Das 'Nook' ist ein neu renoviertes Cottage mit traditionellen Elementen und zeitgemäßem Dekor, das ein echtes, wohnliches Gefühl vermittelt. Es befindet sich im Herzen von Tideswell.

Dieses gemütliche, aus Stein erbaute Cottage mit mittlerer Terrasse ist ideal für Familien (und Ihren Hund), die auf 3 Etagen Platz für bis zu 6 Personen haben. Es verfügt über 2 Doppelzimmer (1 Kingsize-Bett) und ein Etagenzimmer für 2 Personen, die alle von einem neuen bedient werden Badezimmer mit Badewanne, Dusche, Waschbecken und WC. Alle Schlafzimmer haben Fernseher, einschließlich Schlafraum, der HD-fähig ist. Sie können also Ihre Play Station / XBox mitbringen oder den eingebauten DVD-Player verwenden (es stehen über 80 DVDs zur Auswahl).

Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Mikrowelle, Kühl- / Gefrierschrank, Geschirrspüler, Elektroherd und Backofen, Waschmaschine sowie Esstisch und Stühlen für 6 Personen.

Die Lounge ist sehr gemütlich mit ihrem Kaminofen, 2 Sofas, intelligentem Digitalfernsehen, DVD-Player, kostenlosem unbegrenztem BT-WLAN, kostenloser Amazon-Musik über "Alexa" und einer Auswahl an Büchern, DVDs und Brettspielen, die zum Entspannen einladen nach einem Tag im Peak District.

Draußen auf der Rückseite gibt es einen gemeinsamen Hof mit abschließbarem Abstellraum für Fahrräder oder Kinderwagen usw.

Das Cottage verfügt über eine Gaszentralheizung, die von einem Hive-Thermostat betrieben wird. Handtücher und Bettwäsche werden im Mietpreis enthalten sein. Unmittelbar vor dem Cottage können Sie unbegrenzt und kostenlos am Straßenrand parken. Entschuldigung, aber im Cottage darf nicht geraucht werden und nur ein gut erzogener Hund ist erlaubt.

Das Haus ist nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß von den lokalen Annehmlichkeiten wie Restaurants, vier Landkneipen, 2 Fish & Chip-Läden, Co-op, Post, Bäckerei, Metzgerei und zahlreichen Teestuben. Bitte schauen Sie sich die Pubs und Restaurants online an, da sie sehr gute Bewertungen haben und alle nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt sind!

Dieses Cottage befindet sich im Herzen des Peak District National Park und ist ideal zum Wandern und Radfahren geeignet. Es befindet sich in zentraler Lage und in unmittelbarer Nähe des Kurorts Buxton, der Marktstadt Bakewell, der berühmten Höhlen von Castleton und des Chatsworth House und die Haddon Hall erreichen Sie in weniger als einer halben Stunde. Dies ist der perfekte Ort, um diese Gegend zu erkunden.

Such a lovely Cottage!!!

The Nook is a wonderful home for holidays. It is well situated in the beautiful Peak District. Tideswell is a nice town with a co-op, a very good bakery and possibilities for having meals in the evening. The cottage is well equipped, the communication with Caroline was very friendly and she answers very quickly. We had a wonderful holiday.

Great Accomodation

The Nook had everything our family of 4 wanted. Clean and tidy and in a great location. Tideswell is a lovely little place, very easy to get to the Monsal Trail, Castleton, Bakewell and plenty of walks from the house too. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend for anyone.

Gorgeous cottage in a great location

I was really impressed with this cottage, it was more spacious than expected and it had everything I needed. I came to Tideswell for a writing retreat and it was so lovely and peaceful with beautiful walks and great pubs. I highly recommend the Nook and would definitely go back.

Beautiful village

We had 3 lovely nights in The Nook, it was conveniently located close to all amenities. As we had a dog it would have been helpful to know where to take him to do he's business, as the property doesn't have a garden. The kitchen window and door could do with a blind as it would give some privacy, also on the front door window, maybe a little curtain. Could also do with some new towels and bed linen, as they seem a bit worn and dated. These are only minor issues and we would definitely stay here again. The village has 3 pubs , a co-op , a bakery, a chip shop, it has everything you require all in close proximity. The Star inn is a great homely place to dine out. Thanks Tideswell, we will be back.

Lovely and cosy in excellent central location. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds with tvs in every bedroom. Definitely would recommend. Ideal for couples or families with young children as next to play area where grand children played every day.

Great location - lovely and warm .

The cottage was lovely - amazing location as pubs and shops very close - however don’t make the mistake we made as had assumed there was a little patio for the dogs, but the back door leads to a shared area with Neighbours which is not enclosed (we did feel this should have been made known) also the park next door has a big sign saying no dogs allowed .

Nicely decorated and furnished cottage. Loads of utensils and cookware in the kitchen. Road a little busy during the day with large lorries and farm vehicles but doesn’t impact on the cosy cottage environment.

Had a great time, only stayed a couple of days but packed a lot in. Wanted to show the boys the delights of the Derbyshire Dales. Poole's Cavern was a hit as were the hills above Abney. Rowsley Station was interesting even though we just missed the last train. Cottage had every thing we needed, well situated.

The Gray family have enjoyed many holiday's over the years in the Derbyshire Peak District and have always been attracted to Tideswell, due to its central location and it's friendly community. So in November 2016 we noticed this cottage had just come onto the market after being fully renovated. After furnishing it early 2017 and using it for a few weeks, we have decided to share our lovely, cosy cottage with you.

'The Nook' is located in Tideswell. It has everything you need to give you that warm, comfortable, home from home feel. The original beams have been stripped back and now form a really nice feature through the cottage including the master bedroom. Because it has been recently renovated by a local builder, the heating boiler and radiators are new and very quickly warm the cottage. We have connected the British Gas Hive system to operate both the central heating and lighting in the cottage which is very user friendly once you arrive. If you are bringing children with you there is a large playground very close by which has just been improved (2020) or alternatively there are many DVD's to choose to watch either in the lounge or in their bunk room. The TV in the bunk room is also HD ready so you can bring your games station if needed. A cosy lounge with log burner, 2 sofas, Freeview TV, DVD player & free unlimited Wi-Fi, free Amazon music and "Alexa" await you and with full gas central heating the cottage is really warm. A new cottage style fully fitted kitchen with plenty of crockery, cooking dishes, pans and utensils is ideal if you want to eat in. There is also a slow cooker for preparing those lovely casseroles ready for your return from the hills during the winter months, or why not bring your bread flour and yeast and bake yourself a fresh loaf in the bread maker. We have prepared a Sunday roast dinner ourselves to ensure there is everything you need in the kitchen. There is a electric hob and oven, dishwasher, washing machine and 80/20 fridge/freezer along with a microwave. Outside there is an out-house which you have a key for. Ideal for the safe storage of mountain bikes or prams.

So come and see our newly renovated cottage which has kept the old features and exposed beams which date back to the 1700's. Cuddle up with a glass of vino in front of the lit log burner which has a large glass panel projecting the flames into the room. Or go and experience the local community with many village activities taking place all year round for you to enjoy. You can really feel the village atmosphere each time you go out for a stroll. Of course for the more active, there are many beautiful walks, either along the rivers locally or up Mam Tor onto Kinder Scout. Come and see Derbyshire at it's best!
