Our trip to universal

The property was great for the price. Theres only one shower from the photos we thought there where 2 so for 7 of us to shower we had to be creative. The other thing was the mattresses I would recommend buying new ones. The one in the middle bedroom was so uncomfortable every time I got out of bed it squeaked so much it woke up My hubby. The couch is a futon so not much from to sit and watch tv. There’s only one TV. We had iPads down our little ones so it worked out. There was no direction on what to do with the trash bags. All in all it was a decent place to stay. FYI we took our own towels to avoid any issues As the feedback we got was not to get Makeup on them. I would also recommending bringing your own Clorox wipes to wipe up the kitchen if your cooking there. The place is perfect if your looking for somewhere to sleep with room for 8 people.

This property is miss represented on the web site. It DOES NOT sleep 6 adults and 4 children. It DOES NOT have 2 baths. It has 1 1/2 baths. I expected 2 showers. Look at the pics on line. There are 2 pics of a bed made up in the living room. This is made up from the couch sections, but is smaller by nearly 12" than a full or double size which aren't really 2 person beds. This only sleeps 4 adults and the bed in the 2nd BR has the center support crashed in. The property was not ready at the 4 pm check in time. The property manager gave us the wrong code for the key. The house was not cleaned properly. 2 dirty towels were left in the bathroom, and I ruined 2 pair of white socks just walking in the bathroom as they turned black. 1 smoke detector was pulled off the ceiling with high voltage wires hanging out. Only 2 out of 5 other smoke detectors worked. 2 windows could not be locked and were boarded up from the outside. the back door window also could not be locked. Many more things. Someone else lives at the property and this was not disclosed. they had a separate entrance, but walked daily past the Mstr BR window that could be opened with a phillips screw driver.Extremely disappointed.

NIce place, but a few mishaps

It started off with no communication from the property owner. There were no directions or conversations about the check in process. There was no number or email to get in touch with so I just arrived at the house hoping someone was there. There was a realtor sign on the front lawn so we tried to call the number on there but wasn’t getting through. After talking to VRBO customer service we were able to get in touch with the owner and was able to get in to the house. The house was clean and comfortable, WiFi was provided, no complaints about the house itself. One of the neighbors had one of our cars towed claiming it was blocking their driveway even though it was not. Then at some point between 3-6am and 2 cars of ours got broken into and valuable items were stolen. It seemed like a pretty decent neighborhood and the house was nice too, nothing exceptionally special. The experience from the very first day just wasn’t great and ending our stay with two separate car situations really just made the entire experience worse.

Great Property, nice neighborhood

We loved spending time at Villa De Julia. It was clean, the neighborhood was nice and quiet, and plenty to do nearby. The only negative thing was the internet/tv had issues on and off the whole time. Other than that, it was great. I would definitely recommend!

Recently refurbished so everything is fresh and new. Property was priced properly.

The furnishings were modest but serviceable. With young children in the home, the sparse approach worked well for us. Our daughter lives near by so we simply needed extra space for family to sleep. While you could squeeze 10 to sleep, The property is comfortably appointed to sleep 8. Sheets and towels were nice quality. The train set was a huge hit with the kids. The house has a smart TV, but the Internet connection was sketchy which resulted in a lot of buffering. Julia, the property manager, rates 5+ stars. She was very helpful and responsive. Thanks for everything Julia!
