Beautiful place to stay

Waterfront with gorgeous view of the ocean, both outdoor / indoor pools and hot tubs to enjoy, close locations to great places to visit. Nothing but great things to say about this place. Highly recommended!

Thanksgiving Getaway

The condo was great! We all had a relaxing time and loved the location and what was offered at the property. We would go back again. There were 6 of us and all adults with plenty of room. We did not cook while there but it could be done.

A week away with friends

We enjoyed our week at South Winds Excellent location for us but the indoor pool cannot be considered an indoor pool as it is not enclosed and not heated we were disappointed as a note there are no small spoons or oven mitts used a towel other than that it was great thanks again

Wonderful Property

Beautiful unit, well located, plenty of room for our family of 7. We had one very rainy day so loved the indoor pool, and direct access to the beach was great for the nice days.

Awesome family vacation rental

Rental was clean, pool and beach access was awesome. Our family thoroughly enjoyed are stay. We were able to cook break fast and quick meals at the condo. The condo was spacious. We will be back in the up coming years, thats a guarantee!

March Break getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Southwind! The property/grounds are lovely, the indoor and outdoor pools and the lazy river were fantastic. It was great to have beach supplies (chairs etc) available to use. Our unit was bright, clean and spacious. We loved that we were only a short drive from the Grand Strand, but that the property is nice and quiet. Easy access to *everything* - minigolf, shopping, restaurants, groceries. Highly recommend staying here - we hope to escape another Canadian winter here next year.

Love that view!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful view with great deck furniture. Beds were very comfortable, and condo was very clean but there was a musty smell upon entering and on the couch. The pictures are not up to date and don't represent the current furniture. Missed that recliner that my husband wanted! Could use updates in the bathroom and looked like mold on the shower door? Things that were noticeable but all in all a very nice place to stay. Management was very quick to respond when needed and I would definitely recommend South Wind 1104.

Great stay at the South Winds Resort. The units are very comfortable. No bells or whistles with this listing, bring everything you need, especially toilet paper, not supplied. The description of what's included is posted and correct, read and prepare. I would stay here again, but prepare accordingly.

Gorgeous view! Meets all our spring break needs!

I would give this property 5 stars but the cleanliness was a factor, however, the management made it right and quickly! Was a new cleaning crew and a bit of a learning curve but we were accommodated fully. The option of indoor heated pool and hot tub is amazing for the cooler days. Outdoor hot tub and lazy river were under construction but the indoor options were there and more useful for march. The ease of beach access and private entry and parking made us feel so safe. No issues with trespassers like you see a few miles south. We always felt safe and secure. Our 2nd time and we will be back!

Condo is nice but.....

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Repairs, cleanliness, and customer definitely need to be improvement. The floors were filthy, dirty towels were left in bedroom, patio door lock broken, light over range didn’t work, chair on patio was broken. No lobby nor no front desk service. Had to you to walk to hotel next door for service. Which I refuse. I drove to Luxury property office and no one was available (note on door saying call to make an appointment). Total inconvenience !!! Customer service is key!!

Location, location, location!

The location is absolutely perfect! We loved how close it was to the boardwalk fun, but also an easy drive to NMB. The condo wasn’t the cleanest when we arrived (food under the table, candy wrappers in a bedroom), but nothing major. We had a bigger issue upon arriving and Luxury Beach Rentals was very quick to make it right. They also came to fix a few minor things during our stay upon request. Also, the owners have made significant changes to the decor/furniture and the pics on the listing haven’t been updated (as of this review). So that was quite a shock upon walking in since we were expecting something totally different appearance wise. Obviously not the end of the world, but I feel like owners and management companies should be transparent and update the listings when there are major changes. Overall, we had a great week and we’d definitely rent from Luxury Beach Rentals again.

Good vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great location and rental has everything needed. Overall, theCondo was nice but not my favorite due to a few minor inconveniences that were not even big enough to report. The jetted tub- was so looking forward to this only all kinds of black stuff oozed from the jets and silt covered theBottom of the tub after it was filled. The laundry area had a sewage smell when we went to do laundry that seeped into the whole unit when the area was opened . It eased after a few days but was unpleasant. The queen bed in 3rd bedroom squeaked no matter how small the movement. The pest control people showed up one morning and needed to gain entrance to the unit. When I opened the door, a neighbor was yelling at the technician and the tech just walked in without explanation and started spraying. My husband and son were in the bathrooms and he needed to gain access. I had seen it posted but had no idea he would need access or the time, so we were not prepared.

Great location, great view, plenty of space, needs minor updates

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall was great! When we arrived though the floors were not clean. There was dog hair everywhere (long white fur) and it was all over the carpet in the back porch as well. We alerted management and they sent someone to clean the floors the next day. The kitchen was not stocked well with cooking supplies. In particular, the frying pans are in bad shape and unusable due to the amount of scratches and flaking of nonstick coating. Need some new kitchen supplies for sure. The sink in master bath was clogged with hair so we alerted management of that and someone came up to unclog it. Otherwise the building and unit were great! Very convenient, lots of space. Would have appreciated less decor everywhere... it was too much clutter and with small kids with us it was hard to keep out of their reach. We appreciated the amount of towels available and the fact that there was laundry available. Also was nice to have some kids beach toys and a pool noodle in the closet. Would stay again but hope some updates are done before then.
