Das Chateaux ist eine Unterkunft am Golf, die direkt am Strand von Indian Shores liegt. Beheizter Pool zur ganzjährigen Nutzung. Einheit # 207 hat einen großen Balkon mit direktem Blick auf den Golf von Mexiko. Das Hauptschlafzimmer hat zwei Doppelbetten, im Wohnzimmer gibt es auch ein Schlafsofa. Die Küche wurde mit Holzschränken und Granitplatten aktualisiert. Der Wohnung fehlen Updates in anderen Bereichen, aber es ist gut gepflegt, voll bestückt und hat eine einwandfreie Aussicht! Gemeinsamer Waschraum vor Ort. Ein zugewiesener Parkplatz zur Verfügung gestellt.

Due to back to back hurricanes, some of building isdamaged. Sliding door doesnt like to open. Shades in bedroom need updating. Mattress very soft. But other then that it was very nice clean unit.

Enjoyed!

This is a nice clean condo. Bathroom and beach chairs could use upgrades but overall it was great. Clean, good location, pool is open, elevator not working but we knew that. Entire area is under construction but still a nice place to visit. Salt Rock Grill is amazing restaurant within walking distance. We didn’t cook much but kitchen seemed well stocked. Wish we didn’t need to check in at rental Agency, but it was quick and just a bit out of way.

Great for our stay

This property is right in the heart of Indian shores. Beautiful beach views with a huge balcony, clean condo, good-sized pool, easy beach access, plenty of room for a family of 4. TRS was very helpful for the entire check in process. VRBO listing did not mention that the elevator is down at this property, but TRS let me know as soon as we called to book that it was down. We were on the 2nd floor, so the stair climb wasn’t terrible. We loved the Chateaux and its location! 100/10 recommend and we will be coming back!

We enjoyed our unit. Unfortunately, we did not know the elevator was out until we got there. We booked our stay the day the elevator went out. It was difficult for me going up and down the stairs due to my Rheumatoid Arthritis. Other than that we were very happy.

Million dollar ocean view

Amazing view, large patio, easy beach access and pool. Kind of a bummer that elevator was still out. * Highly recommend adding a throw rug or four. Absolutely no rugs. Need a mat/rug by doors, in kitchen, in bath, and next to beds. Floors not as clean as they could have been. But all in all a good value for the price and a nice quiet building.

Family Vacation

We enjoy our stay at think location, access to the beach was awesome, beautiful view, and pool was also enjoyable. Only thing is, the condo itself needed alot of upgrades, sofa bed in the living room was in poor shape, furniture in bedroom was outdated, mattresses in bedroom were ok. On the list of instructions to checkout, it clearly states we are to replace garbage bags upon leaving and not leave any garbage behind which we did all that except the condo ,unit had no garbage bags to replace 😒, luckily we happen to have one in our luggage carry on from the last vacation. So our overall stay was nice except for the inconveniences I mentioned.

We enjoyed our stay a lot and it was the perfect location for what my family needed. Our one complaint was that we struggled with the key in the door and it was very finicky -- 1 did seem to work better than the others. We eventually figured out the trick but it was very frustrating to have to deal with when our hands were full coming up from the beach. It would have been nice to have a keypad lock instead.

Kitchen best part of unit

Living room sofa is very uncomfortable and noisy. Beds are uncomfortable and squeaky. Electrical outlets will not hold plugs they need to be replaced. Keys need to be updated to code entry as it is inconvenient to take keys back to rental office when you need to be traveling north Rental office was very good about letting us check in early tho. That was great part.

Disappointed

Let me begin by saying we love the beach here and the location. We have stayed in the building for 7 or 8 years. Now on to the problems we encountered, which we have never had with any other unit in this building by the way... The check in process was not acceptable at all. The VRBO ad says check is after 3 at the office, after 5 go somewhere else. Any normal person would read this as check in time of 3 or after. When we arrived we were told that was not the case, they were only obligated to have the unit available by 5. Never in all my travels have I encountered anything this outrageous. Check is time is check in time, I am quite sure that check out time is not negotiable. Seems like the management company superseded what the VRBO ad says. As far as the unit is concerned, the ad said that it needed updates which it does I guess but that doesn't really matter to us. What does matter is that the faucet at the kitchen sink needs replaced and had some kind of black funk on the spout, the cook top of the stove was dirty and when I tried to clean it could not get it off with the supplies that I had, there were lots of fruit flies in the kitchen, the tile grout in the entire unit is really dirty, there are BIG cracks in the ceiling that need to be repaired, the beds are the worst I have ever slept on, the pans/cookware in the kitchen look like yard sale rejects, any unit in this building we have stayed in have had basic supplies and this had basically nothing, not even a spare kitchen towel. The laundry room has 4 washers and 4 dryers, only 2 washers and 1 dryer worked. There are no ceiling fans in the unit, that would be a very welcome addition. It would also be nice to have TV's bigger than a computer monitor. The overall experience was good at the beach, we love that building and the area but the check in process was terrible, and you also have to take the key a half hour out of your way when leaving back to the management company. I really hate to complain but this was not a good experience with the unit, the beach was amazing though, as it always has been.
