Diese private, geräumige Wohnung im Herzen der White Mountains ist nicht die Hütte Ihrer Großmutter. Dies ist eine neu eingerichtete Wohnung in der Nähe von allem. Der offene Grundriss, 2 Schlafzimmer, 1. 5 Badezimmer Einheit wurde vor kurzem von oben nach unten aktualisiert. Diese charaktervolle Wohnung verfügt über unverputzte Backsteine, einen eingebauten Stall, einen Gusseisen-Holzofen, entspannende Farben, neue, moderne und dennoch bequeme Möbel, komfortable neue Matratzen mit King- und Queen-Size-Betten, neue Bettwäsche und neue Badarmaturen. Die Wohnung befindet sich im zweiten und dritten Stock des alten North Woodstock Schoolhouse. Mit nur acht Einheiten im Gebäude bietet diese Wohnung eine private Umgebung im Gegensatz zu den großen Eigentumswohnungskomplexen.

Die untere Ebene verfügt über eine Toilette, ein WC, eine Büroecke und eine offene Küche / Ess- / Wohnzimmer mit einem 60-Zoll-LCD-Kabel-TV mit HBO, Soundbar und Subwoofer. Der Mudroom hat viele Aufbewahrungshaken für Ihre Jacken und horizontale Gestelle für Ski und Snowboards. Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich 7 große Fenster mit Lichtfilter, die viel Licht, Baumkronenblicke und Bergblicke hereinlassen. Die gut ausgestattete Küche verfügt über unverputzte Backsteine, einen Doppelofen und fast alles, was Sie für eine köstliche Mahlzeit benötigen.

Im Obergeschoss befinden sich zwei geräumige Schlafzimmer und ein Badezimmer. Der Master verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und einen Wohnbereich mit 42-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher, Playstation3, Wii und einem ausziehbaren Bett. Das zweite Schlafzimmer hat ein französisches Bett sowie zwei Einzelbetten. Beide Schlafzimmer haben viel Stauraum, während das zweite Schlafzimmer einen großen Kleiderschrank zum Aufhängen von Kleidung bietet. Die Schlafzimmer bieten auch Verdunkelungsmöglichkeiten für einen erholsamen Schlaf. Darüber hinaus wurden beide Badezimmer mit neuen Waschtischen und Toiletten in komfortabler Höhe überholt.

Im Schulhaus stehen Ihnen Outdoor-Aktivitäten zur Verfügung. Im Sommer können Sie vor der Haustür wandern, campen, Mountainbiken und Flussaktivitäten unternehmen. In der Nähe befinden sich die Flume Gorge und das Becken im Franconia Notch State Park, während der Whale's Tale Waterpark und Clarks Handelsposten Spaß für die ganze Familie bieten. Im Winter befinden sich Schneemobil- und Schneeschuhpfade praktisch in Ihrem Garten, während Skifahren und Snowboarden in der Nähe von Loon Mountain (5 Minuten), Cannon Mountain (10 Minuten) und Waterville Valley oder Bretton Woods (30 Minuten) stattfinden.

Durch die schlüssellose Tastatureingabe entfällt der Aufwand für den Schlüsselaustausch.

Great location! Excellent communication

Absolutely loved it! Location couldn't be better. Great communication with host . Would recommend highly. Both bedrooms upstairs were a great size. There are boot and glove dryers. Overall experience was great! Can't wait to go again !

Absolutely amazing!

We have come up to this area many times and this was by far the best stay! All the cabinets and drawers are labeled with where to find items. Plenty of towels! A well stocked pantry! The bedrooms are HUGE and spacious! My only minor critique would be that the hot water tank is a bit small for the amount of people that can stay. Overall it was absolutely amazing and we hope to stay again in the future!

Everything we needed

This place had everything we needed. The bedrooms are huge, so you could easily have 6 or 8 people stay. The bathrooms are not huge, so shared space is tight. Kitchen is small but well equipped. The only minor negative is the heat situation. All the heat is from one very efficient unit in the living room, so it takes a while to get the whole place up to a good temperature, and without a thermostat it takes some experimenting. After the first night it had evened out pretty well so we were able to keep it on a medium setting to maintain. Not trying to scare anyone off. We were there on a very cold snowy weekend and it worked out just fine. We did not get a chance to explore the area as we came for ski races at Waterville (30 min away), but this place is nice and close to Loon Mtn. and I know there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Perfect ski getaway

The property was lovely, as pictured. Unlike many other places we’ve stayed, this space had a nicely equipped kitchen, well organized, and we didn’t have to go out for the little items one usually forgets. Host communication was also excellent.

Not as expected

We are not thrilled with our stay. Upon arrival, part of the check in process is flipping breakers for the water heater. This is not mentioned in the listing details and we didn’t know we wouldn’t have hot water for showers upon arrival. That was frustrating and very inconvenient. We waited two hours to take showers and even then only two of us were able to take quick warm showers. The third person ended up with a cold shower 2 minutes in. The last person in our group had to wait another couple hours to take a warm shower. I texted Caitlin upon arrival (as per her instructions in the check in papers) to inquire how long it should take for us to have hot water. She didn’t reply via text but instead through the VRBO messaging system. So I didn’t even get the message until hours later when I checked my email. In addition, none of the doors to the bedrooms or bathroom upstairs would close. We had to really struggle and force them to close somewhat in order to have any privacy whatsoever. The property listed blackout shades in the bedrooms but they can’t be lowered properly because of the air conditioner units. So they were useless at blacking out the room. Also, there were little gaps around the air conditioner attachments in the windows and we kept getting bugs inside, especially moths at night. The condo is on the second floor with many stairs (and long dark hallways if arriving at night) in order to get to it. Once in the condo, there’s another long very steep set of stairs to reach the bedrooms and shower. This may be a concern for those with mobility issues, small kids, or lots of luggage. We had kids and a few bags/suitcases and it was a chore checking in and out of the building. The condo itself is not very well maintained. The paint in one of the bedrooms is peeling from the wall pretty heavily and the overall condition of the property just needs some TLC. This place definitely did not meet our expectations and we were pretty disappointed with it. We wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

Charming apartment in the heart of Woodstock

We had a lovely stay at the school house. We came during Presidents’ Day weekend and loved the location! It was close to Loon as well as many restaurants and the ice castles. Caitlin couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

Second time, as good as the first!

This was our second stay at this property, and we had an even better experience! The weather was great, and, once again, we found the communication proactive and extremely responsive, the setting beautiful, everything well-stocked, and the property, in general, a great fit for our family. It was my parents' first trip to the mountains for an overnight or at a Homeaway-type travel experience, and they were raving too! We'll be back again!

My family and I love the Schoolhouse! This was our second stay and we had an awesome week! Great location in the White Mountains! My only criticism is I wish there was a washer and dryer so I could pack less 😊 but still a great place to stay!

Returning customer who will return again. Great, clean condo.

This is the second time we’ve visited the area and stayed at the condo. Very well kept, very clean and well stocked. The location is great. You can walk to the Woodstock Brewery Inn or any part of town and it is centrally locates to the major sites. The owners Caitlin and Chris were great and very easy to communicate with. I would recommend their condo to anyone who wants a great place to stay while enjoying the area.

Very clean!!

This place was very clean and comfortable. Has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. There is plenty of room and lots of board games to play in the evenings. The air conditioning is great and there's one in each bedroom.

Cosy, comfortable, great for our family.

The condo was charming, spacious and comfortable after a long day hiking in the mountains. The location was quiet and central to our activities. It had all the things we needed to cook meals and relax. I would like to return to the area in winter!

Stayed many rentals in Lincoln...this is One of the better ones!

This condo is very open and roomy. The bedrooms are huge. We were 2 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of space for us and others could've joined us. The kitchen is very well stocked. There are games and video games for the kids (and adults). The beds were very comfortable and the A.C. in all the rooms definitely helped with the hot Lincoln nights. I have only 2 tiny gripes....the house has a strange smell....not sure if it's the building being older or someone before us smoked in the unit. Also, I thought there was a washer and dryer available but I guess I read that in one of the other 2 units for rent in the building and confused it. Overall, a nice place to stay and we would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Schoolhouse Condo!

The location is convenient to several restaurants, shops, and the property itself is located directly in the Pemi River. We walked to the Woodstock Inn and Brewery for dinner as well as Truants Tavern. The Cascades Park was a great find as we explored the village. While unloading our vehicle I met a former student Jim who was stopping by to see how his old school looked today. He had grown up with one of the Faddens from Faddens General store and told me a little about the history of the school and surrounding business. The condo was clean and very large.

Great space in a beautiful place!

My husband, 9 year old twin boys and I had an amazing trip to Woodstock NH. Our stay in Caitlin and Chris' condo had all the comforts of home. My boys loved that there was a PS3 and Wii while my husband and I appreciated the spaciousness, the stocked kitchen and the very comfortable mattresses! Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the river made this the perfect location. Would love to stay in this condo next summer!

Amazing weekend!

The condo is absolutely gorgeous. The entire place was immaculate and beautifully decorated. So close to Loon mountain! (It took us less time to drive back than it did waiting for the shuttle to closer resorts we stayed at previously) Caitlin was accommodating, informative, and extremely understanding after an issue we had. The location was perfect for us and we hope to be back next year.

Perfect getaway to a lovely spot!

We stayed here for a few days on a ski week trip, and we found the experience terrific. Unlike some rentals where the kitchen is poorly provisioned, or other amenities Limited, this space was perfect for our family. Plenty of bed space, living area, and games to keep us occupied when not Outdoors. Being walking distance to the center of town was also a nice luxury. The only challenge was locating it in the dark with the street sign obscured, but beyond that no problems whatsoever! Additionally, there were just enough personal touches to make it seem like you were living in a loved home, but not so much that you felt intrusive.

My husband and I are both Air Force pilots with hectic schedules. We love the White Mountains and bought this condo to ensure relaxing vacations for years to come. We hope to share that love of the Whites with our guests. Our condo features some aviation, winter sports and general outdoors artwork.

I have vacationed in the Whites since I was a kid. My husband, from Colorado, fell in love with the area when I brought him snowboarding at Cannon Mountain and hiking on Mt Washington. Our good friends own the unit across the hall, and when this one came up for sale, we jumped at the opportunity.
