Unsere schöne 4-Zimmer-Haus blickt direkt auf Skaha Park und Strand.

Wir haben ein formelles Ess- und Wohnzimmer, ein Familienzimmer mit einem 50-Zoll-HD-Fernseher (Netflix) und ein Kinderspielzimmer mit einem 42-Zoll-TV und einem Billardtisch. Es gibt auch zwei Ausziehcouchen im Spielzimmer. Es gibt vier Schlafzimmer: drei sind Standardgröße Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten. Das Hauptschlafzimmer bietet jemandem eine schöne Oase. Es ist so groß, dass es sich anfühlt wie ein in sich geschlossenes Apartment mit einem Kingsize-Bett, einem 42-Zoll-TV und zwei bequemen Stühlen. Die Gäste lieben die Walk-in-Rock-Rock-Dusche im Hauptschlafzimmer mit Bad.

Neben dem Hauptschlafzimmer gibt es zwei weitere Badezimmer, die beide neu renoviert wurden, eines mit Dusche und das andere mit Dusche und Badewanne.

Alle vier Schlafzimmer sind klimatisiert. Wir haben keine zentrale Klimaanlage im Erdgeschoss. Wir haben viele Fans und die untere Etage des Hauses bleibt im Allgemeinen angenehm kühl.

Eine große Garage für zwei Autos bietet ausreichend Platz für die Ablage von Fahrrädern, Golfschlägern oder anderen Freizeitgeräten. Obwohl unsere Söhne gewachsen und weggezogen sind, haben wir viele Kinderbücher und Spiele (und Spiele für Erwachsene) aufbewahrt. Wir haben auch vier Kajaks, die die Gäste gerne benutzen können, sowie verschiedene Sportgeräte

Der private Hinterhof ist komplett eingezäunt und mit einer großen Terrasse und einem Grillbereich sowie einem Whirlpool für 6 Personen ausgestattet.

Zwanzig Schritte von unserer Haustür entfernt finden Sie den Skaha Park, der folgende Annehmlichkeiten bietet: Sandstrand, Konzessionen und Eiscreme, Jachthafen, Wasserpark, Tennis- und Volleyballplätze, Softball-Diamant, zwei Spielplätze und ein Außenbereich Inline-Hockeybahn. Der nächste Pub in der Nachbarschaft ist fünf Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.

The Bluffs, ein Weltklasse-Kletter- und Wanderziel, liegt weniger als zehn Autominuten von unserem Haus entfernt. Viele Menschen bevorzugen den Skaha Lake (Süden) von Penticton. Es gibt viele Freizeitmöglichkeiten, aber da es weniger Motels gibt, ist es nachts viel ruhiger.

Es ist auch perfekt für ein langes Skiwochenende (es ist eine 35-minütige Fahrt von unserer Einfahrt zum Apex-Parkplatz) oder als Ausgangspunkt, um Dutzende und Dutzende von nahe gelegenen Weingütern zu erkunden. Es gibt keine bessere Lage für einen Familienurlaub in Penticton.

Home away from home

Beautiful family home directly across from Skaha beach. Perfect for families with kids as the playground is just outside the front door. The house has everything you might need including a lovely hot tub for the evenings. The owners Rick and Karen go the extra mile to make your stay incredible. We hope to be lucky enough to get to stay here again!

Wow Skaha!

Lovely home that the hosts shared with us. The location across the street from the beach was awesome. The backyard is a lovely oasis that is quiet and the birds singing added to the enjoyment. Would recommend this place to everyone. The hosts were lovely and easy to contact.

Wonderful Lakeside Home

This is a special vacation property. Directly across from Skaha Park and Beach it makes a wonderful spot for a family or friends gathering. My husband and I were doing Ironman and it couldn't have been more perfect. Close to Eastside Road for cycling and across from the lake for practise swim's. Plus there's a garage for your bikes and a hot tub in backyard. Rick and Karen are wonderful hosts.

Home away from home...

It was serendipitous to have found Rick and Karen's home available for rent during the week we were looking for. With the beach right across the street, ice cream around the corner, kayaks for personal use, a ping pong and billiard table for evening tournaments, spacious air conditioned rooms, and a hot tub for relaxing - the listing was as described and truly exceeded our expectations! This was a much needed post-pandemic family vacation, thoroughly enjoyed by our group of 7. And we were fortunate enough to meet Rick on our last day, which made for a comforting end to our vacation. You will truly feel at-home-away-from-home. Thank you, Rick and Karen, for opening your home to us!

Group Stay

We were a group of 6 adults touring the wine country. The house was in the perfect location across from the beach and we enjoyed the kayaking and water sports. The home was large enough to fit 8 people comfortably. For our group the house was great and if you had small children would also work perfectly.

Perfect location, Comfortable stay

My extended family stayed for a week and we had the most relaxed, easy-going, trouble-free time. The house is in the perfect location - across the street from Skaha beach. The backyard is so peaceful, with beautiful flowers and quail families. It's a lovely place to enjoy your morning coffee and evening BBQ's with delicious wine. The house has every amenity you could need, including kayaks. (Just walk across the street, over the grass and sand, and right into the lake.) The little extras (pool table, LP's and record player, comfortable beds, rain shower) make it awesome. The owners are very attentive and caring, making sure we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were completely comfortable the entire time. It's quiet and relaxing and across the street from the beach - and it's the perfect place to enjoy what the Okanagan has to offer.

Location, location, location!

My extended family loved our week in Penticton by the beach. Playing in nearby parks, enormous ice cream cones, challenging cycling paths and jet skis rentals at the marina are highlights. Upstairs bedrooms have air-conditioning that kept us cool during the heat wave. Rick and Karen's backyard is an oasis. We spent most afternoons and evenings outside. During cooler evenings we enjoyed a hot tub and played pool. We can't wait to come back! Thanks again for a great stay!

Great spot for Ultraman Canada

Rick and Karen's home was perfect for our group during Ultraman Canada. The location is wonderful, quiet and the location just across the street from the Day 2 start is perfect. It is a beautiful spot, close to the lake, wonderful walking areas and running along the lake. Rick is on top of everything. He is clear with communication and made it a breeze to get into the house! We could not have asked for more. If we race here again, we will definitely plan to stay here.

Perfect home in Penticton!

A group of 8 adults stayed at Rick and Karen's house for Thanksgiving long weekend, and it was a perfect trip. The home was as described on the listing, and was clean, well appointed, and extremely spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of room for us to sleep, eat, get work done, and just hang out, without stepping on each others toes. Although we did not go to the beach, it is right across the street, and there is beach gear available for use at the house. If you're a climber, the Bluffs are as close as you can get, as the house is right at the edge of the lake. The hot tub was lovely, and the BBQ was awesome. Grocery shops are about a 5 min drive away. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay here again and definitely will for our next annual trip!

Excellent Location, Property and Owner to rent from.

Richard was great to work with as we planned and rented this excellent property. Located right across from Skaha Lake and park, you will not find a better place to call "home" for your vacation in Penticton. The property is very spacious inside and out, well maintained and the amenities are as advertise and fully met our needs. The rooms are large with queen beds and the Master Bedroom is an oasis. This is their family home so there are touches of the family's history spread throughout the house, clearly showing a well loved family grew up here. We would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone who is looking at it.

Excellent house,perfect location!

We booked this property for a 1 week stay in July,2017.We had 6 adults and 4 children ages 3 and under.The property turned out to be a perfect fit for all of us.We found the listing description as described,the house and yard were clean and well maintained and the layout was fantastic for us.The home is right across the road from the beach,a splash park and a play ground,so to load up 4 small children for a day at the beach was easy,just walk across the road!The home had a great back yard and a large deck with 2 patio tables and lots of chairs for outside dining and entertainment.A barbeque and a hot tub complemented the backyard space.Although we spent most of our time outdoors as we had great weather,the house is spacious and well laid out,so we had lots of room and never felt crowded.We found the home owners to be very friendly and easy to get in contact with and provided great customer service.We would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative,and rent it again for ourselves.The whole experience for our family was fantastic!

Our property is a spacious, inviting family home filled with every amenity you could need. The backyard is private and perfect for BBQs or enjoying our new six person hot tub. We are only 100 steps to Skaha Beach. Within steps are two playgrounds, tennis courts, exercise equipment a waterspray park, a softball diamond, an in-line skating rink, and a marina.
