Great condo with an ocean view!

The reservation and check in process was seamless and the condo was exactly as the photos and description represented! The cleanliness was a little borderline here and there and there was an issue with the living room TV not staying connected to the Wifi. There was also an issue with the fire system for the building in the box located on the outside of the building, near the elevator, constant beeping with a message stating there was a problem with the system. The host reported it to the property manager but it continued to beep for our entire stay. In the host's defense I don't think she had any control over it as it was a building issue and not related to any one individual condo. Also, the host responded quickly (within minutes) to my emails about the TV and the fire system. She clearly is committed to ensuring her guests are happy! Overall we enjoyed our stay very much!

Swimming, Nice view, Pickleball

Stayed at Ocean Pointe for a return stay. Enjoyed pickleball, swimming at pool, enjoyed great view. Spent time fishing in Keys. Clean unit. Only issue was washing machine in unit took a long time to rinse and spin, impacting dry time.

Perfect get away from Iowa for us! Building 5 is definitely the perfect location to the beach and pool. The staff at the Island Grill were awesome!

Great Escape!

This oceanfront condo provided us with a great escape from the midwest cold! Everything we needed for an effortless getaway was privided. It was the perfect location to enjoy the Key Largo and Islamorada areas.

Amazing stay, would absolutely book again. Clean, cozy and supplied with all you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The view was relaxing, wish the balconies were bigger. Pool was perfect! Thank you for offering your beautiful condo. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice Overall--not boater friendly

Management for the unit was great. Communication was excellent. The condo is nice enough. The AC is on its last legs and struggles to keep it cool especially during the day. I will not be back though---the dockmaster and marina are terrible. Their communication is terrible and take forever to reply to emails. I was only able to get a response after I had LiveCHat with the resort to get a phone number to call. They will not accept applications for a slip before 4 weeks prior to stay, and it is FAR more involved than any other place you will stay in the keys. After completing all of the forms with boat, trailer, vehicle VINs and registration along with insurance---got an email saying they no longer had boat slips available. So I had to take my boat in and out from the marina onto a trailer any time we wanted to use it. It was a royal pain. No one was ever around to talk to---the parking spots for trailers is not at all convenient. Again---its fine if you are not a boater---if your vacation is geared around boating, find another place

Fishing trip

We stayed here for the price. The view from building 5 is amazing. Quick walk to the beach. Conveniently located near a grocery store and restaurants. We will stay here again for sure.

Vacation in paradise

This property was in a great location between our drive from the Fort Lauderdale airport and Key West. The pool was very inviting with many chairs and tables surrounding the clean, warm water. The beds were comfortable and the view of the ocean was beautiful. It was a great spot.

Elevator a plus. Easy access to everything. 5408 needs a better cooking skillet. Rooms and bathrooms clean but living room rug and tile floors dirty. Socks were BLACK after walking around in unit for a few minutes. Not allowed turn AC below 74.

Great place but a lot of fees.

Wonderful location and great property. Pool area is top notch. I only wish searching by nightly rate was more accurate: nightly rate + admin fee + property fee+ cleaning fee. Then throw in a service fee?

Great for a short trip for two

Overall the condo was just what we needed. We picked this particular unit at Ocean Pointe because of the large sofa giving us plenty of space to relax after long days in the sun. The kitchen was well stocked, and we were happy to find a few pool towels in the closet as well. Only disappointment was the beach area. If you are looking to spend time at an on-site beach and get in the ocean- this is not the place to stay!

Disappointed

Damp towels hanging on coat hangers in master bedroom closet on arrival. Unsure of cleanliness. 3 bath wash cloths for entire unit (we had to buy our own) Some Dishes covered in dirt/dust (bowls) Food in fridge on arrival Living room window shade falling down Dryer doesn’t vent to outside (it needs a hose to connect to the vent) Unable to find wifi or connect “OCEAN_POINTE_CONDO” Nor “OceanPTCondo” exist. We did, however, see “Home5408” but the password provided did not work. There was a public Wi-Fi available but it was unsecured and spotty at best. I’m leery of using unsecured networks as they can be pirated. Chais on master bedroom balcony broken and pinched my leg . My husband bought zip ties and fixed them.

Easy Breezy & great views

The Ocean Point property is nice and quiet. The condo fit our family of five nicely. I read on other reviews about beds. The mattresses are more firm than what I have at home but I slept great, not an issue. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was easy access to all of The Keys. For July, the seaweed was up in the marina and beach area but I suspect that isn’t a year round issue. They cleaned it up at low tide. We would stay in this condo again!

We ran into orange seaweed and were disappointed could not swim or fish. It would have been nice to be told this was a possibility this time of year. Otherwise stay was average acceptable. The pool was great but very crowded do to the seaweed on ocean issue.
