Great place to bring our pups along!
Perfect for bringing our pups. Dogs aren’t allowed on the beach but they enjoyed relaxing in the air conditioning while we were close by on the beach. There is a dog friendly beach at North Clearwater we did take them to so they could enjoy the ocean water! All the shops were dog friendly so they got to enjoy shopping and eating out with us as well. We’ve stayed here several times now! The only negative is how hot the bathroom gets due to the skylights. We kept the bathroom door closed to help keep the rest of the house cooler. Overall it’s nice to have a place in a fun location that allows pets!

Our stay was great and the property was well maintained. Everything was very nice. My only complaint is that the upper level was not as clean as I would have liked but understand the issue with trying to haul a vacuum up a ladder and then use it in an area where the ceiling is only 2 or 3 feet.

Perfect Beach House Location
My Wife and I Just Loved this House. It was private Enough, clean and everything within walking distance. Lot's of small shopping places and lots of family friendly bar restaurants. We walked a couple miles on the beach every morning afternoon and evenings or nights with flashlight. They have updated there back porch deck with some new boards and a very thick coat of paint almost like a boat gell coat or truck bed paint, no splinters. I will definitely book this place again. From reserving the house, to check-in and check-out, I've never had a more smooth and relaxed process. TRS was very accommodating and they were very quick to answer any questions I had. Awesome place
Great location, great price, needs a few updates. The deck and mattress definitely needs replaced. We had zero issues with the A/C as some others had stated. Beach essentials provided would have been a plus. We did end up purchasing chairs, umbrella and an anchor and left them there. We couldn’t take them on the plane home with us. If you enjoy live music and a bar Bamboo Beach Bar and grill is a few second walk away (our favorite place and why we choose this rental) Overall very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again.

Great spot on Mad Beach
Loved the location so close to John's Pass. The beach is a bit of a walk not like others just walking out your backdoor. It is down a long path thru the dunes. Also the yard and beach access is shared by another house and a few apartments located in the front of the property. It wasn't private as we had thought and constantly saw people coming and going thru the yard. We did feel like we had to lock up the house while we were at the beach which usually we never do at other places we have rented. The deck is falling in when walking on it you don't feel so safe. We kept tripping on pieces that were bowed and splinters in shoes and feet. The bed also needs replacing, you sink into the middle like a ditch. They didn't provide beach towels so make sure you bring some and the beach stuff (ie. chairs) was null. The upkeep of this house has been neglected sadly. The good - We enjoyed the live music from across the street from noon til 10pm everyday. We could hear it in the bathroom and bedroom in the house but mostly sat outside to enjoy it. The house is comfortable to fit 3. My 11 yr old son loved the loft. Plenty of seating outside. The beach is well maintained. We ate mostly out for lunch and dinner at all the options at John's Pass Village. A must have is the cuban sandwich & cuban pork sandwich at Sip and Scoop across the street (so easy to pick up to eat at the house). Plan all your adventures early.. we waited a few days and everything was booked til we were leaving. So we had missed out. Overall, great spot wish they would do the proper upkeep to this home and it would be a much better experience.

What a great little place!
My husband and I stayed here for 10 days. This was our first time in Madeira Beach so we weren't sure what to expect. This property was a great find...small, but perfect for the two of us. Everything was clean, we had no issues with the AC as others have mentioned in previous reviews, and it was really hot out when we were there. Nice having the washer/dryer in the unit. The locations could not be more perfect....the Gulf of Mexico practically in the backyard and John's Pass just across the street. A cool little path through the trees that lead to the beach. The pictures in this property listing were exactly on point. The check-in/out process was so easy and the staff at TRS were very friendly. We will definitely book again when returning to this area.

The unicorn house for a couple wanting to be footsteps from the beach & entertainment
This was our first time in Madeira beach. We booked this house because of our aging dog, which can't go up stairs, and for being steps from the beach. What surprised us were the shops, restaurants and bars at John's Pass. Recommended.

Your own private home on the beach with peekaboo view of the ocean.
This place has everything you need. One minute walk and you're on the gulf! Walk across the street to John's Pass for restaurants, shopping, boat tours and more. The live music playing nightly can even be listened to from the patio. Plenty of room throughout the property means you're never cramped for space. The kitchen has lots of counterspace for preparing meals. The loft area would be great for children or adults more agile than myself. The layout is a bit odd with the front door opening into the bedroom and a direct view into the bathroom. Also, the nightly music can be heard in the bedroom even with the windows closed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and plan to return.

Super beach and sea water/ very clean
The house was cleaned well, especially the fridge was super clean. It is right at the beach. The uncrowded and clean beach is flat enough for bikes and games, the water was nice and shallow. All property managers we talked to were professional and friendly, but one. The couch was a little uncomfortable and the dryer is loud, but we enjoyed our stay very much. The house is on a quiete road. And the neighborhood is overall quite and relaxed.

So perfect for us.
We enjoyed the house so much! The pathway to the beach has a nice wooden walkway directly to the beach. The house was clean and well stocked with linens and kitchen utensils. John's Pass is directly across the street and we enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to live music from a bar there. The air conditioning did struggle(as pointed out by other reviews). We kept the blinds closed to help and limited use of the oven by cooking most of our food on the grill. We plan to book this house again in the future!

Sweet spot!
Priced fairly as advertised. However, air conditioning specifications should be advertised too. Upon checkin, instructions require A/C kept at 72* and should not be set any lower. This would be sufficient if the A/C was capable of keeping the place at 72 degrees during the daytime. Unfortunately, the air conditioner is ancient and can’t keep up with the Florida heat. After around noon, the temperature started climbing and, depending on whether or not we cooked (which we quickly learned not to do between 8/9 am and sundown) it would top out at about 75-76* (80* the day we cooked-day 2). The temperature would finally get back to 72* around midnight and would stay there until the next midday, so at least we got to sleep more comfortably at night (but good luck napping during the day ... we all know the sun and beach can be exhausting!) It would have been nice to use the kitchen during the daytime, as that is one of the reasons we choose single family units over big hotels. The only other small issue was the condition of the deck -the deck is super large and awesome for dogs, but there are quite a few screws that need to be screwed back in and a few more boards that should be replaced because of splintering and splitting. I tore a gash in the bottom of my shoe on one of the screws sticking way up by the far gate. That said, the almost-empty propane tank for the grill was quickly replaced and they were also quick to send an A/C tech (it stopped working completely within our first 24 hours on the property). Checkin/checkout was fast and easy. The location is absolutely perfect and the rental is semi-private. I would definitely stay again (but not any later in the year than May until the A/C unit is repaired/replaced). Thanks for sharing your place with us!

The best location ever!
This is the best location ever. I was surprised to see John’s Pass is right across the street. The beach is just a few hundred feet from the back door. I loved having a washer and dryer. The house was clean, however, it could use a deep cleaning: ceiling fans and edge of the floors. There is a gated porch that is great for the dogs, but does need a few planks replaced. Otherwise, this is a fabulous place. Thank you for a fabulous week.
