as well as tropical beauty that we felt safe and pampered. Perfect for our two families!

We loved staying at the Hale O'Malina! The size of the home was perfect for two families with two children each. The common area was beautiful and very accommodating. The porch was perfect for watching sunsets after a long day exploring the island. There were lots of beautiful beaches close to the home and plenty of beach chairs for us to use. The hot tub and fire pit were also very inviting several evenings of our stay. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home! I only wish that we had stayed longer.

Best place to stay!

Where do I start with a review after such an incredible stay?! Caroline is a delight to work with and she made sure our stay was special even before we arrived.  The house layout was perfect for our group of six. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Beautiful flowers and landscaping both in the front yard and in the back near the hot tub made for a tranquil setting. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to make great meals (including a night of grilling). We felt at home and cared for throughout our experience. You can't go wrong selecting this property for your Hawaiian adventure!

GORGEOUS HOME!!!!

Caroline’s home is absolutely perfect. So beautiful decorated and the lay out is perfect. Very thoughtfully done. Outdoor areas are just gorgeous. The huge front porch/veranda is the best spot on the property. Gorgeous views and beautiful place to watch the sunset!! I would not hesitate to stay here again. We travelled all over the island. Beautiful rental in great location

We loved this rental. The front porch and it view of the ocean was our favorite for both morning coffee and watching the sunset. The house was immaculate and well appointed with appliances and dishes. The refrigerator was immaculate as were dishes but there were a few spices for use. This has been one of our favorite rentals! The pool is usable and just a short drive away b joy it is mostly used for lap swimming by older people. We didn’t feel it was a. Great place for kids to play- fine with us the ocean was amazing and there are day passes available at Hilton Waikoloa. The Waikoloa village grocery store and restaurants are very close. Highly recommend this rental.

Excellent Rental Home and Location

My family consisting of 8 all adult of age stayed at the home for approximately two weeks from the end of December through January of 2016. The home was in great condition and had everything we needed for the time we stayed including kitchen items to beach chairs and cooler. The area was in the ideal location close to beaches and even in a good location to go over to Hilo for the day over the Saddle road or around on the Belt road. There was even a full market (grocery store) within a mile or so which was a huge plus when you needed that one last minute item. We also met the caretaker Stan who stays in another part of the home and was very helpful and friendly. You would not even know Stan was staying there if someone didn't tell you, he was so quiet. Everyone enjoyed the comfort and location of the home and hope to go back soon. Thanks Charlie

Heavenly Hale O Malina

This is a beautiful and well appointed home. Everything about this place speaks of relaxation and encourages the aloha spirit that should permeate a vacation to Hawaii. The house was well equipped to meet all of our needs and upon arrival we were greeted with some delicious fresh pineapple and other treats. The rooms are spacious and the outside areas are fantastic. The neighborhood was very quiet making it very easy to relax and get great rest. There is a great ocean view from the lanai, which by the way is a great place to enjoy and evening meal. There is no A/C but with the Waikoloa breezes A/C is not necessary. The owner is very responsive and was sure to check in on us via email to ensure we were enjoying our stay. The location of the house is great for getting to many places on the Big Island. The Kohala beaches (Hapuna, Mauna Kea, Waialea, etc..) are within a short drive away, access to the new saddle road over to Hilo is close, and Waimea is likewise a short drive away. My family loved it and would highly recommend Hale O Malina to anyone.

Amazing House with a lot of Amenities!!!

It was perfect. Not one issue. As a family, we always rent a house and this was the best house we have ever rented. We used every amenity. Propane grill, outdoor shower, propane fire pit, hot tub, lanai, beach towels, cooler, boogie boards, beach chairs, toaster, Blu-ray, books and popcorn bowl. There was a gift basket and a trey of pineapples for us. There is a lot of room for everyone to have their own space. My space was the round swivel chair and ottoman in the corner and the downstairs bed and bath. This place is very clean and organized. I could not think of one thing that I needed that it did not have. Driving home at night was amazing because the house is lit up. The palm trees have string lights around them that you can see from down the hill. The market and Gas station are 5 minutes away at the entrance of the complex. Kona is only 45 minutes away. Hapuna Beach is less than 15 minutes away. Hilo is an hour and 15 away. Waimea is 30 minutes away. Waimea is a small town that reminded us of Texas. They have a few stores that are actually cheaper then the touristy Kona. Tex Drive In is 45 minutes away. Not a theater but great food. We are from Chicago so we had no issue with the drive times, construction or the wind. I would love to go back for another week.

Wonderful home with an excellent sunset!

Our family had a great time staying in this home. It was cozy, clean and tastefully decorated. The outside lanai was wonderful for happy hour, dinners, sipping coffee in the morning. Everyone felt comfortable here. Nice kitchen for breakfast, making our lunches for our daily excursions and dinners. We were worried that there was no air conditioning in the house, but as the owners noted once you open the windows in the late afternoon everything cools off nicely. There is always a good breeze and the overhead fans and standing fans in the rooms help greatly. The beach chairs were such a great addition. Just a couple of notes, the downstairs bathroom/bedroom is nice and quiet, secluded. The shower head is not good, it took an extra 10 minutes or more just to try and get the shampoo/conditioner out of my hair. It seems like it sprays here and there. Also, it would be nice if there was a small dresser in the bedroom or something build into the closet. We weren't really able to unpack and just had stuff everywhere by the end of the week. The last night my sister-in-law was going to use the hot shower outside and the fire pit. She couldn't get hot water in the shower and I don't think there was any gas in the fire pit. And the last thing, just take note it does take about 20 minutes to get out the main road. That was unfortunate, but if you are going to make the best of things during your visit it takes time to get anywhere on the Island, just factor this in. The last part are just little things...most importantly this house is wonderful, I would stay here again!

Wow, just WOW!

After a week in a beautiful condo in Kauai we arrived on the Big Island with high expectations for this property and were not disappointed. We were greeted with a thoughtful gift basket and fresh cut pineapple which was perfect as we arrived at 7pm and had some hungry kids! Luckily there was a grocery store just a few minutes away so we picked up some frozen pizzas to hold us over until our Costco run the next day. Unfortunately it was pitch black out so we had to wait until morning for the big reveal of the view – it was worth the wait. The condo was spacious, impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, well equipped and homey. We were 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 4, 3, 3, and 1). The kids loved having a front yard to run in and once even timed it when the sprinklers were on! They also thought the outdoor shower was so cool (as did us adults) so much so, that once we tried it, we didn’t shower in the house again! The hot tub was a great treat – no kiddos allowed but we just told them it was broken and they were oblivious to us using it after their bedtime. Driveway even had a basketball hoop which was too big for the kids but one day we both pulled up to the house with sleeping kids in the car so we parked in the driveway with all the windows down and us adults played 21 while we waited for them to wake up. A short drive to the coast is Waikoloa Village Resort – home to two shopping centres (Kings/Queens), the Hilton Luau (definitely recommend booking) and A-Bay Beach. We hit up Rainbow Falls, Punaluu Black Sand Beach and Kailua-Kona on roadtrip days. The caretakers live on the ground level and we ran into Stanton a couple times during our stay. Was great chatting with him and we knew we could count on him. The owner Caroline was also great – just a text away if we needed anything and always quick to respond. Not a single complaint from us the whole time and price is perfectly set for this place. The only things that would have been nice to have were some plastic plates and cups sized for little people (IKEA has cheap sets) and a perch chair for the table. We packed our Guzzie and Guss and it worked perfect at the kitchen table for our 1yr old as it was a high table/chair set. They are inexpensive, small to store and easy to wash at the end of your stay – might be a nice addition to this rental but definitely not necessary for everyone. If we ever end up on the Big Island again, checking Hale ‘O Malina’s availability would be first on our list.

This home sits in the back of Waikoloa Village with great ocean views that we have never grown tired of seeing. Waikoloa's central location is convenient to everything and just 6 miles away from world class resorts and beaches. We have customized every aspect of this home from fixtures to landscaping to our "zen" area with a bungalow style gazebo. Our kids loved playing basketball in the cool evenings as the Night Blooming Jasmine began to fill the air. This home will always be paradise to us!!
