Friends Birthday weekend

Lovely location. View of the ocean. Short walk from the beach. Incredibly well stocked kitchen for all our cooking needs. Short drive to Dinucci's for lovely Italian dinner (make reservations). Would definitely stay here again.

Short Vacation

The property is centrally located. The decor is dated. There is some fixing-up required, i,e, screens on windows and doors need replacing. If you plan on using the fireplace, bring your own wood or know where it's stored. The spice cabinet is amazing with everything you would possibly need. The view is good as advertised. Overall, a nice place to stay. The only place to eat is the small cafe a 3minute walk from the property and the food is good.

Beachside Bliss

Dillon Beach is always fun to visit especially if you enjoy a beach that allows off leash dogs. The porch has a lovely view and we enjoyed watching the sunset. There are a few things that that could be improved however nothing that we couldn’t handle. The chairs were broken on the deck on arrival however, after communicating this to the property manager, we received two brand new chairs, which was great! I really appreciate that dogs are allowed and it’s just a short walk to the beach.

Weekend Getaway

For those who enjoy the feeling of being in a house when you're on vacation, you will enjoy this location. Decent kitchen amenities, a living room TV, games/puzzles, plenty to do in and around the place. Walkable to the beach and lots of great restaurants, wineries, creameries are all within a reasonable drive.

Do Not Believe the Listing

Pics on line are VERY outdated and deceiving - the left stairs are overgrown with shrubs/vines. Needs a whole-house cleaning badly. Black mold around the tub!! Old outdated food in the cupboards. Had to wash ALL dishes before using them because of the grime. My cell phone stuck to the kitchen table because of the grime. Carpet and furniture old and very dirty. Dead flowers on multiple orchid plants in kitchen and living room. Dried food on coffee cups. Bbque was dirty and food was crusted on the grill. Several of the light bulbs were either missing or didn't work. Sheets and towels were clean thank goodness. Outdoor furniture was sopping wet and had pockets of sand. Cant believe this place is listed with VRBO!! I am requesting a refund or credit even though we did stay there as it was to late to change!! Quite disgusting place. Have never had such a dirty place before. So disappointed as this was our 33rd anniversary.

Nice Place by the ocean

We had a nice stay. It is what I would expect from a beach house. If you're looking for a renovated house with all the modern amenities this isn't it. It has what you need and location is great. The view from the deck was really nice. We will be back.

Always Rejuvenating and Special

Each of our stays at Dragon's Nest has always included a new sweet memories, and healing rest. Our time there is one of the highlights of our year. The only complaint we hear is that our time there goes by way too quickly! This year we had a very minor problem with a shower knob and Linda and Edwardo responded and resolved it immediately. Nice getaway

The cottage was well located and very well stocked as far as cooking, spices, etc. the house itself is a bit rundown. In definite need of dry rot repair and paint. The inside has VERY old furniture. With some paint, declutterring and new living room furniture it would be really cute!

A Nice Way to Beat the Heat

We decided to get away for a few days from the heat in the Sierra foothills. The house fit all our needs. We brought our dog and even he loved it! The neighborhood was very pleasant and during our daily walks to the beach we found those we passed by to be very friendly. All and all it turned out to be the perfect retreat. We will return often.

Not what expected and could use a clean

We love Dillon Beach and have stayed at a variety of homes; it’s a casual beach town and we aren’t picky…wouldn’t stay here again. We stayed over thanksgiving and were planning to watch some football, fox sports, nothing premium- even though this showed cable and basic tv there wasn’t any, no help from host or property management. Place could also use a good cleaning: dust on footrests, mold on shower curtain and fan was gross. Luckily the beach is always beautiful. Pick somewhere else in DB there are lots of options.

Cozy Cottage

This property is a nice comfortable cottage. Nice view from inside and out. We love the succulents and orchids. And the owner had decorated with pumpkin theme for October. Very cute. However, the stairs are steep and can be slippery when wet. The driveway is also very steep and small. Overall, good place for a few days rest!

We decided to go to the beach for a mini getaway and enjoyed our time at Dillon Beach. Liked the short walk to the beach. House really has everything you need and was very clean. King bed a way to soft for our taste but everything else was great.

Great location

My family and I visit Dillon beach yearly. My kids enjoyed the stay bc of all the board games and coloring pen/pencils/coloring books. The house is located walking distance to the beach. The house is on the smaller side however has all the essentials. I would definitely recommend this place and will probably rent this house again.
