Gemütliches Blockhaus im Wald

Sie werden diesen süßen, kleinen Kurzurlaub im Norden von Michigan lieben, der sich auf 3 Hektar Fläche neben Tausenden Hektar Wakeley Lake Area Federal befindet und kilometerlange Wanderwege bietet. Viele tolle Angel- und Badeseen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Aber - die Hauptattraktion dieses Ortes ist der berühmte Au Sable River - nur 500 Meter von der Hütte entfernt. Dieser Fluss ist landesweit bekannt für sein erstklassiges Fliegenfischen auf Bach-, Regenbogen- und Bachforellen.

Der Au Sable River ist auch ein beliebtes Ziel für Kanu-, Kajak- und Schlauchfahrten mit mehreren lokalen Mietfarben in Grayling.

Die Kabine verfügt über 2 Futons mit Doppelbett und eine Luftmatratze mit Doppelbett, die bei Bedarf für bis zu 6 Personen genutzt werden kann. Die Hütte hat eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit allem - genau wie zu Hause. Nichts, was du mitbringen musst. Alle Bettwäsche, Handtücher und Waschlappen zur Verfügung gestellt. Sowohl Holzkohle- als auch Gasgrills sind vorhanden. Grundsätzlich - alles, was Sie mitbringen müssen, ist Ihre Kleidung, Essen und Trinken und Sie können loslegen!

Haustierfreundlich. Großer Garten mit großer Lagerfeuergrube. Picknicktisch und Gartenstühle. Ein großartiger Ort für Kinder mit Schaukel, Sandkasten, Hofspielen, Basketballkorb, Hufeisen und vielem mehr. Nur 500 Meter die Straße hinunter zum Au Sable River Mainstream zu einem großartigen Ort zum Schwimmen, Angeln, Kanufahren, Röhren- und Kajakfahren. Unsere Hütte liegt nur 15 Minuten von Grayling entfernt.

Kein Internet-Service in der Kabine außer Verizon Cellular. Kein TV-Service, aber mit TV / DVD / VCR-Player und über 300 Filmen ausgestattet. Hat auch Wii-Spielsystem

Unsere Hütte kann vom 20. Mai bis 31. Oktober 2019 gemietet werden.

It was a great getaway

I thought it was 'secluded'. But the neighbors had their chainsaws going. Probably that time of year, anyway. Maybe a different time of year would be better to visit as I went right before rifle hunting season. If you're looking for a comfy bed maybe bring a cushion of some kind for the futon. Other than that everything was peachy 😁

Great cabin for Hex Camp 🎣

Had a great time fishing for trout with 3 buddies during the Hex hatch. Really enjoyed the cabin, property and surrounding area. Rod was a great host and we appreciated his local knowledge of fishing in the area. As always when enjoying the beauty of Michigans out of doors, our stay just wasnt long enough! 😀. Overall, great little cabin and would recommend

Chasing Hex

Basic hunting camp cabin that brought back memories of first hunting and fishing camps decades ago. Kitchen fully-stocked; bathroom and shower very small, but adequate; and sleeping accommodation for 4 large men, enough to provide access to bathroom at night. Property well-maintained and private, a couple of turkeys providing patrol security the entire stay. Recommend for those who want the basic comforts after spending most of time fishing or hiking outdoors.

Little gem in the woods

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin; and the property is gorgeous! Trails to walk, large yard for family fun, and a huge fire but for bonfires. Most of all our 2 dogs were able to come on this trip and loved being with us. The host was very welcoming and informative. Would definitely recommend this beautiful place.

Father's Day Weekend

We brought our daughters and dogs out for a Father's Day weekend getaway in this cozy little cabin. The property is beautiful in every way. You're surrounded by woods and birdsong. We saw squirrels, chipmunks, birds, bats, deer, and even a turtle! We had a wonderful time playing family games inside and yard games outside. We enjoyed walking the trails behind the cabin. (Beware of ticks. Tick spray was no match for them. But we feel like it's the risk you take playing in nature. So not upset at all.) The cabin itself is cute and cozy and very well stocked. Always a great place to stay!

The Lark Inn is always comfortable, has excellent Au Sable river access nearby, and Rod is super friendly and helpful! I've stayed here several times, first with my dad, and most recently with my sister. I highly recommend this for the angler that doesn't really care for camping in a tent - the cabin is small, but very comfortable and only a short drive to the Mason Tract Trail and fishing access.

Quiet, clean, great location.

My dog and I had a great time. It's a small cabin suitable for two, plus young kids or dog.Property is well kept, with a trail leading back into the woods. Short walk to the Au Sable where you can put in with a canoe or kayak if you bring one for fishing.

Excellent cabin near the Au Sauble River

Excellent location. The Au Sauble is just a short walk down the road. The cabin sits on very nice property with trails you can walk through. We really enjoyed the firepit whi h was well stocked with wood. The cabin was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of space for two adults and our Golden Retriever. The host was very Accommodating and check in/out was simple. Highly recommend.

This cabin was built in 1963 and has been in our family since 1970. We moved to Grayling in 2010 and we live less than 10 minutes from our cabin. We love living in the Grayling area and especially on the Au Sable River. This is God's Country for sure!

My parents bought this property when I was 13 years old and I've been spending time here for 48 years and counting. I purchased this property from my parents in 1986.

The Grayling area has so much to offer from pristine rivers and lakes to Hartwick Pines, endless miles of hiking and ORV trails. It's a great place to stay and a great place to play!

Our little log cabin is nothing fancy so if you are looking for a posh resort-- keep looking. We cater to people who want to get away from it all. We cater to families with kids and pets. We cater to sportsman who love to fish and hunt. People come here and return here more for the outdoors and all it has to offer more than the indoors.

With both the Au Sable and Manistee river systems in the Grayling area-- it's a fly fishing, canoeing, kayaking, float tubing meca!

We offer all this at a price that's hard to beat-- less than just about any motel/hotel overnight price you'll find.
