Ocean Grove ist wirklich eine einzigartige Stadt, die ihren Charme bewahrt hat und Sie in eine Zeit zurückbringt, in der das Leben so einfach und unschuldig war. Alles läuft zu weit weg, also brauchst du kein Auto, wenn du hier bist. Der Asbury Bahnhof ist zu Fuß vom Haus entfernt, oder eine schnelle Uberfahrt bringt Sie auch. Erstaunliche Restaurants sind in der Stadt Ocean Grove, oder nur wenige Blocks entfernt in Asbury Park!

Unser charmantes Strandhaus ist dekoriert und eingerichtet, um Ihren Aufenthalt so komfortabel und mühelos wie möglich zu gestalten. Das Haus verfügt über drei geräumige Etagen, die kürzlich gestrichen und mit neuen Holzböden im ganzen Haus renoviert wurden.

Das Erdgeschoss verfügt über eine private Schlafzimmer-Suite mit komplett renoviertem Badezimmer und einen separaten Raum für eine neue Waschmaschine und einen Trockner.

Hauptgeschoss (eine Ebene höher) ist ein offener Boden-Konzept, mit großen Familienzimmer und essen in Esszimmer und essen in der Küche. Auch auf dieser Etage befindet sich eine von zwei Außenveranden mit zwei bequemen Schaukelstühlen und einem Picknicktisch für 8 Personen.

Dachgeschoss (zwei Ebenen höher) hat zwei Gästezimmer, ein komplett renoviertes Badezimmer in der Halle und ein sehr großes Schlafzimmer mit einem neuen Badezimmer. Es gibt auch eine wunderbare Veranda vor dem Schlafzimmer, mit herrlichem Blick auf den See über die Straße und das Meer 1 1/2 Blocks vom Haus entfernt. Es gibt drei Rocker, zusammen mit 2 Stühlen und einem Tisch. Toller Ort, um ein Buch zu lesen oder, wenn nötig, von zu Hause aus zu arbeiten!

Haus hat auch eine erfrischende neue Außendusche mit heißem und kaltem Wasser. Und eine Auffahrt und eine Garage, die in Ocean Grove extrem selten ist, gibt Ihnen die Sicherheit, sich nie Sorgen zu machen, an diesen geschäftigen Strandtagen einen Platz zu finden!

Haus hat zentrale Klimaanlage und Wärme und einen neuen Grill im Hinterhof. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet, was Sie in der Küche benötigen, einschließlich Gewürze und Gewürze. Alle Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind inklusive Standard-Heftklammern (Papierhandtücher, Servietten, Toilettenpapier, Geschirrspülmittel, Waschmittel, Badeseife, Shampoo und Spülung, sowie Gas für den Grill.

Während der Sommermonate bietet das Haus 4 Strandpässe für Erwachsene und ein Schließfach am Strand mit 8 Strandkörben und einem Sonnenschirm.

Great Getaway

Perfect Family Beach House

This is a perfect house for a family with children or older parents. The owners are easy to communicate with and happy to answer any questions you may have. They have everything you need for beach time and rainy days, and you cannot beat the location.

Week-long Family Stay

The house is setup perfectly and very accommodating for our family of four (two kids ages 8 and 9) plus some grandparents. They make access to the beach very convenient with use of the beach locker. There was a bit of walking to access the restaurants of Asbury Park. Overall, we loved our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ocean Grove. The house was clean, comfortable and as advertised. Since it was offseason, parking was plentiful and the beach was not crowded. Thoroughly a relaxing and fun weekend down the shore. We would definitely go back again!

Great Place in Ocean Grove

The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with anything you could need. A very short walk to the ocean - which you can see from the front porch and top floor balcony. We had a great stay. The location was perfect. Parking was convenient and free (right out front). Neighborhood was very safe and picturesque. The beds were comfortable and the showers were all hot with great pressure. Our group of 7 had plenty room to sleep and hang out without feeling overcrowded. Highly recommend this place!

Wonderful beach house

One of nicest vacation stays we have ever rented. House is very comfortably set up for guests (with the exception of lack of a plunger in a house with modern bathrooms but an ancient main drain that clogs.) It has a good battery of cooking equipment, a grill in the backyard, kids books and toys - NOT the usual motley assortment of second rate toys and kids books that got left at the beach. But it would also work for a family with teens or 2 couples. Two ensuite bathrooms: one is a 2nd floor show-stopper with balcony, the other on the ground level. Porches overlook pond that separates Ocean Grove form Bradley Beach, Walk to beach is easy enough for a 2 and 1/2 year old. modern washer/dryer. Did I mention how pretty the house is inside? Walk in or sit on the porch and it feels like a a holiday.

Good for All Ages

We have stayed an average of 3 to 4 rental houses per year since retiring in 1999 (including several in Ocean Grove). Obviously each one has its strong points and weak points. And I tend to be fairly critical because I had a background in facility engineering as an occupation. Having said that, “Summer Cottage” is at the top of my list in many categories. The house is very “child friendly” which didn’t mean much to us being a group of 75+ people. But we were very impressed with the things which were available for the younger generation. And we were surprised how clean and well maintained the house is, thinking that it is used by children. Didn’t find dirt – even in the corners. And the interior paint job is absolutely the best I have ever seen. I wish I could do as well! Every day, one of us would notice something additional that we would comment on in a positive way. So let me just list a few of the positives. Good lighting and comfortable seating for reading activities (and plenty of good books), good selection of cooking supplies & utensils, a working Amazon Echo device (which we made good use of), excellent washer & dryer, user-friendly bathrooms with hooks & rods, good hvac system, good internet, décor which is time appropriate to the town, excellent location with the best parking in the town (this is extremely important in Ocean Grove). We found no maintenance issues – which is very unusual. There are great views from the two porches with views of the ocean and the nearby lake. The boardwalk is a short block and a half away. The house has combination locks so we didn’t need to keep track of keys. There are “better than average” written instructions for use of the house and check-out procedures. I could go on and on, but won’t. Really, the only negative comment we would have, is that it has fairly low “curb appeal”. Because of the flood plain, the main living floor is one flight up from the pavement. And the steps are rather rough looking. But we didn’t spend a lot of time on the stairs and were more than willing to overlook that one drawback. We would strongly recommend this rental house but we hope others would not want to pick the same date we want in the future.

Fantastic House for family vacation in Ocean Grove

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend at Lisa's house in Ocean Grove. The location is fantastic with ocean views from the porches and a short walk to Main Ave. The house was very clean, well laid out, well stocked, and even had plenty of toys for the kids. Lisa was really great to work with and quickly got back to me with any questions I had. I would book this house again in a heartbeat!

The total package!

I NEVER write these reviews - but felt this was so extraordinary that I had to write this one. This OG property is amazing. It is incredibly clean, convenient, roomy, and has every thoughtful amenity you can imagine. If you are looking for a stress-free beach vacation, this one is IT! From the moment I booked, Lisa the owner was unbelievably attentive to my every question. She was available by text to answer anything and even communicated just to see how we were doing! I could not have asked for a better host. I stayed here with my daughter, my son-in-law and their two children ages 3 and 8. Everyone has his or her own space; I even had my own little suite downstairs when I needed to get away! Lisa even provided superb toys for the kids, extra condiments, wonderful books and so much more. The beach locker let us walk the block to the beach without dragging chairs, umbrellas, etc. and the hot outdoor shower was perfect to use to remove sand before going into the house. I would absolutely stay here again - just checking out my calendar. Thank you for everything, Lisa!

Beautiful beach getaway

We stayed at Lisa's home for a beach bachelorette getaway and it exceeded all our hopes and expectations! Perfect location whether you want to spend time at the beach or explore Ocean Grove and Asbury Park (easily within walking distance). Everything was clean and exactly as advertised in the listing. Plenty of space for us to hang out, and we especially loved all the sweet personal artwork and other touches around the house. The picnic table and rocking chairs on the deck were also a favorite spot to have breakfast and relax before starting our days. Lisa was a wonderful and attentive host, and very easy to communicate with. If you're heading down to Ocean Grove, you want to stay at this home!!!

This property has everything you need for a seamless vacation. The location and views are amazing from the porch or upper deck. OG is a great hidden gem with Victorian architecture. Stroll the streets and take it all in. All I can say I can say is “Book It!”

Wonderful Ocean Grove weekend

The house is beautiful. It’s comfortably and tastefully furnished and is well equipped with everything you need. The location can’t be beat. Just a block from the beach with a view of the lake and ocean from the front porch and sun deck. There is also a locker on the beach with beach chairs and umbrella. We were a group of five women on a weekend retreat. The space worked perfectly for us. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We hope to return.

Great Location! Comfortable home!

This is a great rental property! The house is so well taken care of and feels like you are staying at the house of a friend. The kitchen is the best equipped I have ever seen for a rental. We cooked a new year's eve feast and had more than everything we needed to make the intricate meal that was planned. The listing is very accurate so that you get a very clear picture of the setup at the house. It is very close to the beach. I brought a stroller for my 3 year old and never needed to use it since we were so close to the beach. The owners are very available and prompt to respond to any questions.

Weekend getaway with friends

My wife and I were traveling to Asbury Park with some friends and came across Lisa's house. The location of the house is perfect, it's right on the beach and is walking distance to Asbury. The house itself is beautiful and well maintained and the pictures don't even do it justice. Additionally the check in/out process couldn't be easier and Lisa couldn't have been more accommodating to our various requests. I highly recommend this property if you are looking to visit the area.

Awesome beach house

First, I want to say how amazing Lisa was in ensuring we had a great stay. The whole experience felt like I was dealing with a family friend that cared about us. She checked in at times to make sure everything was ok which I sincerely appreciated. Once we checked-in, we knew we picked the right place. It was super clean and cozy. The owners obviously care about upkeep because there was precisely 0 issues with the place. It honestly felt like a home away from home but with an added bonus of being close to the water. My kids are already asking if we can stay there again next summer. I would definitely book this place again in a heartbeat.

Perfect Weekend at the Shore

My family and I decided to go down the shore at the last minute to get out of the heatwave in the city and this was clean and nice and comfortable AND super close to the beach (you can see it from the porch)! Lisa was so nice to work with and made everything very easy. We walked to Asbury for dinner and had a great time walking around the cute town of Ocean Grove. I would highly recommend this great place for a weekend away!

Stayed here with friends for a wedding in Asbury Park. Beautiful house and great location. Beautiful view of ocean from porch and master bedroom. House is updated and clean. Fully equipped. Outdoor shower is great. 1 min walk to OG beach. Very close to Asbury Park. 20 +/-min walk to Asbury Park beach. Check out list a little long for a spot that includes a cleaning fee, but owner is communicative and helpful. Would recommend.

Wedding Weekend

We decided to rent a home rather than a hotel for a family wedding in Asbury Park and this location was absolutely perfect! The house was equipped with everything imaginable and then some ... our grand daughter even had toys to keep her occupied! The home is decorated beautifully - has a wonderful flow with comfortable furniture to lounge on or farmhouse tables for cards and games. A very easy short walk to the beach; having lockers with chairs and umbrellas stored at the waters edge was another pleasant surprise. Fantastic beautiful beach retreat!

Absolutely fantastic stay at beautiful ocean grove, the house is in a prime location- a stone throw from the beach. The house is beautifully furnished with all the amenities you need - well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and washer / dryer. Lisa was an amazing host, incredibly flexible with offering both an early check in and late check out. Communication was great over the weekend making sure we had everything we need. Thank you Lisa for a great stay!

Hidden Gem in a perfect location

We were looking for a house to attend an event in Asbury park. Price/location were the most important. This house had both, along with a beautiful interior and great water views. With the boardwalk within a block, we were able to walk everywhere. Bedrooms were perfect for our group. The house has the old charm of a shore home, with very nice bedrooms and views

I am a working mom of three kids, who fell in love with the beach in my childhood, vacationing every summer with my parents at my grandparents in Mattituck, eventually summering in the Hamptons at my aunts' as a teen and college student. I discovered Ocean Grove while on a hiatus from work - researching the possibility of owning and running a bed & breakfast. Instead of a B&B, we fell in love with the charm of Ocean Grove and purchased our house. I went back into Corporate Retail America and work in NYC. Ocean Grove, remains my most favorite spot to decompress & make lasting memories with my family. My house is truly a place to just kick back, and enjoy life and the beach!

Ocean Grove was a peaceful get away from NYC, that we have loved for over a decade. We now enjoy it with our children, who have also fallen in love with it. Our house is so well suited for the perfect beach vacation!

Our house is fully equipped with all the necessary comforts of your home. Spacious floor plan allows for easy family & friends gatherings. We also have a very rare feature, a drive-way in Ocean Grove, which is such a benefit with parking challenges. You will always have a spot in the driveway and always a spot across the driveway on the street!
