Es ist ungefähr auf halbem Weg zwischen Beaufort und Bluffton vom Highway 170. Bis zur Insel Paris sind es ungefähr 15 bis 20 Minuten. Das Haus ist komplett mit Handtüchern und Bettwäsche ausgestattet.

Marine Corps Basic Training Graduation

If you have a large group coming for a Parris Island Basic Training Graduation, this is a great place to stay. Our large family group of 12 had a grate stay here, so much better than staying in 3 cramped hotel rooms. The drive to Parris Island is about 20 min. The views of the river are fantastic. The house is a little older and showing its age, which may not be good for some people, but it is clean and comfortable, and the location is amazing.

Perfect for our needs!

River House

Walking into this house felt exactly like home. We loved the beautiful property and the dock! We spent most of our time on the porch and fishing on the dock. This was the perfect spot for us to stay for our son’s graduation. The hosts are very welcoming and kind and helpful! If we are ever in South Carolina again, we will most definitely be staying here.

Beautiful view; great location

Had a great stay at the Chechessee River House for 3 Senior siblings and spouses. House spaces -inside and out- were great with cooler weather making the outdoors quite enjoyable all day long. Upstairs bedrooms were a little difficult for a couple of us but we just planned our day to stay downstairs as much as we could. There's a well stocked book shelf and great reading spots. Fishing from the dock and by boat produced a couple of meals for us. Location is perfect as we made trips into both Beaufort and Bluffton for shopping and dinner. Owners were very responsive. We had a wonderful week-long stay!

Lovely location, could use thorough cleaning

The house was just the right size and space for a visit to the area to attend a wedding. It was homey and had all of the things we needed in the kitchen, etc. Overall, the space could use a more detailed clean as it was quite dusty and triggered allergies. The area was peaceful, and we enjoyed the scenery from the dock.

4 generations came together and spent thanksgiving together. The house and property gave everyone plenty of space for cooking, eating, fishing, fire pit star gazing, walking, play and private times. Amazing location

My family and I came to Bluffton for a wedding and wanted to take in a few beach days as well This property was perfect for our party of nine! We enjoyed watching dolphins , fishing from the dock and drinking coffee on the large screened-in back porch. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back .

Relaxing with the dolphins

We had a great time here; kitchen was plenty big enough to host our family, the dock was phenomenal, and a small pod of dolphins swam by every single morning just after sunrise. Amazing!

Well the place was centrally located to where we needed to go. The house is in need of a few cosmetics. We thought the place needs a good deep clean. Some things we noticed was cobwebs on the ceiling and walls. The bedding was outdated and the sheets and pillowcases were stained. Kitchen light fixture was broke and hanging,. One coffee maker leaked water, shortage of toilet paper..Outside front and back decks were dirty. Rain gutters need to be cleaned out as they were overflowing with debris.The inside had a musty/moth ball smell. We noticed all our clothes that we didn’t wear had that smell also. Maybe because it hadn’t been opened up enough for the spring season. Sleeping arrangements were sufficient, good hot water showers, immaculate view with beautiful sunrises.We took pictures of things that were either broken or not what they should be so we wouldn’t be charged later. Good idea for vacationers. Overall we were satisfied, but the price we paid was a little high for what we thought it could or should be. Like I said , mostly cosmetic and easy fixes.for the owners to take note of. Newer bedding number one and a good deep clean/ smell would really enhance the stays in the future. We would definitely come back if those were taken care of. Thanks Betty, we still had a good stay.

Great fishing !!

This trip was for my Grandsons graduation The reason why we chose this property was because of the dock and it didn’t disappoint!! My grandson fished the whole time we were there !! He caught about 20 sharks a stingray and some other type of fish not sure what they were his girlfriend also caught several fish. The house was large and was plenty of room for my family The only negative is that the upstairs was dusty and my Grandaughter could not sleep up there because of her allergy to dust so she slept on the couch downstairs But other than that we enjoyed our stay 😊

Family trip to see our Marine

We came up to see our son and watch the air show where he is stationed. The property is nice. Just a little dated in some areas. The porch is so nice to sit and relax. I was able to make a family meal in the kitchen. Everything needed to have a good getaway is there.

New Marines Graduation

This property was perfect huge kitchen, bedroom's accommodating for the family. 10-15 min from stores, the base, restaurants. SUN RISE beautiful. Great River house

This is an old river house, with amazing views, plenty of space for everyone. There is a fire pit, a dock, a grill, and a large kitchen. It suited our needs for extra rooms, we live in a neighborhood where they do not have VRBOs so this was 15 min away. It's dog-friendly, quiet, and very relaxing. There is a porch with rocking chairs and a swing in the yard. Large bedroom downstairs, and three upstairs. It's not brand new and has the feel of a family river house. Our family loved it.

Wonderful View and Porch, other than that....

The house is badly in need of a very deep clean and new carpeting. The carpets in every room are stained and the upstairs carpet appears to be from the year the house was built, 1983. One of our party was wearing white socks while walking around, it was very obvious just how dirty the carpets are from what was on her socks. The bathrooms are moldy and there is duct tape on the upstairs tub faucet. As soon as you open the door overwhelming musty smell hits you. We likely would have not stayed except for the fabulous view and screened porch.
