Das Brantfield House ist ein großes viktorianisches Haus in einem gepflegten Garten in ruhiger Lage mit Blick auf das Dorf Bowness und den Lake Windermere. Die Wohnung befindet sich im ersten Stock an der Vorderseite des Hauses und bietet wunderschön proportionierte Zimmer mit spektakulärem Blick auf den See und die umliegenden Hügel.

Die Wohnung wird ständig aktualisiert und im Januar 2018 wurde eine neue Badezimmer-Suite installiert. Alle Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet, geräumig, hell und luftig. Die Wohnung bietet Platz für 4 Personen in zwei Schlafzimmern, das Hauptschlafzimmer hat ein Kingsize-Bett und das zweite Schlafzimmer hat zwei Einzelbetten. Alle Betten wurden im September 2015 ersetzt. Jedes Zimmer hat reichlich Stauraum und das Zweibettzimmer hat einen Fernseher und PS2

Das Badezimmer hat eine Dusche, eine Toilette und ein Waschbecken. Die Küche ist neu mit viel Arbeitsfläche ausgestattet und verfügt über Backofen, Herd, Kühl- / Gefrierschrank, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler. Das große Wohn- / Esszimmer wurde kürzlich renoviert und ist komfortabel mit Ledersofas und einem Esstisch im Erkerfenster eingerichtet. Es gibt einen Fernseher mit DVB-T und DVD / Video-Playern sowie eine Auswahl an DVDs, Videos, Büchern und Spielen. Die Wohnung verfügt über kostenlosen WLAN-Zugang. Dieses Zimmer verfügt über ein Erkerfenster mit spektakulärem Blick auf den Lake Windermere und die umliegenden Hügel.

Das Haus befindet sich in ruhiger Lage, aber nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Herzen von Bowness entfernt

Out of this world

Mind blowing accommodation, couldn't stop looking at the incredible lake views. Spotless property, so quiet and tranquil, listening to nature and with a short 5 minute walk to the centre. Perfect weather made the stay even more incredible.

Hiking holiday Lake District

Stunning views from this lovely property. Great base to explore the Lake District. We took advantage of the many beautiful hiking trails. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, clean and well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great Apartment

We had a lovely 4 night stay in Bowness. The apartment was perfect for us, clean, really well equipped and the living room was very cosy. Plus it comes with superb views of the lake and hills. We would definitely recommend.

Amazing views

This was a great apartment. The views from the living room were amazing, clean, tidy and spacious. It was a peaceful place, easy walking distance to the centre and other activities. I would certainly stay here again.

Beautiful apartment

We had a great stay at this beautiful apartment it had everything we needed, it was spotless and a fantastic view, we have been to this area a few times now and I would definitely stay here again as couldn’t fault it, we both loved it. Lots of dvds to choose from if you’re just wanting a relaxing movie night in, it was like a home from home we loved everything about it. The views are amazing and it’s so quiet and only a short walk down hill to the town with loads of pubs & restaurants. I would recommend to book this apartment if available. Thank you to the host for letting stay in your great apartment x

Great spot in the Lake District!

We had a great stay in this apartment. You can walk down the hill to shops, pubs, and the lake. Inside is very comfortable with a great view. The host was great communicating via email after my VRBO app glitched out. Minor quibbles would be that the little hallway is almost comically squeaky, and it would be great to have a couple of fans to circulate the air a bit. Overall, highly recommended!

Another fantastic stay

Another wonderful holiday.

This is our second visit and we love this property! It is in a fantastic location with the most wonderful view of Lake Windermere. Clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need and easy parking outside. Quick walk to the shops, restaurants and boats and yet in a quiet location. Great apartment with absolutely stunning views across Windermere. The apartment was clean and cosy with all the amenities that we needed. It's located in a quiet avenue but only a 10 min walk into the heart of Bowness. I would recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

Amazing Flat in Bowness

Really lovely spacious apartment. Great views. Extremely well appointed and tastefully decorated, , we lacked for nothing. Home away from home

Our first thought was, the photos do not do this apartment justice, as it exceeded expectation. The information provided regarding check in and check out was thorough and the apartment was clean, with lovely linen and towels. We did not tire from sitting at the table watching the scenery change and the kitchen was great for cooking. We also loved the location, being above the village away from the hustle and bustle, it was quiet and relaxing. We would definitely return for another stay and highly recommend to anyone wanting a true Windermere experience.

A great stay in Bowness-on-Windermere

Brantfield House is located high above Bowness—on Windermere and the views from the living area are spectacular. I received good instructions before arriving and had no problems checking in. The apartment has two good sized bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a good living / dining area. We could not have asked for more. Just be aware that it is a steep walk from the centre of town if you don’t have a car.

Best Views

Stayed with my mum and dad at Christine's place and was thoroughly impressed. Absolutely amazing view from the living room window. Loved eating meals there. Very tidy and homely. Well-stocked kitchen. Only downside was the hike up the hill! Only later did we realise there was an easier way up. Bowness is a lovely little town, very picturesque and lots of nice cafes and restaurants. Would definitely stay again if I come back!
