Auf der Eingangsebene finden Sie das komfortabel eingerichtete Wohnzimmer mit einem Holzkamin und einem Flachbild-TV. Genießen Sie den Waldblick durch die großen Fenster. Hohe Decken mit knorrigen Kiefern- und glänzenden Holzböden betonen das frische Erscheinungsbild des Anwesens. Convenient location

Our unit was changed at the last minute due to plumbing issues near original unit. This unit was called an upgrade but it didn’t seem better than the unit we secured originally. The entire unit smelled moldy but it was clean so we dealt with it. We opened the patio door to get fresh air in daytime and it helped. The towels smelled like wet dog (gross) and the shower knobs were very hard to adjust. Overall, it was fine for the little time we spent in unit. The location was central to everything and we enjoyed north Tahoe immensely!

Great Location to Escape

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the townhome is comfy and in a quiet location and was perfect for our 6 day stay. The kitchen is nicely outfitted to cook meals. The little balcony is nice to sit out amongst the trees and enjoy a morning coffee and afternoon glass of wine (I would suggest some better wine glasses and larger coffee mugs 😆). Bath Towels were scarce, literally 1 per person (up to 4 ppl). Having a W/D was great - so we could wash as needed - especially towels. A few maintenance items were noticed, but didn’t affect our stay. For summer visitors it would have been nice to have pool towels provided and maybe some plastic glasses to enjoy a beverage by the pool. I get that a lot of guests might be driving in and can pack to accommodate, but we flew in from out of town.

Upon arrival this visit I noticed the batteries In thermostat needed to be replaced and a light cover had popped off one of the bathroom lights, I sent First Accommodations an email and they were out within 12 hours to fix both. Fantastic place, great service!

Stayed here for a few days for our summer vacation and the overall stay was okay. There were some pros to staying here. It’s a good location and close to the lake. The neighborhood is quiet and people were friendly. We also thought the kitchen and living room were inviting. However, there were quite a few cons. The refrigerator door wouldn’t close properly. So we had to actually push the door in tight order for it to stay shut. The upstairs needed serious attention. The runners looked really old and dirty and the comforter looked outdated. The restroom is in need of some TLC as well. The property manager did respond to our emails, which we appreciated. Don’t know if we’d stay here again, but it was a good price for its location.

Clean, sufficient, no frills

Sufficient and basic accommodations for a quick ski weekend. The home was clean but lacking in some pretty basic amenities. I understand they have “starters” of toilet paper and the like but I didn’t expect to have to bring my own hand soap for the bathrooms.

Reviewer Comments: This was a good place to spend a long ski weekend as it was near family. Kitchen has been updated and has a good amount of dishes. New floors, but could use a mat or something for wet shoes and snow gear. Place was clean. Bed comfortable but the sheets are old. Little far to walk to the clubhouse for the hot tub and there are a lot of rules (no drinks, not open Sunday, etc). Towels nice and thick, but really could use some hot tub/swim towels as you get 4 bath towels for the condo so if you have more than 2 people, you have to keep throwing them in the dryer. Yes the upstairs sink and tub door need replacing. Easy fix, not sure why it hasn't been done, but such is Lake Tahoe. A little cramped if you have someone sleeping on the foldout couch. Overall, a decent stay for the price. Especially if you do not plan to spend a lot of time in the condo.

Very clean but..The upstairs bathroom sink and tub are very old, cracked and the porcelain is worn away. The old shower door got stuck and we had to have the maintenance guy come out and fix it. First Accomodations was very responsive. The condo is close to the rock beach and the pool in the Association is very nice.

Super accommodating staff

The property managers are very responsive. We reported a problem with the window screens and they fixed it the day of. We also had a lost wallet incident, and the staff were very kind to do a search for us after we checked out. FYI keep in mind that this is a loft bedroom with a sliding screen partition. It technically can sleep 4 with the pullout couch, but with limited privacy.

Convenient place in Lake Tahoe

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found the condo to be very clean upon our arrival. The kitchen is well-stocked with appliances, pots, pans, etc, however, there wasn't any sort of dishcloth or sponge for washing dishes so we had to go buy some sponges. Having a washer & dryer in the condo was very convenient, especially since the sheets and towels were washed in a very strong fragrant detergent - my husband is allergic to all scented cleaners so we had to re-wash everything. (Definitely a suggestion to the Owner & Property Management company to take this into consideration for future guests and use "free & Clear" detergent.)The king bed was very comfortable and after being in CA for 5 days coming from VA, our first night here at this condo was the best night of sleep I had since our arrival to CA.Although this condo doesn't offer a view of Lake Tahoe, you can make a quick walk to the end of the road, and use the big crosswalk to go across the street and you are at the Lake.Others have commented on the dated bathrooms and the rusty sink and other cosmetic issues in the upstairs bathroom - yes, they could use an upgrade, but in all honesty, how much time is really spent in the bathroom to where this could cause frustration? We enjoyed our stay and appreciate the seamless check-in process.

Adorable condo, perfect for friends

Had a great stay at Carnelian Woods, perfect for a weekend skiing at Palisades - only a 22 min drive. Had everything we needed, much nicer than photos online! The bed was extremely spacious for 2 people & comfy. Definitely check out the hot tub & sauna while you’re here!

Overall our stay was nice. The condo was clean. Some elements were dated but everything worked fine. There was some confusion about deposits at first, but the check in / out process was efficient and management was responsive to our questions and requests. A nice condo at a good value.

Good location for long weekend getaway

Check in process easy and communication with property be management was clear and timely. I had read prior reviews and was prepared for additional security deposit that was charged to my visa, but returned shortly after my stay. Size of condo was perfect for my husband, 21 year old daughter and myself. Beds were great- the pull-out couch was firm as well. Bathroom upstairs was older with rusted sink that has been painted over - we were able to overlook during our short stay. The screen that separates the upstairs bedroom is primarily visual, and does not really block sound as there is a high open ceiling. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook most of our dinners in. Would stay there again

I wouldn't stay at this complex again

Condo itself is ok, big enough to sleep 3-4 comfortably. Nothing fancy but it's fine for a getaway. They conveniently left out of the description that the hot tub closes at 4pm on Sunday and before 9pm on the weekends, that's ridiculously early for peak winter time. The property manager also wouldn't let us in bring water or beer (in cans) to the hot tub area. Also don't count on having a spot to park in the lot by the condo, we had to park in a different lot one night.

Comfy but outdated

This property sleeps four but would not be comfortable with four adults. We had two adults and two teens and there was barely enough room. Unit is outdated. We’ve stayed in many units here and this was most run down unit. Nothing updated. It was clean and had a bbq on balcony which was great. They do not provide much other than starter basics. Would have been nice for them to provide a starter log. They only provide two toilet papers, two paper towels, soap for sinks etc. They did not provide more than four towels so bring more. We were very disappointed with the property management not knowing about the amenities being closed. We rented unit bc of hot tub and the clubhouse and/or hot tub was closed entire time even though they were supposed to be open. No excuses for that. Overall it was an okay unit to rent. Would not go back due to lack of room and it being outdated. A couple would be comfy there.

Lovely Stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very clean and comfortable property. Modern kitchen, big king bed, close to everything. It was perfect for our trip. Management's process was very smooth.
