The home was beautiful and as described we had an overall good time. However we arrived on a Tuesday to a pool that was disgusting and not clean. After 3 calls and wasting my vacation time due to long wait to speak with someone, we learned that they are not cleaned in between guests. Once the pool guy came which was very late Wednesday afternoon he found that the prior guest left all kinds of toys in the pool that got stuck in the skimmer and shut the pool down. Without seeing that who ever cleaned the house after that guest could have clearly seen the algae and hair bows all in the bottom of the pool. We had arranged to spend our first full day getting settled and having a pool day well that didn’t happen since we couldn’t use the pool til Thursday as it had to be shocked and he had to come back Thursday to check the levels and add more chemicals to it to correct it. We didn’t pay for pool heat but the heat was turned on soo high no one could turn the jets on in the hot tub as it would have burnt you. The pool and hot tub were so hot the rest of the trip you could see the steam coming off. One of the bathrooms had a drain so clogged that no one could shower in it, there was trash in the floor of one of the bedrooms and a bench at the kitchen table had a visibly loose leg that if someone sat on it would have broke immediately. My complaint is to handles the house after check out, they are clearly not making sure the house is thoroughly cleaned and ready for the next guest. The house is beautiful and has a ton of space but in order for it to stay as great as it is the after church out visit needs to be addressed.
