Erstaunliche Ausblicke auf die Bucht und die riesige wilde Blumenwiese von Cove Meadow. Inhaber Verwaltet mit Liebe zum Detail und mit Blick auf Ihren Komfort und Genuss von allem, was hier zu erleben ist. . Das Haus befindet sich auf einem 10 Hektar großen, größtenteils offenen Wiesengrundstück, umgeben von alten Bäumen und Moos-Teppichwäldern. Eine dritte Meile privater Küste gehört zu seinem eigenen, exklusiven Anwesen. Eigener Bio-Gemüsegarten und eigene exklusive Feuerstelle. Gemeinsame Nutzung mit anderen Häuschen von zwei Kajaks und einem Kanu. Vor-Ort-Start für Ihr kleines Boot. Ein ruhiger und friedlicher Rückzugsort zum Nachdenken oder für besondere Anlässe. Ein Favorit von Schriftstellern, Künstlern, Fotografen, Naturforschern, erfahrenen Wildnispaddlern, Fischern und Amateurastronomen. Der Startplatz für Kajaks auf dem Grundstück bietet erfahrenen Kajakfahrern eine wunderbare Möglichkeit, täglich die vielen nahe gelegenen Inseln unseres spektakulären Archipels in der Sicherheit der Gewässer außerhalb unseres geschäftigen Arbeitshafens zu erkunden. Beautiful little respite

A true gem on Deer Isle

We loved our stay here! We are completely charmed by the natural beauty of the location. The owner Lindsay is dedicated to preserving the native flora of the property's meadow, forest, and cove. We delighted in the cove's low and high tide's changing landscape and fauna. Lindsay was a wonderful and gracious host, who was responsive to our little family's needs. Our only regret was not staying longer.

Peace and Quiet

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ve fallen in love with Stonington over the past several years, and this trip made it so memorable. Having access to the kayaks was amazing, and we loved being so close to downtown. We saw thousands of fireflies light up the meadow at night and the view of the cove and meadow never gets old. There’s even a decent stocked market right down the road. We can’t wait to come back.

This is by far the best property I've ever vacationed at. It is cozy, private and has a beautiful view. The host is accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. She really goes above and beyond. This is a lovely island with alot of history and great seafood. You will not regret staying here!

Maine Paradise!

Soooo much nicer than we imagined

Extremely beautiful location! Very cozy cottage with great views. Cottage has all the amenities you would need for "staying put", but not far from hiking trails, shops, restaurants, and lobster boats! Owner was always available if needed and gives GREAT advice on where to go and what to do. Awesome getaway for a couple to decompress and breathe. We will be coming back for sure!

Early summer stay

We enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable, bright, charming Maine cottage on a scenic inlet overlooking the cove. Simple, creative accommodations; enjoyed fresh cut, beautifully arranged flowers from her garden. Lindsay is such a thoughtful host.. she surprised us one day with a box of fresh strawberries. At night, the meadow was full of fireflies. A very special place.

Lovely property. House very clean and quaintly decorated. Did not realize the owners house was right next door. She was a lovely host and did not intrude on us. We wanted to be in a private spot. Overall I would recommend a stay. Lovely trail down to the water front. So relaxing.

What a peaceful place to unwind.

The cabin is a great place to relax and watch the changing tides and colors of the cove. Everything is neat and clean. Having our own herb garden and apple tree plus clams to dig were a bonus. Our hostess is a remarkable and friendly lady. It was hard to leave and we plan to return!

Amazing stay at Cove Meadow

My husband and I were looking for a peaceful relaxing ‘get away’ in a place of natural beauty. Cove Meadow couldn’t have been more perfect. This cottage is quaint and comfortable. The setting and surrounding area gorgeous. The cottage sits above the bay, surrounded by a lovely wildflower meadow . Lindsay, the owner, was the perfect hostess; Knowledgeable about the area and helpful in every way. We’d highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves nature, the sea, and who also enjoys the charm of a small seaside village. Stonington is delightful!

I have restored to pristine conservation standards and done the main house and its guest house and gardens to honor Maine and island traditions of simplicity.
