Epische Berghütte in Colorado mit atemberaubender Aussicht! Fern und doch in der Nähe von allem ..... und total Colorado. 4x4 in den Wintermonaten empfohlen. 30 Hektar auf einem Hügel, der Ihr Herz höher schlagen lässt. In der Nähe des Fraser-Granby-Trails, 1 Meile, der in den Wintermonaten kilometerlange, hervorragend präparierte Trails bietet und in den anderen Monaten Radfahren und Wandern. Gute Idee, Hunde und / oder Schusswaffen zum Schutz vor Wildtieren mitzubringen, obwohl Elche und Hirsche meistens zu sehen sind, sind Bären und Berglöwen in der Gegend. Gegebenenfalls sind Begegnungen in der Regel nicht aggressiv oder problematisch. Hüttenbesitz ist Berghang mit viel zu erkunden. Die Kabinenzimmer sind alle groß, insbesondere das Hauptschlafzimmer mit einem eigenen Luxusbad, das nur schwer zu verlassen ist !! Strahlungswärme in Boden und Kamin sorgt für Wärme und Atmosphäre. Deck ist perfekt positioniert, um Dutzende von Kilometern zu sehen und perfekt für nächtliche Sternbeobachtungen! Sie werden erstaunt sein, wie viel in der Nacht dort oben ist. Kabine kann 10+ mit Schlafraum über 3. Schlafzimmer halten, und Dachbodenbereich kann 2 oder 3 schlafen.

Die größte Beschwerde der Gäste war so friedlich und gelassen. Jäger lieben die Abgeschiedenheit und den Zugang zu lokalen Gebieten. Familien lieben die Größe und die Nähe zu Granby Ranch, Devil's Thumb und Winter Park Resorts. Nicht weit vom Rocky Mountain National Park entfernt, 25 bis 30 Minuten vom Grand Lake, dem Zugang zum Park, entfernt.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass es sich bei dem 4x4 SUV um ein Fahrzeug handelt, in dem Sie während der Schneemonate ankommen. Sommerautos sind in Ordnung, aber "Schultermonate" um die Schneesaison (Oktober-Mai) könnten schwierig sein. Schneereifen helfen bei jedem Fahrzeug, wenn Sie sie haben können.

Mountain Escape

We really enjoyed our stay at this mountain top cabin. It is a very cozy cabin far enough away to be able to relax and enjoy the scenery, but close enough to town to be convenient. We will be returning in the future and would recommend to anyone.

Granby stay at the mountaintop cabin

This was a beautiful property with INCREDIBLE views. Also a pretty short drive to both Granby and Winter park. The place was very clean and the host is responsive. I would stay here again!

Just book it !

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. We unwound on the deck , watching the amazing sunsets, soaked in the hot tub for HOURS , slept in and connected as a family. As Chistians, we felt our hearts drawn closer to God as we rested and refilled our souls at this lovely cabin on the hill.

Amazing!

My wife and I stayed in this cabin on our honeymoon, it was perfect for us 2 and our doggies. The views this cabin has are amazing! We were only 30ish minutes away from the RMNP and just a few minutes from Granby. It is secluded but also close enough to things around there. We will be coming back!

Granby cabin

Secluded property is easy to get to. I was a little bit concerned getting to the cabin based on reading other reviews, but I’m happy to say we had no issues and it was not as difficult as I thought it would be. The cabin is cozy and views are fabulous. I would definitely stay here again.

RMNP western gate mountain top cabin

We spent a week visiting RMNP using the cabin as our home base. It gave us a great place to come home to with beautiful views and everything we needed to fix wonderful home cooked breakfasts and dinners. It has a beautiful fireplace but it was too warm this week for us to use it. If I ever get to come out here again, I will stay here again.

I can’t say enough great things about this home! The views were stunning, location was great and it was so comfortable for our family. The amenities a large kitchen, fireplace, and new hot tub really made it hard to leave to do our planned activities. Hope to come back again!

the property is exactly as described and exactly what you see in pictures. the host and the owner are awesome and there with any questions or needs. the place is beautifully secluded on top of the hill and at the very end of the road so you are literally all by yourself but not far from the highway. it is an awesome place.

Perfect place to enjoy Colorado

This house is a beautiful, well kept cabin with amazing views! We enjoyed the beautiful mountain views and comfortable furnishings and long walks with the dogs. The house had everything we needed and provided easy access to everything — RMNP, plenty of hiking trails, restaurants, grocery store, and breweries in Granby and Fraser and more. We can’t wait to visit again!

We are property managers for our good friends who live in Texas and cannot use this place enough. Their loss is your gain as this "remote" cabin, situated in the middle of all the fun things to do in Grand County. Make sure you bring your 4x4 or AWD vehicles in non-summer months as the access to the property would require it.

Hand built by owner in 2013-2014. Bucket list accomplishment.
Remote yet close to it all. A luxury cabin to say the least.
Unplug from the busy-ness of life, and recharge batteries with loved ones and new 4 legged friends.
Mangers spent the entire 2015 year and love nearly every minute of it. The views are amazing but accessing the property will require 4x4 or AWD vehicle in winter and shoulder seasons. Summer is ok for all types of cars.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

Views, access to trails for hiking and skiing, large 36 acre footprint, unplugged yet close to all the amenities. Local wildlife very friendly and will approach cabin frequently. Bears, deer and moose are most often seen, while elk, rocky mountain hares and foxes are around a bunch too. Cabin is not wired for cable, DirecTV or high speed WiFi. We have "low speed" wifi suitable for email and SD movie streaming, but you might have to spend time talking, visiting and exploring the local area instead of "surfing the internet" while on vacation here. GO OUTSIDE! Many guests have commented that at first it was a struggle and inconvenience, but by trips end they loved just hanging with the family and doing stuff, instead of surfing. Oxygen service highly recommended and can be provided onsite upon arrival.
