Das Anwesen befindet sich auf einem mehr als 5 Hektar großen Privatgrundstück mit unberührter Wüstenlandschaft und ist dennoch für alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Wüste zugänglich: 20 Minuten zum JT Natl Park, 15 Minuten sowohl zur Innenstadt von Yucca Valley als auch zur Innenstadt von Joshua Tree, 10 Minuten zum Integratron, 20 Minuten nach Pioneertown.

Havalina verfügt über 5,5 Hektar Wüstenland, ein Haupthaus und eine Casita, die das ursprüngliche Gehöft auf dem Grundstück war. Das Haus und die Casita, die beide im Mietpreis enthalten sind, sind durch einen großen Innenhof mit Picknicktisch, Gasgrill, Feuerstelle und Barhockern verbunden, um den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Auf der Rückseite des Hauses befindet sich eine überdachte Veranda mit Schaukelstühlen, einer Hängematte und einem riesigen Schattenbaum, der ein magisches Geräusch von sich gibt, wenn der Wind weht.

Das eklektische Interieur ist geschmackvoll mit handverlesenen Flohmarktfunden, Vintage- und Altholzmöbeln und einzigartigen Kunstwerken dekoriert. Beide Schlafzimmer verfügen über endlose Aussichten im Freien und komfortable echte Betten (1 Kingsize-Bett, 1 Doppelbett) sowie viel Stauraum. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über ein großes Sofa, einen Flachbild-TV und einen DVD-Player. Es gibt eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Grundausstattung und eine kleine Frühstücksecke. Die Casita verfügt über ein sehr bequemes Tagesbett, einen Plattenspieler und Meditationskissen - ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen und / oder zur Unterbringung eines zusätzlichen Gastes.

Desert Dreams

We loved getting a taste of desert living! The home was beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed to relax and escape our daily lives. We played records, relaxed in the hammock while the coyotes howled, and did some stargazing. We really felt away from it all, but it was only 15 minutes or so to shops, restaurants, and the National Park. Check in/out could not have been simpler. Highly recommend!

A Classic Experience

Our third or fourth stay, as great as the rest. You can't argue with the price and the property is just right for a small family. Always very clean and modestly provisioned, with almost everything you need to have a nice little getaway. The appliances all work well and many are new. Heating/cooling is excellent! The respectful owners do not abuse their guests with overbearing rules and the check-in experience is fully automatic.Only a couple of minor complaints: the finicky Wi-Fi and outdated electronics, which admittedly are not an essential amenity (unless you are a teenager from the city), and some of the doors are sticky or difficult to open/close.Sadly, the neighborhood is getting busier. There was a broken-down yellow school bus parked next door during our stay, and we heard the occasional sound of construction in the distance, which has an effect on the peace and quiet of the desert. This is unfortunately common for many spots in the area and something you might encounter staying anywhere around. Most of the day, it is a peaceful place to stay and this property specifically is a very beautiful spot to sit and hang out during the hours before and after sunset.

Such a lovely property off the beaten path

We loved this house so much! We felt such good vibes the moment we walked in (I mean c’mon, a light switch for a salt lamp? Love it!) the place is decorated with such cool prints and furniture, I assume were thrifted which also is a huge plus. The casita was a perfect extra room and we were even able to work from home without any troubles with WiFi. The roads are a little bumpy but the hosts made it clear which ways to go to avoid any trouble. If you stay here, wake up for the sunrise, you won’t regret it! And the snow covered mountains in the distance were gorgeous. Thanks so much for your hospitality and all your communication. Bookmarking this place for the future for sure!

Living the dream

We stayed here for four days in July and the property was absolutely perfect. Couldn’t ask for better host. The property was clean and organized and very welcoming. Has games and streaming stick ready to go also. The temperature was always comfortable the views are absolutely gorgeous. We slept 5 no problem. I visit here often and try to stay in different places every time. But this place is worth staying everytime.

Peace and quiet

Relaxing Escape From The City

This place was wonderful and relaxing. Spent the mornings outside talking with family and enjoying the birds come by. The courtyard was perfect for our dogs. They loved laying out and taking in the air as did we! The set up was great! Including the beds! They were soooo comfortable!! I was able to wake up rested! At night was the best! It felt so peaceful just being outside by the fire pit, and even when didn’t have the fire going on just looking at the stars brought that kid like feeling you had when you were young, and laid on the street to look at them. I can’t wait to come back next year....FYI the AC works great! And they did a great job of communicating with us. They checked in via email a few days after to make sure everything was okay. I thought that was thoughtful...thank you for your hospitality!

Terrific property and very clean! Directions in both GPS and owner were extremely helpful. FYI, there's a dirt road to get here but it is not terrible. Part of the Joshua Tree experience! I would recommend cooking when visiting Joshua Tree, all the restaurants had 3+ hour waits and were no longer taking names. But overall, the property was beyond our expectations! The owner has cute little things, like a surplus of DVD's and DVD player available!

Great stay - a bit hard to access

The owners were responsive and the property was in good condition. The only thing that we had not expected was the 'remote' nature of the location - it required a mile or two on dirt roads, which added some complexity in terms of getting to/from the unit. Overall it was a great stay .
