Das Sand Angel befindet sich in einem der neuesten Resorts von North Padre Island, Padre Beach View. Das Resort befindet sich gegenüber dem Whitecap Beach. Sand Angel ist eine von nur 5 Einheiten am Pool. Erster Stock ist ein offenes Konzept Wohnzimmer, Essbereich und Küche mit übergroßen Granitinsel. WC im ersten Stock. Alle 3 Schlafzimmer befinden sich im Obergeschoss zusammen mit einem Dachboden. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad und einen Balkon mit Blick auf den Pool und den Strand. Großer Salzwasserpool mit Sitzgelegenheiten auf einer Seite und Düsen zum Entspannen. Auf der anderen Seite befindet sich ein flaches Regal, in dem sich Kinder oder Erwachsene im Wasser aufhalten können. Sitzen Sie im Schatten an einem der Picknicktische oder auf einem Stuhl auf dem gesamten Pooldeck. Gruben rund um den Poolbereich. Der Strand ist direkt gegenüber. 2 reservierte Parkplätze direkt vor der Hintertür zum bequemen Be- und Entladen.

Okay condo, not great

This condo is only okay for the following reasons (pros and cons).Kitchen: not many dishes or glasses, nonstick pans are so scraped up they can't be used, no spices or supplies other than salt/pepper, dishwasher is at end of useful lifeBedrooms: beds are NOT comfortable, sheets are old and don't fit well anymore, beds are squeaky and mattresses worn outBathrooms: decent, clean, no shampoo or conditioner, only hand soap availableLiving room: decent couches, plenty of sitting optionsPool: warm enough to swim but not comfortable on a day cooler than 75F, only being cleaned twice weekly so a lot of debris blows inBeach: close enough to walk to (there is a stretch of 50yards along a busy road, but not too bad), a few beach toys are available but no beach towelsManagement: communicates quickly during booking process but after that not much. I didn't have any huge issues to report but he didn't even respond to text on the day we left letting him know we checked outOverall: it was fine, we wouldn't stay here again unless basic upgrades are made

Long weekend

Good space and amenities. Pool just outside door. Long walk to beach if you have older people or very young kids. Place would be nice but needs deep cleaning. Dust everywhere, sandy floors, sheets not clean on beds. Towels need replacing.

Great spot close to Whitecap Beach!

We had a lovely time at this property. It is close to whitecap beach and the National seashore, so beach access is definitely a plus! I was quite disappointed in the quality of the bath towels and sheets on the beds, as they are very cheap and old. It was also clear that no one has done a deep clean in a while, as there were ants in the kitchen and living room, and children’s socks and toys beneath the living room table and under couches.

Nice stay

We enjoyed a comfortable vacay here with 3 adults and 4 children. We liked the unit’s location to the pool (steps away from back door). The beach is within walking distance, but if you have to haul stuff for children the drive on beach is very convenient. There is an outdoor shower by the pool and a hose at the back of the unit for rinsing off after beach. The unit was clean, comfortable and cute. We would return in future.

What you see is what you get. The place was very clean when we got there. It had more than enough space for all 7 of us. Had a little problem opening the main door the second day, but it was really nothing. Randy came over as soon as I communicated and fixed it. Thank you Randy,. We had a blast!

Crashing waves

Sand Angel was the perfect fit for my family. We were able to hear the crashing waves from the upstairs balcony. The pool was magnificent. The proximity to the beach was within minutes.

Pleasant, Clean, Well Decorated, Convenient to the beach

My family rented this condo. Likes: It was clean, and right next to the beach with a lovey view. The pool outside was also nice and clean. The house was well supplied with kitchenware and other things. Plenty of bathrooms, too. Dislikes: Pillows outdated, bring your own. Mattress on bunk bed needs to be replaced. There is no keriug but a coffee pot. Overall 5/5. Great place, kids would love it.

Great Gulf Townhouse

The place was exactly as described. 3 bedrooms upstairs and a great open downstairs with kitchen and living room. Pool is right outside the backyard and a short walk to the beach. The place was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommended if you are staying on the island.

Pros and Cons

This was a beautiful place to stay with our family for the last leg of our vacation and the owner was wonderful at communicating. Pros: Wonderful layout Pool was in sight from the downstairs AND from the master bedroom. Washer and dryer on site SMALL amount of detergent and sheets for laundry Great little back patio place for the baby and I to hang out while we watched the other kids in the pool Lots of towel hooks outside AMAZING view from the upstairs back patio Cons: It’s quite a walk to the beach Parking was TIGHT The beds were by far the most uncomfortable any of us had ever slept in The bunk beds were super squeaky every time someone moved The master mattress was squeaky, lumpy, and awful! There were no toiletries in any bathrooms The traffic was loud in the master bedroom. Overall, this place was great, slept our large family easily, and was a nice ending to our trip. We would stay again, but we might bring a cot next time! :)

Great Location. Amazing support.

The Sand Angel was a clutch location for walking to the beach- even better it was the part of the Corpus Christi beach that cannot be driven on. All we had to do was walk across one road to the paved walkway to get to the beach. We had three children under the age of six their safety was critical - so the location of the Sand Angel made access so easy. The amenities of the beach condo were minimal so make sure and bring your own shampoo/conditioner/ziploc bags/foil…. When lightbulbs were burned out the property managers were very responsive, replenishing and replacing burned out lightbulbs and extra dishwasher detergent within 24 hours. That was impressive. Washer amd dryer in the unit was so helpful(bring your own detergent) . And the pool right outside the back door was convenient! There were plenty of towels in the bathrooms and the beds were clean, and comfortable. Only wish there had been a feather pillow option. (But that is personal preference.). Great location. We would definitely rent again.

Perfect place for us!

We loved our stay. Randy sent us instructions for check in, and check out. I really appreciated the little things. There was a coffee filled filter by the coffee pot. There were some pods for the dishwasher and for the laundry. The place was very clean and super cute. Lots of towels for the bathrooms. Plenty of pots and pans, cups, plates, etc. We would definitely stay here again and suggest this place to our friends.

Great Place!

We loved this townhome. It felt like home. It had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. Beautifully decorated. It is right next to the heated pool. It was an easy walk to the beach. The balcony gave us a great view while we had our morning coffee. I was a little worried before our stay because I read a couple of reviews that mentioned bugs but it was obvious a lot of linens, pillows and mattress protectors were brand new and the place looked like it had been thoroughly cleaned. We had a very relaxing stay and will definitely be back.

Sand Angel is located in good location but didnt liked due to cleanliness (BEDBUG)

we stayed for 2 nights. Sand Angel is located in good location, check in process is good. two major concerns due to which I am giving one star rating 1. Found Bed bug in two guest bed rooms due to which we didnt slept till 4am in the morning , felt disgusting after seeing bed bug plus didnt had mindset to sleep in bedroom so slept in couch and in floor in living room with kids (informed the property manager but he informed that mattress are brand new). Hopefuly we didnt carried bedbug along with us. already have similar experience in San Antonia stay couple of years ago with different accomodation. 2.Booked thru VRBO and the card is charged for 59$ & 45$ for insurance. 59$ I am aware thats for property damange but 45$ not aware , when cheked with customer care they informed its for booking cancellation refund (I booked the previous day so no need to go for that insurance), when asked for refund he said its non refundable and the Cust care executive asked me to contact insurance and gave a number which is not functional)

Perfect except the bugs

Pros: Beautiful condo, well decorated, great layout for the family, including grandma! Nice pool, close to the beach. Easy check-in and quick response from the manager. Cons: It hadn't been deep cleaned in a while - dust on baseboards, tops of fixtures, under trundle, etc. There were ants in the downstairs bathroom coming in under the baseboard. We found what appeared to be bedbugs in the bottom bunk. I notified the manager, who came over and sprayed, but when we returned there was still a live bug on the mattress. I sent him a photo of the bug, and he sent it to his pest control company, who came out after our stay and said it wasn't a bedbug. I also sent the photo to the exterminator who I use for my own house, and he said it WAS a bedbug. So we bagged all of our stuff before coming home and did all the hot wash treatment, etc. My youngest child, who stayed in the bottom bunk, ended up with bites all over him. I sent a photo of his bites to the manager and let him know that I had received confirmation from my pest control that it was a bedbug. He said he takes bedbugs seriously, but that he trusts his company and that I could reach out to them if I still had concerns. I did email his pest control company a photo of the bug and the bites on my child, but I never heard back from them. Long and short; I believe it was bedbugs because it looks exactly like all the photos of bedbugs, they were along the seams of the mattress, my exterminator confirmed it, and my kid had bug bites after staying there. The owner believes it wasn't because his pest control company says it wasn't. So I don't know who is correct, but I do know that I loved the condo, but wouldn't stay there again.
