Diese Villa ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Strand und der Bar und dem Grill am Dunes House entfernt. Beim Betreten der Villa werden Sie feststellen, dass die Schlafzimmer auf beiden Seiten durch Küche, Wohn- und Essbereich getrennt sind. Dies macht es ideal für Familien und Gruppen. Im Flur, der zur Küche führt, gibt es ein zusätzliches Badezimmer mit einer gefliesten begehbaren Dusche, Granitwaschtisch und Waschmaschine / Trockner. Die Küche ist mit ihren maßgefertigten Schränken, Küchengeräten aus Edelstahl und Arbeitsplatten aus Granit schön. Es gibt auch eine Bar für vier Personen. Jenseits der Küche bietet der Essbereich Platz für sechs Personen. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über eine komfortable und geschmackvolle Strandeinrichtung mit einem Flachbild-TV und Slider Zugang zu Ihrem eigenen Balkon. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, einen eigenen Zugang zum Balkon und ein eigenes Hauptbadezimmer. Das Master-Bad wurde wunderbar mit einer gefliesten Badewanne und Dusche Kombination und Granit Waschtisch aktualisiert. Das Guest Bedroom verfügt über zwei Twin Bunk-Betten, einen Flachbild-TV, ein eigenes Gästebadezimmer und einen privaten Zugang zum Balkon. Das Gästebad ist mit einer gefliesten Badewanne und Dusche Kombination aktualisiert. Viele der Palmetto Dunes, darunter der Robert Trent Jones Golfplatz, das Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center, der General Store und das Alexanders Restaurant, sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar.

By the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I love staying at the moorings but very disappointed with the condo. I hate to complain but not happy with the condition of this condo. The back bed room with the bunk beds the bathroom sink when you out stopper down to fill with water got stuck and need a knife to open it. Bathtub standing to take a shower was very slippery and nothing to hold on too. All the kitchen and bathroom counters I had to wip them all down. Main bedroom had no mattress pad and the mattress was torn. The out side furniture needs to be replaced couldn’t sit on chairs due to splinters. Needs a good cleaning

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was good. The unit was large and well furnished. Very clean and was very quiet. The Moorings was clsoe to the beach. The only issue was that the toilet in the master suite ran so we turned it off but it was not an issue since there was 2 other toilets. Mattresses were comfortable.

We enjoyed the condo rental and had great use of the bunk beds for our three kids. We liked it so much that we even booked the same unit again for next year for two weeks. The cons we had - - lights for the outside steps were either burnt out or broken, causing a semi-dangerous walk up and down at night. Lights also burnt out and broken on the master bedroom balcony. - Mold smell and mold spores on almost all AC vents and even on the AC unit. The filter should also be changed every 30 days in a setting like this. - You could tell the unit was cleaned for us upon arrival, but it was just that, cleaned to look nice. There was no effort to clean and sanitize the counters, floors, sinks, bathrooms, etc.; the whole unit needed disinfecting. I understand there is a minimal timeframe to flip the unit. Still, I would rather wait a little longer for a cleaner/disinfected unit than get sick from other families' leftovers...

It was so close to the beach with easy access via the boardwalk by the Dunes House. Additionally, the proximity to other activities like golf, tennis, and pickleball was great. As for the interior of the property, the layout was very nice with a split design — master with king bed and private bath on one side and two twin bunks with private bath on the other side. The third bathroom located near the front door was a great feature, especially when returning from a long day at the beach. While the property had been cleaned prior to our arrival, the overall condition was not so good. Walls and trim were terribly scuffed and in need of paint. Broken tiles in the kitchen floor were sharp and dangerous and the microwave was missing part of its façade. Several lights were without working bulbs and an electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work. Also, the bathroom countertop had a large crack with exposed rough edges. The property description was for three televisions. The televisions were not smart tvs, they just had basic cable boxes. Not necessarily a huge deal, but the cable box to the tv in the master did not work. We called for service, but it was never fixed during our stay so that tv was unusable. Most of the issues with the property are probably due to the fact that it is part of a large rental group and receives tons of bookings. However, the price point was too high for a property that needed that much TLC. We choose this property because we had previously stayed in the same complex and loved the location and layout of the condo. The property we rented previously was with a smaller property management group and was in much better condition with more amenities inside. If it had been available for our week, we would have booked it instead. Hopefully this property will receive a makeover and upgrade in the near future. It was marked that we would recommend this property, but only after some

Great location. Unit is fine, but a bit outdated. Was very clean, but needs a bit of upkeep. Parking not clearly marked but luckily we were there in off season and never had an issue finding a spot.

It's comfortable and nice looking, and is a good location to all the amenities.The problem was that it wasn't totally clean - the clothes washer had mold around the soap area and rubber. I had to call for someone to clean it before using. The person did come promptly to clean it, which was great! The tile floors weren't clean. I had to sweep the floors from crumbs, dirt, etc. Some of the outlets didn't work, so I had to search for an outlet to use the hair blow-dryer. Finally, I wish the deck table and chairs were cleaner- looking. The wood didn't look inviting to sit there and have dinner, etc.Overall, the place is nicely furnished, nice looking, comfortable furniture and beds, and nice location. We had a very nice vacation. I definitely would recommend the condo to others but I would just recommend a more thorough job of cleaning the place. Thank you.

A stupendous vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been staying in The Moorings for a week-long family vacation for almost 20 years, and this was the best unit of them all. The upgrades were tasteful and of good quality. Furnishings were super comfortable. Wifi was fast and stable. Toiletries were a huge upgrade. Loved them. The property descriptions and pictures were spot-on, and it was clean and well-maintained. We did not have any problems, but I suspect customer service would be wonderful.The pros far outweigh the cons. But here are the cons. Because Covid is still a threat, we cooked and ate in a lot more than usual. There were a dozen steak knives, but only one very dull santoku knife. Not a big deal, since we always bring our own Cutco knives. More flatware would be fantastic. In Unit 78, the ceiling fan placement puts one occupant in danger (blades are too close to someone climbing in and out of one bunk bed). We LOVED our stay, and highly recommend this unit!!
