Comfortable and nicely furnished
Having just stayed at this property, I can highly recommend it to anyone who has own transportation or uses public transit. There is a bus stop almost at the front door. For me it was a perfect location. Plenty of services and easy access for anything I needed. The neighbor helped me find a good Pizza delivery the first night I arrived. I’m a solo motorcycle traveler, touring Scandinavia and the land of the midnight sun for 2 months. For me the journey is the destination and I end up wherever I am when I need to stop and rest. I don’t normally have time to plan a stay like this, but timing worked well and the owner was very responsive on short notice. I would also compliment him for making timely contact & preparation to get me comfortably settled and enjoying his home as quickly as possible. He was fast to respond with any question I had. Shopping malls and grocery stores are not far away with a mini-market stocking fresh vegetables and all the basics a short walk down the street.
The house is in a rural suburb of Helsinki with easy access to major roads. Depending on winds, there’s occasional air traffic nearby, but I was not disturbed sleeping or enjoying the otherwise peaceful nature here. I made a couple of trips into Helsinki with about 30 minutes or less travel time and avoided paying for expensive hotels in crowded areas. I prefer making my own breakfast and dinners if possible and this home has a nicely furnished, clean kitchen. I’m sure a family of 4 or couples travelling together would enjoy this house as much as I have. In addition there’s a sauna in the master bathroom and all amenities you could expect to make it a relaxing and refreshing place to stay. The beds are comfortable and there is a large laundry room. Everything about this house exceeded my expectations. I would stay again if the opportunity arises.
