Cannonville liegt unter der östlichen Böschung des Bryce Canyon National Park. Es liegt am Scenic Byway 12, nur 19 km hinter dem Bryce Canyon. Unser Gebiet ist von roten Felsvorsprüngen umgeben. Der Kodachrome State Park befindet sich 16 km unterhalb unserer Hauptstraße in der Stadt. Das Bunk House verfügt über zwei Queensize-Betten und ein Etagenbett in etwa 900 Quadratmetern. Wir bieten ein Pack n Play für Babys an. Das große Badezimmer verfügt über eine Badewanne und eine Dusche sowie einen Umkleidebereich. Das Badezimmer / Ankleidezimmer ist mit weichen Handtüchern und anderen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Die Betten sind bequem mit frisch gepresster Bettwäsche bei Ihrer Ankunft. Es gibt eine kleine Küchenzeile mit Geschirr, Besteck, Töpfen und Pfannen sowie einem Waschbecken. Der Toaster / Ofen ist praktisch. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank (ohne Gefrierfach) enthält Wasser und Grundnahrungsmittel. Frisch gebackene Schokoladenkekse begrüßen die Gäste in unserem Country Bunkhouse. Es gibt einen Grill zur Verfügung, wenn draußen benötigt. (Bitte vor Anreise anfragen) Das Country Bunkhouse verfügt über einen 55-Zoll-Fernseher für TV-Programme und DVDs, Blue Ray / Spiele sowie einen 45-Zoll-Fernseher im zweiten Schlafzimmer. Mehrere DVDs (familienorientiert) sind ebenso enthalten wie Brettspiele / Puzzles und Kinderspielzeug. Das Country Bunkhouse verfügt über große Deckenventilatoren und eine brandneue Klimaanlage. Zwangsluftheizung ist sehr effizient. Wir haben nicht viele extrem heiße Tage und unsere Nächte sind kühl und schön. Schlafen bei geöffneten Fenstern ist hier sicher. Der Winter ist jedoch kalt und oft schneereich. Unser Nachthimmel ist atemberaubend, wenn Sie Zeit haben, draußen auf der Schaukel zu sitzen und es zu genießen. Das Grand Staircase Visitors Center befindet sich im Stadtzentrum in der Nähe des Stadtparks und bietet Fragen zu Wanderungen, Wetter und Ausflugszielen. Zögern Sie nicht, uns (die Scoffields) nach Vorschlägen oder Artikeln zu fragen, die Sie möglicherweise benötigen.

Immaculate home!

We absolutely loved our stay in Cannonville, with it's rich pioneer heritage. Cherie and her husband were so kind to our family, and were there to help with whatever we needed. We felt well taken care of. We really enjoyed the quaint feel of the town, and the cottage was adorable, clean, comfortable, and so inviting. I would highly recommend their home!

Central to all the great hikes in SW Utah

The country cottage has all the special touches to make your stay memorable from pressed sheets, awesome smelling sheets and towels and high end toiletries and home baked pumpkin bread. A book of great trails for hiking was provided as well as nearby restaurants. We were initially surprised that there is only a kitchenette but it contained everything needed to eat breakfast and dinner in the cottage. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed and will feel spoiled.

Getting offline

I wanted a quiet place with minimal connectivity to the outside world. I wanted a break from my clinical practice to recharge my batteries. Bunkhouse measured up on all fronts. Didn't even turn on the TV once. Lovely. I would suggest adding an extension cord in the living room that accepts 3 pin plugs. I had to go back to Panguitch to purchase one so that I could work on my computer. Thoroughly recommend this place...quiet, clean, safe, isolated...lovely

One of the best places we have stayed

We have stayed in many vacation rentals, and this is one of our favorites! The bunkhouse is super cozy, and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Because everything we needed was there and everything was so well organized, it did not feel small for our family of two adults and two very active boys. There was a big yard outside for them to run around and toss a football. This was a perfect base to explore Bryce and Kodachrome Basin State Park. It was great to meet the owners who were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area!

Great Location for Bryce Canyon

We came to hike at Bryce Canyon. The Country Bunkhouse was a perfect place for me and two teenaged boys. The place was very clean and the hosts were amazing! It was about a 25 min to Bryce Canyon. We enjoyed our stay!

Our stay at the Country Bunkhouse was wonderful. Checkin was easy. It was very clean. The beds were comfy. They supplied a folder of relevant materials; grocery shopping, local hiking areas and info on National Parks in the area. If we ever visit the area again we hope it would be available, as we would definitely stay again.

Charming home near Bryce Canyon

What a great place to stay when you are visiting Bryce and Escalante. The home is comfortable and has everything you need to be comfortable. The house is in a quiet location close to everything. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here! It is decorated so cute, and is bigger than the pictures make it look. Our family of 6 fit very comfortably. There were lots of games to play inside and room outside for energetic kids to ruin around. The host responded quickly when a small need arose and even left us some delicious pumpkin bread on the table as a welcome snack. Highly recommend!

Quiet, Cozy Bunkhouse

We had a wonderful experience staying here. Our family of 6 stayed comfortably in this cozy bunkhouse, just a short drive from Bryce Canyon National Park. Very quiet neighborhood. Wonderful hostess, left us freshly baked pumpkin bread..yum. Bunkhouse was very clean and neat..we loved the country decor. There was a helpful book full of information about the surrounding area. Minutes from grocery/general store, restaurants and the national park, without the traffic. We would definitely stay agin.

We inherited this 100 year old property and moved here in 2003. We are retired, and working locally. My husband is the Garfield County Tourism Representative around the world for our beautiful area. We raised seven children and now have 19 grandchildren. We were born and raised in Utah but lived in several other states. My husband is a Navy Captain and is very patriotic. We love yard work, hiking, the canyon, and the close knit community we live in.

We go to great lengths to insure you a wonderful stay at the Country Bunkhouse. The Bunkhouse sparkles and we deep clean after every guest. We respect your privacy and welcome children. A swing set is available for use and large lawn area for other games. We have a fire circle out beyond the Bunkhouse with a stage for family performances. Guest are welcome to use it upon request. We will provide the wood and matches for the fires.

Our home is located under the escarpment of Bryce Canyon which is 12 miles away. The drive to and from is always an enjoyable one. The views from our home feature red rock formations and the white mountains as well as the small town country setting with sheep, cows, horses etc. It is a peaceful small town of only 150-200 residents, quiet, beautiful and a place of healing from the noise and crowds and fast pace of city life.
