Wonderful house, better neighborhood

The house was in spectacular shape, situated right next to the water. But what really separated this from any other trip I’ve taken in recent memories Where the people In the area that this houses. Everyone was so nice so welcoming and I can’t wait to go back again.

We will be back!

We rented both houses and the entire group was 100% pleased with our stay. It was a girls-only weekend, but a few of us decided it would be great to come back again with our spouses. We really didn't want to leave the main house it was just gorgeous and our cup of tea. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay.

Family fun at the lake

The property had everything we needed, The area was beautiful. Plenty of room for our group of 11. The flies were a nooses, close the doors quickly. I reached out to the property manager a week or so after I made the reservation, to inquire about the smaller house to invite additional guests, but never heard back. I tried a second time and still didn’t receive a reply to my request. Heard from property manager once final was due. Was giving entry instructions after payment was received. Property manager did check on us during our stay. Great location, because there was family from Wisconsin and Illinois. Would visit again.

A must stay location when visiting Lake Geneva!!

I arrived at the property with my 10 other family members and was pleasantly surprised at both the size and beauty of the home! Everything we needed was on site including dishes, towels bakeware etc. The owner quickly answered any questions we had and was very patient with our changing plans including the rental of the pontoon due to weather. We were just a few minutes from a large family friendly beach and 14 mins from downtown lake Geneva. The bar next door was completely quiet so no worries about rowdy bar traffic. The grill worked great and we enjoyed the burn pit outside for a little bon fire. We saw lots of baby deer around the neighborhood which the kids loved. I will 100% choose this location if ever in the area again!!

Fantastic Weekend!!!!

We loved the house and renting the pontoon. We had fun downstairs playing the games. The large table in the dinning area was perfect for the 6 adults playing cards at night. Two days on the pontoon was the best part of the weekend. Would love to rent again!!!!!!!

Delightful property

My five best friends and I spent the weekend in lake Geneva celebrating our 60th Birthday. This property was spacious and centrally located. Everything you needed was provided. The property owner was warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back

Great place for a girl's weekend

The house seemed much larger in person than what I thought from the photos. Also, there is a bar directly next door which was nice to stop by while we waited for our other friends to show up. The house was quite nice -- one of the TVs mounted on the wall fell a bit from the mount, but the communication with the hosts was great. They responded quickly and showed up to fix the TV mount right away.

Lake Como Stay

The house was dirty. It appeared that the floors had not been swept in awhile. The ceiling fans and window blinds were covered in dust. The dish washer soap dispenser did not open during its cycle so we had to wash the dishes by hand. The coffee makers did not work well. The house had a lot of ladybugs, flies and spiders. The windows were covered in spider webs. The doors have gaps between the door frame and the door. In general the entire house is run down and needs attention. The description of the property states that a beach is near by. Calling the sand area by the lakes edge a beach is very misleading. The internet did not work. I would not reccomend staying at this propery.

We needed extra bags for the comforters and linens we used. I was not aware of the clean up details because I was not in the kitchen, It would be helpful if there was a card or booklet where the key was. (I'm blind apparently and I didn't pay attention)

Perfect family house

Spacious with a GREAT great room! A full bathroom on each of the 3 levels and dining table where all 8 adults could eat together - we had plenty of space. Everything was very clean and Cass checked in with us by text the first night which was nice. Loved having the Keurig for coffee. Saw comments about the noise of the bar - it was not an issue - heard the bottles getting dumped a couple times a night, no big deal. Saw comments about little house condition issues - no big issues noticed - the house is in great condition. We enjoyed our weekend very much!

It Worked for Us!

Overall, this property was good and fit our needs. There was plenty of space for us to spread out in the house, and we liked the ability to walk to various lakeside establishments. BTW - we left a can of ground coffee in the freezer for the next guest's arrival - that was missing on our first morning. Thanks for letting us stay in your home.

Great family gathering spot!

House was clean and good sized to fit our family which was 9 people (6 adults and 3 kids and a dog). Great location just a quick walk to the water. They had paddleboards which the kids loved. Unfortunately their boat wound up in the shop but they were gracious to provide us with a gentleman who rents his boat out and ended up perfect. Wonderful boat and had a tube as well. Rented for two days and just had a blast. Good and bad to have the restaurant next door. Convenient for grabbing a bite or some bags of ice for the cooler but just need to be prepared for the late night occasional crashes of the dumpster being added to. We brought noise machines which we normally sleep with and it helped. Dog friendly which was great. The hosts are very gracious and accommodating and requests. Had an awesome experience nearby at Lake Geneva Canopy Tours and did ziplining. All in all a great family vacation spot especially for the price. Great memories had by everyone.

Great lake house

We had a great stay! Cass called me the night we checked in to let me know the ins and outside of the area and things to do while there. Their pontoon boat was broken while we were there, but they got us in touch with someone else who was willing to let us rent theirs from them. We would definitely rent again.

Really great experience

The house was really ideal in every way. Across street from community lake, does not feel touristy at all but rather just in a quiet neighborhood with locals enjoying a laid back and relaxing time. There were views from all over the house, which had a really nice open concept but very spacious bedrooms. It’s well stocked with all you need for cooking and the couches and beds were very comfortable. I am surprised by people who complain of small things needing fixing, this is a home rented to dozens of people in a short time period. Things cannot be perfect and who cares if a screen is a little torn. The bar next door is a neat perk honestly since it’s always busy but you never hear it, and their food was a fun treat. The lake was really warm and the different beaches and parks kept it interesting for us and small kids especially. Cass was incredibly helpful during our stay, there were initial communication glitches mainly due to the website making messages hard to follow and read but once we arrived she was there waiting and constantly available, which is way more than i have experienced at other rentals. This place really made me appreciate the idea of vacation rental by owner and I would be delighted to come back.

The House is in a great location. View from front porch is awesome. House needs some work. Broken screen on back door, coffeemaker took 2 hours to brew a pot of coffee, door knob on bedroom door fell off. Listed as New Lake Home. It is far from new.

Great location and property

Our group had a great long weekend renting this property. It’s right across from Lake Como and convenient to Lake Geneva by a short drive. It is next to a bar but we were not disturbed by it at all. The house itself is well-equipped with everything needed and was clean and tidy, and overall our group enjoyed our stay very much.

A Little Run Down for the Price

The owners are very nice and responsive and seem concerned about the “details of the visit“. However, the property was not real clean and sleeping accommodations were not great for a large group such as ours. One of the pull-out sofas was in disrepair and didn’t appear to have been changed or cleaned under. It was not easy to find adequate bedding, that was folded and looked believably clean. The kitchen cookware is in rough shape, but the owner was very nice to provide a Keurig coffee maker. There is a bar next-door, that has a very good Friday night fish fry, but also has the sound of bottles being dumped out at various times of the day and evening. A lot of traffic coming and going, also. We paid quite a bit of money, possibly because of the holiday period, but for the price I expected a little more.

Great space in Lake Geneva area

This was a wonderful property for my sisters and friend. It would be a great place for a large family gathering or girls' get away. With 3 large bedrooms that slept 8, as well as hide -a -beds in the loft and basement family room, there was generous space for together time, as well as places for people to be by themselves. Plus, there's a charming little cottage right next door that's part of the owner's property, if you needed room for an even larger group. Three very nice bathrooms with plenty of towels. Wonderfully convenient location for Lake Geneva and Delavan; and just steps away from beautiful Lake Como. So many things to do in the area. The property was immaculate; beds very comfortable. And a well stocked kitchen for cooks. Lots of comfortable seating for meals and gathering; very enjoyable gas fireplace. Two nice decks for sitting outside. The neighborhood is quiet. Can't recommend this property highly enough.

bought this cottage in a summer cottage community in lake Geneva for myself, and tore down to build a new home. I repurposed many of the doors and used antique barn beam to support the loft. I did much of the work myself before meeting my now husband...and moving in with him and having a now 5 yr old daughter, so I never got to enjoy myself. I hope your family enjoys my home, I live only minutes away and always happy to help you make your stay perfect.

this home is not priced like many of the rentals on the larger lakes and has an optional 2br cottage next door to rent for additional space. Our smaller lake is less crowded and it is an easy commute to everything in lake Geneva without the price or traffic. there is a little restaurant/pub next door with a great family friendly menu. our community is a charming summer cottage community with many of the cottages owned by generations of families

2 miles of private HOA owned lakefront with 2 beaches. Use the 4 man canoe or our 2 paddleboards to enjoy our calm lake. Boat rentals available as well. Our lake has good fishing for bass, bluegill and northern pike, kids can catch catfish off the shore. my nephew won the largest fish contest a couple of years ago...his catfish was so big...he had to hold it with both hands!! we also are a golf cart friendly community. you can drive a golf cart on our roads and along the lake!!
